I think modern kids are adjusting to new inventions very fast, so there really isn't much of a problem with that. Apart from fast adaptations, they are not familiar with what money should be like, so I don't think there is much difference between paper cash, credit card and bitcoin for them.

Exactly, kids today are good for what is the new inventions with the technology today. But usually you can just easily teach them how to claim from faucets or play some app games that rewards few satoshi's. Because I don't think that you need to be broad upon teaching them completely with bitcoin because it might get them confuse about it.
Kids should be more focus on other things that will help their childhood to be productive, bitcoin is still not good for them as it's not the right time to invest with it. You can only tell them when they will ask first as for sure they are interested, it's hard to teach kids about bitcoin as it is a serious way of transaction online.

Yup, kids don't know what really money is, but not all kids like new technology except for games and videos... They are very fast in learning those and videos could really gets their attention...Kids are not the same in everything, they sometimes have a different interest even if they are brothers or sisters... So it depends, we should know what our children loves to do and incorporate teaching bitcoin with it...  Smiley

For me kid are not good to teach about bitcoin you only waste your time since they are not interested yet about earnings much better to teach them to learn more in school but not about earning.

Good point mate. Most kids are more into playing and studying and it's really a hard job for you to interest them in bitcoins.. they won't understand it until they will become independent from their parents and live on their own. Kids are not matured enough yet.. you may interest some but not a lot.
agree with you, do not force young children to know what they should not know, even still too early for them to know about the money, I do not know what should be learned by young children, but I know they will never understand if you tell them about the financial system, including cryptocurrency (bitcoin) so you're just doing a futile

Lets just forget teaching bitcoins about kids cause its probably just a waste of time but teach the teens ages 15 or 16 above instead . 15-16 above is the age that they are more into web stuffs/games and they all wanted something that can be buy with money.

First is show them any proofs that bitcoin is real, If you have receipts when you exchange bitcoin to your local currency then that will do.  And if the teen is interested, >have him register an account here
>Explain how the forum works (rules etc.)
>Tell why newbies are not allowed to participate in sig. campaign and while waiting for the account to rank up, use that time to get familiar in the forum/to gain knowledge about btc

If he/she successfully joined a signature campaign then he/she will learn that you have to work hard in order to earn money, value things etc.
That age is one of the easiest to teach them than below that age since some of them are knows about online and they want to have some extra money while they are studying.. just like me if i know bitcoins before when i was teen ager like 16 of age.. maybe i have lots of bitcoin right now save in my wallet and waiting for price increase. because before i am always looking for extra or partime job online because this my dream to have a work or task online that can earn and save it for a long time..

Besides their earning interest, they won't even be able to understand it at fist place, because bitcoin is not an easy thing to be understood by everyone, it becomes really complicated for someone who has not been involved in such things before and kids are far away from these things until they reach a higher age i guess.

i think teaching bitcoin to kids is nor a good idea until if any kid shows any wish to learn about it. it can effect negetively if we try to teach them about it forcefully against their will. we can build some play boards or kids ryms or music related to bitcoin just to put them in bitcoin related environment
Not just kids, even adults will not agree to know about bitcoins system if they are not actually interested to know about it. In my opinion too, teaching kids about bitcoin is completely unnecessary until they themselves want to know about it.

Actually this type of thinking might be coming from using kids to work for faucets as the time pass. That also very negative thinking in my opinion.

There's not much of a reason why would you teach bitcoins to a kid. They have to be in school learning things that they need when they grow up. Teaching them bitcoins will just make them confused and forcing them to learn bitcoins will just result into having bad childhood experience.

I think it's enough to just tell them that bitcoin is an internet money. They can't do other things like mining yet. Faucets and all those micro-tasks are just a waste of time. They don't need to earn money anyway. So simply informing them about bitcoin should be enough for them to understand that you're trying to make money when you're in front of the computer.

yes that's right exactly. children have much more to learn aside from currencies and money handling. i think they should be made aware yes, as you've said, telling them it's internet money would already be sufficient information. and kid's interests i think are not that keen when it comes to money topics.
And  im sure  their  interest would  really easily  switch  into  something that  they  like  because  they dont  mind still on having  a  money  on  how to  earn  them  because they are  still dependent  on their  parents which means  they would  really switch to other things. Instead they would   try to learn  about bitcoin  they should  focus on their  study  first  would be  the best  idea.
Kids just want money but very lazy in making money, and of course you do not want your kids to learn how to make money as they will lose their childhood life. what they need to do when they are still young is just to enjoy and be creative, at the right time you can teach them how.

That's correct its not the right time to introduce them to bitcoins as if they start looking for quick money and if they get into gambling then it will most probably ruin their life and they will never make honest efforts in earning money even if they get grown ups and will always look for short cuts in making money.

Its not easy to teach them something about the bitcoin but this is also depending on which age they are to be honest.
I think that if we can make a sort of game to learn them things about the bitcoin it will be much easier.

I think the best way is learning by doing. So if they get experience since they are kids, they will not get any trouble to use it in the future. but do not let kids bring big amount of bitcoin. And youtube video is good too. But we have to be patient for explain to them, becouse not all of people can understand about bitcoin easily. Everything is need time. I ever explain about bitcoin to my friends but they are not understand.
you're right, but maybe they will never know what it bitcoin until you direct them to learn about it. I am sure, if you allow them to see the Internet, maybe they'll find is a game or animation, and it will be a wall for them to pass before knowing bitcoin, so I think we also need to direct them to recognize bitcoin

no nee to teach to kids about bitcoin.unless they are interested and ask you about it all the time.
But if they do not care then let them get a more important lesson in school than about bitcoin.

I agree, bitcoin is an investment for now and it will not continue to be investment in the future. I believe have something more good to do than learning bitcoin, you need to be matured enough to understand bitcoin and to use it in a legitimate way.
definitely, those kids will all grown up and know bitcoin by themselves if they can figure out or they're choosing to be such a techy person,if they don't have any interest relating to any currencies or such economics thing, don't force them,it will make them stressed

Correct that bitcoin is good investment and i do not think minor age can understand it they on the stage of learning on the school and not on the stage of earning in bitcoin.
