Yes gambling need luck factor to win but for HYIP I dont think so because that is not the same thing as gambling because with gambling you earn your money by yourself but HYIP you are making investment, but that is a scam investment there so there is no way you can use luck factor on hyip. From the start you invest there you will already lose it but with gambling you will still have a chance to get some profit too so both of these have too much difference

For me they are not same because HYIP are scam and also you need to invest to make a profit or interest but it will end to scam.
gambling is a game that you can win or lose and also gambling is for fun and you can make lots of money if you are lucky.

I think HYIP is not completely equal to gambling.I mean HYIP is investment ponzi and will eventually turn into scam whereas gambling is not Scam-you already knew you will either win or lose in gambling but in hyip you can lose your money at any time or may be never at all.

Yes, that's the big difference between gambling and HYIP programs.
Now a days, many people apply a strategy to HYIP, like making profits and withdraw all the investments in day one or two. But these HYIPs could not last at least for 24 hours. Houses always win Huh

Every investment ever in the entire of the human race has been a gamble. You are basically investing in something that may or not work, you just have reasonable expectation that it will. This is no different from gambling. You have reasonable expectations of winning due the edge of the house being more or less fair.

@voztata. you have a very good point that why to go for other things when bitcoin itself is awesome investment. The price is quite volatile.. ups and downs.. some people can really earn lots from small trades.

@shanem. yes u got a point but if u invest little .. get the profit for a ew days and they take out the bitcoins along with ur principal.. then that is better than gambling ?

Gambling is satisfactory when we win. I consider it as a hobby now, I set a definite amount of money I want to gamble and I stick to it, no more than that. I mean people smoke and spend so much everyday day to puff some air out of their mouth. Gambling is my hobby and I like it.

HYIP program is a kind of gambling. But, there are lot of real profit sharing programs there. But they do not give you higher returns. When bitcoin itself an awesome investment, whey you people go for HYIP?

That is true, just by keeping coins we can make quite good decent profits but I don't know why people fall on these high interest rate trap and lose all there money to these sites. I think it is a complete waste of money and time in finding a good hyip sites.

I have seen some crazy guys depositing in the prior stages or in the very beginning and taking it our in a couple of days.It is very complicated situation to decide how and when but of course not worth it considering the risks in both of them.Gambling could be satisfactory though.

I believe comparing the HYIP with the gambling must be right scenario. Because both are out of our control to get back any profit from our bankroll. Once the money invested into HYIP or gambling needs to be forgotten forever. Because there is no guarantee for any returns or for the money we have invested from both HYIP and gambling.

What you said is true. After investing money in these two, we should forget our money until we get it back in out accounts. But in gambling, you will enjoy the game and will have fun time but in hyip investment you will miss this part. That will be difference in both of these two.

I think your not correct because trusting some one else, who trust you don't even know is very dangerous than trusting well reputed gambling sites. IN gambling at least you can have some fun so if you lose you can think that you paid some fee for your entertainment but in hyip people are scamming you. Both are completely different but end result may be same in some cases.

Well, HYIP give reasons as to why the business was not a success, another different story is if this is as verifiable as a gambling site with proper security measures. I hope that in the future we can do decentralized HYIP and we can know and verify where all the money is moving to and see the flow of all the money's investors, to see if its being put to good use or its about to become yet another scam.

I sometimes feel we can make good profit with HYIPs too , because see when the HYIP is new (like one or to days old) it will not scam and we can invest in that to gain profits, at the same time we can loose too though with an one day old HYIP programs.

It is just a risk in general. If you deposit over there 'goal' they will close. So even if you deposit 0.001 on the first day you get like 0.0011 back or something. Yes its 100% but if you deposit 0.1+ they will probably take that and start again.
