i think hyip is something like gambling, i mean in both of the mentioned things you have to risk money in order to make some kind of profit, the only thing that is different are the chances of wining and money amounts
It's 2016 still there are many people hooked to HYIP programs. How this scheme will stop if people will easily get hooked. For those newcomers in online world, they can asked here in this forum if the HYIP is HYIP as a first precaution.
Once again: don't invest in HYIPs and if you really do be prepared to lose everything. Another thing: usually they pay very low amounts while if you put big money into them you 'll lose them all.

HYIP and Gambling site will continue to exist cause there are huge demand for it, for as long as people are looking for quick money hyips sites will continue to exist.
what you said is correct. Most people will be looking for a quick money so they will try to find ways to make more money. These hyips will trap these kind of mind set people easily by offering eye catching interest rates like double your money in just 50 hours. These are complete scam, do not fall on these trap and lose your money.
HYIP is a form of gambling yeah true and spot on, but its a gambling where you know you will lose at least once, while in gambling with extreme luck you can win all the bets in your life. I hope I was able to explain my feelings and experience in the words.

You could easily notice how these HYIPs are most of the times created by the same scammers, they only change name and domains but they are always the same scammer. They use the same sites and the same platforms.

hyip is gambling, all the investor based games can not guarantee you any profit as it might easily fail after a day or so, what would lead you to losing your money, but it also can work for a while
short term hyip,example double your bitcoin in 100 hours is more than gambling,very risky.

i think its nearly the same if you invest into a hyip or just try to wager your money gambling in a gambling website, i think either way its better not to waste money in neither gambling nor hyips
The thing is that hyip is a hard try to even think to invest a single penny into them,sure the potencial earnings are amazing if they could pay what they offers... i would be rich,last investment i had made just turned into scam and i havent withdraw a penny i reinvested all in a month i were with 70% balance of investment,when i tryed to cashout i saw the problem were happening around a week already.
yes i must admit that hyip is the same thing as gambling in hyip you put money into the program and you can either get your winning with investment or loose everything the same like in gambling
I agree, hyip is like gambling, is equally difficult to guess, but I think gambling is better because it is clear and away from the scam, I was traumatized by hyip because sring scam and not reliable.
I think investing in hyip is not a gambling because you don't know when these guys close site but in gambling if you chose sports betting than if you can win in some matches surely if you know the team and there strength. So I think both are not same but slightly risk wise similar.

All of these sites will close and scam people. I never invest in these hyip sites instead I prefer to lose by myself in gambling.

But soon or later all hyip sites will close there business but who ever aims for bigger profit than they will try to push it for longer period to attract more deposits. Once they feel enough than surely all off them will close at the end so don't fall on any hyip eye catching interest offers and lose all you're coins.
HYIP isn't gambling. That's simple theft. The only gambling like element is guessing the time when the operator will run with the "investors" money.
I also couldn't find any reason to compare HYIP with gambling. Because HYIP is totally out of control it is like giving our money to somebody else. But in gambling you can stop at any time even with very small profit or with with small loss also.
So, in HYIP there is no possibilities of preventing losses.
