Once I am done buying I will use pixie dust to pump the price back up.

So pixie dust is the secret ingredient we are missing??

Yeah I think so...everything else looks mighty fine...just low on pixie dust.  That stuff pretty much makes anything better from exchange rates to bland tasting soups.

I've been away from HYP for a while now, just coming to check in on how things are. What are the normal blocks everyone is running? 8k per block??

Well I am the freak on this but I have all of my blocks at 25k. They stake within 20 days so you can go from there.

1000/25000 = 4%
At 10 day intervals, 4x36 = 144% year
At 20 day intervals, 4x18 = 72% year

inflation control is fully armed and operational

That's all on me.

I am using the ancient powers of the Dark Lord himself to lower the price so I can afford to buy my way up the rich list.  Once I am done buying I will use pixie dust to pump the price back up.

Damn I thought I was the only one. Hmmmm. Where are you located? Time to square off.

Because you aren't adding big enough buy walls.

Most likely mass investor still hasn't recovered (or even has disappointed in the idea) from loses caused by few unprofessional mimic high PoS coins on Polo, whilst true supporters already have positions big enough for compounding. There is also no aggressive marketing, which is probably good. Sooner or later there will come the use cases that will bring publicity to the project with all accompanying capital infusions and trading activity.

Yeah, somebody should fork Counterparty or Mastercoin and put it on top of HyperStake instead of Bitcoin. Unfortunately, I'm not a programmer and I don't have a clue how difficult that would be.

So how does StakeAgeV2 work? is that in every Coin? how do you determine the metric?

Edit: I notice you are a superhero around here Wink

Its actually because when the coin was launched, the stake modifier was not correctly calculated. So although the min stake age in the code is 8 hours, the modifier really holds it back to 8.8 days. the V2 is something that I have used across the wallets for various calculations that need to be based on the 8.8 day figure.

CPU problems officially solved Smiley Update to the latest repo for less CPU consumption. This was really only affecting clients that had no mintable coins.
Code:
PID USER      PR  NI  VIRT  RES  SHR S  %CPU %MEM    TIME+  COMMAND
11527 root      20   0  254m 146m 5028 S   0.3 14.6   0:59.54 hyperstaked

I can confirm this commit reverses the issue. In fact the Hyperstake daemon is so low on the CPU usage list in top, I have to search to find its threads.   Cheesy
