Biomech.  How about working on a decentralized exchange for HYP. That'd be awesome.

Hello. Bye.
This is an old coin, I can see a great growth in 2018 for Hyper. I have two questions, is the coin supply is unlimited? and is the 750% rewards system a staple for infinity or will it eventually decline?

Technically there is no supply cap, however there is a built-in inflation control mechanism and  the emissions curve continues to decrease over time or as more people come into it.  Currently, average rates are closer to 34%. however depending on your strategy you may do better or worse. It's unique to everyone and that's part of the fun.

Thanks for the great answer!

At first this doesn't look like HYP marketing, but this is just one way  we get organic traffic from Facebook to Crypto-city. When people view the relevent content to their topic of interest they'll also notice HYP by default on the site. Stealth marketing by not marketing at all. Totally unobtrusive and SEO optimized. Feel free to create a page of your interest and do the same. We encourage everyone to do it on: https://www.crypto-city.com/index.php/pages/add/

Thanks both!

So you think the cause of the problem is not related to the Weight of my blocks.

I did repair my wallet and, even though my mac should automatically sync the time with the network, it appears my clock was way off.  Cry

`$ sudo ntpdate -u time.euro.apple.com
22 Jan 11:44:40 ntpdate[48904]: step time server 17.253.54.125 offset -58.859095 sec
`
I'll try modifying /etc/ntp.conf to specify shorter minpool and maxpool, hopefully that will sync my clock more often.
Guess I'll have to wait and see if any new minted blocks get accepted.

Hi presstab and hello to the HyperStake community. I've been watching and investing in HYP for almost 3 years and believe this to be one of the most interesting and successful experiments in the field of hyperinflation in cryptocurrency.

I have a question regarding one of my wallets that went offline a year ago but recently I've been able to bring it back online and sync it. My blocks now have a very high Age and Weight, and I can see new minting transactions being generated, but not accepted by the network. Is this because the weight is too big? Should I split all my blocks now and start fresh?

It means it orphaned (someone beat you to the stake reward). Cick on tools > repair wallet

OR your clock could be out of sync.

1 usd and beyond are all very possible as long as the team and community keep plugging away and grow our ranks. Spread the word, share HYP,  build your community and personal networks. Build utility, by offering goods and services in exchange for HYP in your network. i.e. have some skills? Like to  make products, crafts, art, foods? etc..

The "real world application," isn't so much the software development but more so in the literal sense, like being willing to adopt and apply it use to our daily lives.  So literally, it just means people making a conscious decision to apply its use. This is something we can all do.  Literally, it's  just a choice we make as individuals and a group as whole and then things begins to happen. Grin Others will be curious as to why we do it. That gives us the opportunity to introduce the community to our friends, family, co-workers etc... and to continue expanding HYP and Crypto-city
