If he's gambling because he's bored then he's already doing it for fun, you know... When you're bored, you do something fun to stop being bored...

Seems like this guy cannot control his behavior, so I wouldn't suggest something that enables him to keep gambling.
In his case just quitting might be the only right option.

To be honest it doesn't matter whether it's for you or not for you, you will lose money if you don't know when to quit playing gambling games. Most of the people are greedy thus they don't know when to quit it and then they just find themselves in a huge loss, not able to make their money back. When I used to gamble bitcoins I also used to lose quite a lot, so I decided not to do it anymore.

If you gamble just when you are bored then you actually don`t pay enough attention on the game, and therefore you don`t develop strategies in your mind. Every game is different, you always need to have different game plans, you need to know min/max bets in order to know how much you can gamble with your bankroll.

It can always work out if that person is not addicted to gambling that hobby thing might work with someone that can control his self with gambling, and you can never tell if you are really addicted if you don't admit it to yourself,

And gambling is a randomly thing kind of game predicting it is not that simple and if you don't want to lose even more try in controlling the level of money to spend in a gambling bet.

Manage the money that you have so you would have enough money to bet multiple times. People usually like to go all in when the make their bets especially when they win a whole lot of money then they lose their money on that single bet. If you manage your money then you increase the chances of making money more than doing a single bet with a high chance of losing the money on something that you don’t care for.

Lol stop gambling why you realize today after youu lose everything on gambling don't gambling If you feel that gambling isn't for you there another way for you to earn money not only in gambling or playing gambling maybe try to quit and learn more about trading investments from icos. By not gambling lol, see op when you gamble you either win or Loose, you need to decide whether what's important to you the risk and then winning or keeping your coins and tokens as it is. See if you can't afford to loose at all, then don't play there no way to keep your coins and token safe and yet win. I feel you would be uncomfortable to loose, hence would advise you to refrain from playing and then loosing. If you yet decided to play make a safe and sound strategy and then go ahead with it. don't play when you are bored, or feel bad, i only play when i'm happy, i see that i earn more and lose less, or if i lose i don't feel depressed immediately, it make gambling more enjoiable, and eventually you will win, i think luck is connected with how you feel, maybe you think this is bullshit, but it hold some true

We all loose in the long run. I also have periods when I loose again and again. Today there are many gamblers on the sites, but when I just started to gamble with bitcoins, it was like two years ago, there were not so many players yet and the prizes were must higher. So, if two years ago it was like 250 people on poker tournament, now it's 1000-2000 people and chances to win got much smaller.

Obviously you can stop gambling but the most important if you do decide to gamble is to decide how upfront how much u will risk and what strategy u will take, if u dont deviate from that u can still have lots of fun without risky ur entire bankroll.

You know that Gambling is not for everyone but in your case if you are bored and still wants to gamble then go for it, just set a limit on how much Bitcoin or money you are willing to let go. Theres another thread that asks how many are still in negative and you will see that you are not alone but why do they continue to play? Because thats their way of entertaining them selves.

Gambling should be for fun and your aim shouldn't be always winning because that will disappoint you .Winning should be considered as bonus along with entertainment.

that's right if gambling is treated just to have some fun better to limit your funds inside your wallet since you are just doing it just to have some past time if you can limit your games and aim for a target amount either in a winning side or losing side it will lessen your losses and you still enjoying the excitement out from it.

Since you don't mention anything about being greedy and trying to earn a quick buck (or 2) I think it's just a matter of changing habits and going out a bit more.
Last summer I lost about 2.2 BTC gambling and that was it, had fun, got mad but it's what it is, gambling.

No tips for not losing in gambling. You should be aware that gambling is not a hobby.
If you have realized that gambling is not for you, you should go away from gambling and find another hobby more enjoyable. a hobby should make you happy, doesn't make you dizzy because of the loss.
