Hero members shilling for a dollar and change a day is quite sad. Completely believable, but sad.

Hero members ain't what they used to be. All you gotta do is post shit for long enough without being banned or hacked.

I'm sure you young padowans picture us luxuriating in gleaming towers of techno perfection as we issue our wise decrees. I can confirm this is the case for myself. Many others will be stewing in the dark their underpants chewing on scraps of raw liver.

Checks join date... you are forgiven.  Wink

Carry on.

So I was able to make an income from the internet (wohoo) $50 in more than three months actually which is a good start since I'm a beginner I was very proud of myself ,until I saw that bitcoin was rising yesterday and I bought what I could buy with that $50 than I woke up today and voila an easy way to lose money.

should I sell and take the smallest damage or keep and risk of losing more ?

You went all-in with $50 with BTC at $310, we're now at $286 so you've lost like $4 now? Holy crap time to call the suicide line!

Dude it toke me a long time to make that $50 It's all what I have online ,and it's kinda hard for me to use the money I own in real life online because of the stupid protected economy of Morocco ,besides I hate dealing with banks.
If you have a good english, you can join a signature campaing and post decent posts, you could make 50$ every month, more if you reach Hero Member status. In your country that would a nice income, and no taxes since you get paid directly in BTC Smiley

who pays more for Hero status sig camps?

links?

bit-x pay more, 0.002 more to be exactly, there is no limit so you can make much more than a mere 50 dollars per month

well it's not actually few dollars like many believe, you can reach 1 btc per month, easily if you know how to post without spamming

Selling sub 1K is a big gamble if you are here long term. By 2024-2025 we should be way past that, so anything you can get under that price is overall cheap for a long term investor. People can't think long term and stack up BTC even if they are perceived as expensive now.

apparently none can't wait so long, they want quick profit, because they think that something will replace bitcoin, or will eventually fade away due to many internal problem that bitcoin has, about security, mining ecc..

even if you have not, some campaigns like Coinomat and yobit pay for local board posts.

$4 is like 15 posts with a senior account with coinomat, so you can see that your loss was not that big, considering how much you can get with the bitcoin comunity

You have my utmost respect, I mean that. I'd have dumped for a loss long ago or hanged myself I think.

Anyone with some awareness should know that it's going to be a multi-year deal. It would suck being that far underwater but I'd be looking to hang myself post 2024 or so. By that time we'll really know whether this thing's going to motor or not.

Until then it's all to play for. An $800 buyer might look like a genius in a few years, or a goat. We'll see.

live and learn!

don't get disappointing when you lose money, this is a great lesson that you can gain a lot of experience from it. you must lose money to be able to eliminate false decisions and become more experienced.

but always remember to do some research before investing in anything.

I wasted $4 on ice cream yesterday and you are going crazy about that Grin

I bought 100 coins @ $800 with almost all of my savings so I should really hate myself  Cheesy

Are you still holding all of them?

Yes, see one post before yours Smiley

need wait for a long time to wait for prices to return $ 800, but if it happens again the price of the course will exceed previous prices

Then you will surely make good profit, I hope you will donate some to us fellow Bitcointalk posters! Cheesy jk

What would be killing me right now is knowing I could have 4x the coins for the same $80k just a year or so later. It's a situation I can't imagine being in, and I think he must have a very strong strength of character/spirit or whatever you want to call it to be taking it as well as he seems to.

Well of course I was pissed as BTC dropped down to $200. I could have 400 coins instead of 100 now. But I am really bad at gambling. I tried daytrading a few times and only made losses. So I decided to put all my 103 coins (I had 107 coins but lost 4 with daytrading) on a paper wallet and let them there. Its money I saved a long time ago. I have some other money on the side for emergency reasons.

As I said, I have a loss of about 60%. That is so much that I prefer/risk to sink with the ship instead of selling with a loss of 60% and hate myself when BTC climbs back up one day.

a simple explanation why $50000 is possible if people will consider bitcoin a solid asset class in the future:

There were >30 mil millionaires in the world with total wealth of 87.5 tril in 2012.
Conservatively, they probably have at least 100 tril by now since market prices increased in the last three years.
1% of 100tril=1tril/~20mil coins=~50K/coin.
In other words, if millionaires decided "on average" to dedicate just 1% of their capital to bitcoin, we will get to 50K easily.
Bitcoin just has to be established as an asset class and survive the altcoins/bankcoins challenge.
It is quite possible, but not guaranteed by any means.

This rollercoaster beats the odds of many lottery Smiley

yeah, wedbush said the probability for 1 btc = 1 mio $ is 0.02%

does not sound much, but 1 : 5000 ain´t actually so bad.

to win the the lottery jackpot it is 1 : 139 838 160

the odds are 27 000 x better if wedbush is right.

in my view the 1 mio $ probability is higher than 0.02%.

i would pull 5% aoma

kudos for still holding from 800, only a few can really do that, many would have dumped at 600 already

you also seems to be very relaxed, perhaps you have a trump card
