I agree with you and I think investing in top coins is the right choice and it's much safer for sure,
anyway if we invest in memecoin it's not a good choice and i don't recommend investing in it,
because it is more risky and unsafe it seems but what is clear before investing make sure you do some research on the coin

If insane profit is what you are looking for,  you may need to wait for better market condition for investment in high risk,  high reward altcoin. Investment in bitcoin at low price is the best option you have right now.  Just be on the lookout for new low in bitcoin prices as market correct,  you will be able to average down your position and when bitcoin rise,  you would have been in a good profit!

It's not even about what to invest in. There are a number of much more important questions.
1. What phase of the market are we in? And what can we count on? After all, it is known that all coins somehow correlate with each other.
2. When and at what price will you exit the position? Immediately or gradually?
3. What will you do in case of a drawdown?

These are just a few of the questions ...

I think your suggestion is good and it can't hurt to give it a try,
if you look at the current market conditions, it is indeed very volatile and everyone hopes that the condition will recover soon and return to normal,

Buy bitcoin and ethereum with 70% of your USDT, Bitcoin is the king and ethereum is the queen. In the long run, they will do very well that I believe. You can also do short-time trade I mean buy low sell high. But it's very risky, If you have no idea about trading then it's not for you.

With your 30% usdt try to buy some altcoin that is very potential, I would suggest you buy chainlink, Polkadot, Solana, Vechain, and Cardano. best of luck

if i had 1000 dollars now i would for sure try to buy bitcoin

I believe that if you wanted a big profit you need to do some sacrifices, if you are an investors and wanted a big pofit you need to hold you're token or coin for a long time and when the bullish season comes you need to sell it and wait for the dip to have an opportunity to buy again. This is so simple but it is hard to do, because holding is only for the person who trust crypto and understand about its classification such as high on volatility and high at risk. There are a lot of people that loss in crypto because they are smart but they don't have patience, so before investing try to evaluate you're self about how long you're patience is?.

Bitcoin and ethereum are always good currencies for investing these currencies have a very low risk for investment and there is no chance of being scammed the price went down but after a long wait the price went up again. Ethereum will be the best for investing in altcoin ethereum is the most expensive of all altcoins.

There are a lot of good altcoins you can choose from in the market right now. All you have to do is to properly research the fundamentals and stability of the project. The best examples of these coins that I have in my portfolio are ETH, ADA, LTC & XRP.

I also allocated some of my funds for Stakenet's XSN. I can feel this underrated coin will going to pump big soon.

$999 in bitcoin and the rest of your $1 spread into whatever alts you want lol.  No really focus on big supported coins if anything.  Small cap coins are a wind blow away from being worth nothing unless you are willing to gamble your $1k knowing it will most likely be wiped.

I hope you invested as at the time you were asking for advice on which coin to invest in. I was paranoia in January about cryptocutrency potential for growth. Unfortunately for me then, we had one of the highest rally in price of bitcoin. Now is another chance to take a go at investing in bitcoin!

BTC and ETH are always the first projects to invest but You can go with multiple coins to buy.
ADA is the next big project in my radar also. The potential i'm seeing is absloute!

You can invest 10 to 20% of your money on new coins like shiba which i don't recommend.

I think $ 1000 can be invested in BNB or DOT, and wait until the price of BNB reaches $ 1000,
I believe it can happen when the altcoin season occurs, the forecast is in Q3-Q4 2021 and the peak will be in Q1 2022,

I am very surprised with current status of market failing with bull and nearly going through bear. By this I mean whatever you buy it is gonna be very dangerous, but if you pick right choices you may do 10x in 3 months in possibility. I currently don't buy anything, I couldn't exit either so I stay with my rather better altcoins now.
