I think that the best way for you to invest your btc is trading , i have found that it is the least risky profitable way to earn money fast and easy specially if you use the the 1 min trading that way you could always make profit , i personally went from having 0.1 btc to 1 btc in a day of trading If you have the skill, if not then you're just like throwing your BTC away. Don't go full throttle to trading it's best to put those BTC on real world business and make some investments in real states. At the same time leaern how to trade. Don't just dive in without knowledge. I've learned that the hard way.
I would only suggest you should invest them long-term in sustainable agroforestry.

Split them into 3 part of investment1. Invest it on ico where you can get profit after the ico ends
2. Invest it on Casino Bank Roll even you get low percentage atleast you have per month
3. Trading buy some altcoins that has potential to grow all altcoins has a potential to grow but depends on the volume.
4. Don't keep looking on online investment because it might crashed hard when something goes wrong, instead make some services in your area that you think people will demand.
5. Having that money, you can pay for education, invest in skills and knowledge then flourish there, you will see that success will chase you when you are knowledgeable enough.

I suggest to divide about 50% into some altcoins eg Waves, ETH and some other altcoins, because altcoin can rise up to thousands of percent in a year.
Everyone has his own way of looking up at the things but I think of holing of those bitcoins to be the best possible option at the very present moment. It is because of the reason that the market price of bitcoin is increasing significantly with each passing day and it will continue to do so in the coming days as well. My advice for you is to keep and save that 12 btc of yours. 12 btc is a huge amount of money so you better be careful when using or investing it. If youre planning to invest it, try to do some research first to the company you want to invest. Its better to be safe than sorry. Also, wait until the price of bitcoin become high so that if you trade or convert your btc, you will easily become a rich man.
If I had 12 BTC, I would move 2-4 BTC and invested them in LTC or ETH. There was price boost of BTC and all alts were red. I would take the chance. A quick math. You could buy ETH at 0.045 BTC and if you invested 4 BTC that time, you could get 4/0.045=88.88 ETH and after fork drama ETH will be at 0.06-0.08 range. You could literally double your investment. In my opinion, sitting idle with BTC is safest but investing into good project is the coolest and smartest move.

Just wait till after the fork because of they go a lot up i would suggest to sell some even and invest in other altcoins some and keep some for later 4 for investing in altcoins 4 for keeping for later and 4 for selling if they become very big after the fork.
Is it better to just diversify it into different good coins in the market because the market of altcoins and bitcoin are the same right now because they are dumping and buying those good coins in altcoins is a good option and with that 12 bitcoins you have a strong purchasing power so if i were you, i will just keep on holding and diversifying it into different good altcoins.

Wow, If you have that amount until now, You are being rich because bitcoin today is high up the value of bitcoin. But if you asking where you invest that btc, I will suggest that invest it in trading. In trading their is posibility that your bitcoin is more double and less scam because trading is legit. Just learn all the bitcoin and altcoin currency and how it is drop and up in a time.

The best thing to do is to hold and keep it for a long period of time because the market value of Bitcoin is continuously increasing as days are passing by. How you invest this depends on how you achieve that bitcoin in first time.
1. If you buy it at a certain price, and now you already make profit from it, i suggest you to take your initial investment, so it is your return of investent, and foe the coins left, you can use it or maybe keep it as the price always increases right now, it drops a bit, but always go up after that.
2. If you achieve it by working and not using a single money to buy it, than you can cash some to feel rewarded of your job this time, and still, you can keep it at your wallet and wait for the price to increases more
3. Or you can buy other coins and join some project that you like on this forum. Since this forum has a lot of interesting project to support and gain more from.
Well it is all come back how is your condition economically, if you have a well steady paid job, than i suggest you do some calculation on what price mark will you be selling that bitcoin
You can spend your Bitcoin on alt coin because hardfork is coming so all alts price went down at that time you can buy some alt coin which give you profit otherwise you can buy ico which good investment from my point of view

Reading the earliest posts in this thread is almost quaint! Back when this thread was posted, everyone was saying "hold on to the end of the year, the halving is coming and could really boost the price." Back when the OP was posted, 12 btc was worth around $5,000, and now it's worth over $84,000. It's funny to see how far everything has come. OP even posted later in this thread remarking about how far the price has come (it was at $730 at the time) and how happy he was with that. Flash forward to today, 10x later...

If you have nice income or job in life, than there is no need to sell that BTC. You can change it maybe for other currency, but I would leave it in BTC. For few years. And then sell it when it reach 100k

You don't actually need to do anything but wait in my opinion. In that way you eliminate the unnecessary transactions which saves your time, effort and reduces risks of scams and hacks which might expose your bitcoins or wallets. Just hold and wait until the price of the bitcoins reach a certain amount that you would be satisfied to sell and earn profit from.

It's better to wait because bitcoin price is still increasing. If you want you can withdraw some to buy some altcoins because I really think that altcoins are also worth investing because you can earn money through trading coins. You should diversify your investments, that way you can earn more income compared when you're just focused on just one coin.
