Think twice, before you start investing your BTC. At least if you hope to invest in Bitcoin-related opportunities. A very large number of "investment opportunities" in the Bitcoin sphere are scam. Almost the entire remainder come with extremely high risks. Even if you consider lending out your BTC individually to earn interest, the probability to be scammed is barely worth the risk.

So my simple suggestion is: Don't invest your BTC. Just hodl. If you want more Bitcoin, work for them. Offer your skills. Or sell something you don't need. That's far more effective and less risky than "investing".

exactly, don't put all your eggs in one basket, you should spread them.
having 12 bitcoins is a big amount for me, if i had 12 bitcoins i would not invest them in one place, i would invest them in several ways, like holding them for long term investment purpoe, build my own bussines, trading altcoin, buying ico, invest in gambling, etc

They might not be scamcoins, but they are very fragile and easily manipulable. Bitcoin almost doesn't have this problem anymore, because it reached a point where it has a significant volume.

As Funbarrel said,you can trying trading cryptocurrencies,i like poloniex for that purpose,it is very handful and the withdrawal system is very good.
They provide you a way to trade btcusd but you can also trade almost all cryptocurriencies that exist's are are not scamcoins.

That's right, so easy to make your account as collateral and lend 1bitcoin. So if you really want to sell the account then I better lend and make my account as collateral and run with the money I loaned.

I had took a look into the lending service and some people stoped offer loans i believe that is because they had several accounts and no more bitcoins that they lost to the account forcing sales.

There is always people lending money, but you will have to prove them that you are trustworthy, use escrow and have collateral.

The best way to invest 12 bitcoins at my opinion is cloudmining, cause other ways is too risky as for me. Anyway every investment should be done only after long thinking.

If i were you and held 12 bitcoins and you can afford not to spend them/cash them out then why not just hold them until you get to retirement age. They may have dropped down to nothing at all or maybe you will be able to retire comfortably with a few quids worth of bitcoin to prop you up.

I think you should save one-third of your total money and invest two-third of it. Now divide your two-third share in 10 equal parts and invest at 10 different places like altcoins, bank roll of some gambling site etc. Never invest all of your money at one single place, it is very risky.

I think holding those coins for the future is the best thing that you can do with your coins, as price will start rising once we get closer to halving.

Why would you "invest" with the halving approaching? You are already invested IMO and there should be some good buy and sell opportunities with the volatility that will take place.
