Not sure about doge, many people say it will not rise that much anymore, because of to many coins.
And the price rised like 50% in like 3 days, which is alot, I would wait till friday or halfing.
I am thinking of investing in POT or VOLT.
Maybe into Vert, but I think I missd my time to invest in it

I like the 40,30,20,10 strategy. 40% doge, 30% in something middle of the road with potential like Meow, 20% in something newer with potential like vert or max, and 10% into scrypt mining.
I honestly don't think you can go wrong with doge at this point, huge community and growing. I cant imagine a scenario other than complete burst that has doge less in November than it is now.

That sounds like a good way to loose 15k. If I were in your shoes I would consider all of the factors in investing in something. Asking on here will make your cash go up in smoke.
That said, if your set on investing in alt coins, I would buy a mining computer. At least if it doesn't work out you have something to sell to get your investment capital back. There are many computer companies that can build a mining system. I would stay away from mining contracts as they sell for more than they are worth.

DOGE , for active traders or long term , yo can put your 15000$ there , and in a year you can have 150.000$ or nothing , yes all of this investment is high risk , but if you don´t mind about he risk , the best option for me it´s doge , the most important community make the Doge a strong coin.
But for a more reasonable return, DOGE appears to have the greatest liquidity and has a huge community of advocates/supporters, plus lots of media attention. It has suffered from a recent downturn due to the admission that it has a 'soft' ceiling, but that doesn't impact the current utility of the coin.
DOGE has fluctuated all over the place, but is currently at around 160satoshi/DOGE - up from 130satoshi a couple of days ago, but well off its height of around 300satoshi.

Should have listened to those of us who mentioned DOGE. Since posting this, DOGE has jumped again, up to nearly 200satoshi -- a gain of 25% in two days. Not too shabby, but no way to know if it will stabilise or slide back down of course. Definitely one for active traders.

The biggest danger to any alt coin or even bitcoin is if iCoin start getting ramped up into the mainstream.
Most of you reading this will laugh, but think about it, I can see myself buying a cup of coffee with iCoin.

"Finally a Coin that is relevant, I can see myself using iCoin for buying items in the future as for the rest of the coins they really have terrible names. I guess us ladies are more fussy when it comes to these things.

Check out NXT, you will see it is one of the only truly innovating altcoin in 2013-2014. I personally put 10k in it one month ago. I'm so glad I did. I have stakes in many altcoins (LTC, PPC, XPM, NMC, CAT, DOGE, MEOW, UFO, GRC, Reddcoin, LOT, SEXcoin, MMC, DATACoin), some to a higher extent than NXT, but NXT is by far the most promising.
Here's a don't: don't invest money in stocks (ASICminer, ActiveMining, Rentalstarter and the likes). 90% fail. I lost 100 BTC in 2013 due to investments in failed mining operations. Many other people lost a lot more.
And of course, don't live any money on any website (exchange, online wallet, etc.)

as much as i am a fan of klondioke in 1 - 1 1/2 months there will be 10,000,000 minted as much as i would love to see klondike that high myself it will not have a market cap of 10,000,000 in my opinion

I have $15,000 worth of BTC i want to invest it ALL AT ONCE into one or two coins, please put your suggestions here. It has to be a coin that is not overpriced, as in there is still room for like 10x-30x growth within the next 2 weeks, NOT WITHIN THE NEXT 1 year.
