The beginner has nothing to do in the topic ico. You rather just give your $ 500 to scammers or invest in the wrong projects than you can earn on this. Better invest $ 500 in coins from the top 10.

Really cannot say which is which but what I can say is that it is always better to not ask for opinions from random people here in the forum since a lot of people may give crappy advice or misleading ones just to promote their favorite coins. What you should do is to do your own research well enough so you won't have to ask for some suggestions that may lead to losses than profits.
It's not that bad a decision but you have to be very picky about the ICO you choose
Investment is too bad an option. Although now there are more and more ICO that complete in 2 days with the collection of all funds. Such ICO can really get Golden.
I am not in the favour of investing in ICOs because you have to wait for so long sometimes you have to wait for 1 or more year and after listing of that coin or token you will get nothing but loss because most of the ICOs failed to reach their hard cap so after listing their price is low and those who invested faces a loss !!
You should better to buy strong coins and tokens in top 100 market caps, with price less than 5$, as a long term investment, i dont like to invest in ICOs cause there is always dump after exchange listing
Agree with Ts i also invest only in ICOs , because i think if we invest in good and promising ICO they can bring very good profit in the future.

In my opinion the best idea is invest 20% of portfolio at ICO stage. For ex., I invested in Exscudo 1 year ago and I am still waiting for my coins bump.

Can you explain what do you mean about invest only in ICOs? When they listing was done in market or when they did pre-ico?

I think investing in ICOs is a really good idea, i just would recommend not to invest 100% in only one project. Even if it looks good, it's very risky.
You want to take a look at Qurrex, it is a great project. I think that the best about it is the new architecture that they are proposing that mixes centralised and decentralised functions. Really cool.
I think it is becoming a norm for ICO to have KYC these days, there is reason for these. To the mian point if you want people to suggest projects for you to invest into, I can bet you would be feeding at the bottom of the foodchain, research takes time and you can find it just anywhere
