You didn't lose 80k but you just missed the opportunity to have the 80k. Know the difference. And yes. I think not holding for a long time or not holding until the coin really become profitable is a big mistake.

Yeah, that happens. The big problem is that all we do here is calculation. We try to maximize our profits, but nearly no one buys at hte lowest nad sells at the highest price.
With some coins I lost a lot of money, because I didn't sell them at the right time and now they are just falling and falling; some are at about 30% of my bought price.

Yes its not you only who experience that kind of thing we all make mistakes here, the problem is we miscalculate how big is the increase, and we are always excited if we see that there is an increase over the price that is why we sometimes make a mistakes.

dont worry every trader has very similar experiences. you are not alone that miss good chances. and dont forget that this market is still very new. you will have so many similar opportunities in the future.
Yes, I have had the same experience. I used to sell my cryptocurrency too early, which caused me to lose too much profit. Actually thinking about it, we should actually have more patience. Investment in the encryption market. Patience is really important.
Just think the other side of this story. Think that you have bought those at $2 and went to something $5 or so. But you didn't sell by expecting a much higher value for this. But suddenly price goes below the initial value and now the price is $1. So now you sell all those because you are afraid to lose more than that and you are in a losing situation a half of your investment. Think. By looking at the past it is very easy to tell anything. But in real time it is very hard to take a correct decision at the right time. More importantly you have not lost anything here. It is just imaginary value.

In any case, there are plenty of other moonshot opportunities, just invest $500 each into the top 10 promising candidates, you only need one to succeed to recoup your investment and more.

I find this a good strategy if you have a big capital investing in a multiple promising ICO's then just need a one ICO project to go to the moon and all your loss will be recover.

That's indeed sad, but atleast, you have learned a lot from it. Use it as a lesson for you to not again fall for such uncertainty. Surely, this mistake will be a key for bigger profit in the future and hoping that other users will also learn from this one such that selling is not a good thing to do especially if it is due to panic. I would like to share my strategy, I never sell all of the coin I got 1 time, normally, when it come to a specific price range, I will sell to get all my investment back and hold the rest. By doing this, its like you got the coin for free (well, not really free as your mind, your time count, but thats the idea) and you can wait as long as you want.

Everybody in here I think did that thing. I got a friend who sold his trx at .05 usd he had 10ks of it and once the trx got .3 usd, he regretted his choice. That's so sad but we learnt from them.

It happens. You never can tell the direction market will be moving to. At time i gain for holding for too long and at time i lose. The market is unpredictable at times so dont be to hard on your self.
Cryptocurrency is unpredictable and anything can happen anytime. What you made is one of the most common mistake every newbie make. As you know cryptocurrency is not that easy as it seems and a lot of people have devoted time to gain experience. I hope you don't lose hope after that mistake, learn from that experience and continue.

I believe in the saying that success never comes easy and that experience is the best teacher. We must experience lossing first in order for use to be successful and stay humble. If we make a newbie mistake analyze it and learn and don't do the same mistake twice.
I quite understand your point. But I have some questions about the actions you took. We're you particular about it to moon, did you watch it's growth daily, what was your basic aim to have sold at the time you did. You might have had a pressing need at the time. So I tell you do not blame yourself. Better days to come.
