No. When I started, very young, I didn't know what I know now about how casinos work or what the house edge is. Gambling is basically stacked against the gambler, and the house has an advantage, always.

This is because the casinos get to choose the odds, and those are calculated to have an advantage against the gambler.

Yes, the gambler can win from time to time, but in the long term, the gambler will always lose more money than the money they paid to participate in the game.

This mentality can wreck anyone, gambling isn't something that can make you successful it doesn't matter the strategies you try to come Up with, you can't make it a source of income. People who tell themselves that they can make it through gambling end up losing a lot because they feel by not giving up they might be a huge win around the corner. Nothing is promised in gambling, it's possible to keep losing for 3 months and even more. We are all gamblers here regardless of what type of gambling is our favorite, so maybe to be honest before I also had thoughts like they mentioned such as "I lost to win more in the future", or "I will definitely win big someday", and I'm sure most gamblers have had thoughts like this before, but in the end of course like the saying that experience is the best teacher, I am one of those people who achieve awareness because they learn from experience.

But on the other hand if for example I find people like that then of course giving wise advice and input is something that is not difficult for me to do, but as we know that not everyone can accept advice from others especially if they are addicted, therefore if for example they refuse or do not accept input from me then usually I prefer to let it be because I believe that one day regret will befall them.

Those delusionary statements are not new to gambling, many gamblers do have such mindset and the categories of gamblers with such mindset are the ones that are just struggling to meet up with life. They are just people that are not well to do in the society, they have the believe that they would make it big time through gambling and they constantly gamble to trying their luck and this approach results to them getting addicted and still yet, they achieve nothing and do not have the right frame of mind to see for themselves all they have done to win a big game but they still persist and keep spending their life savings just to gamble.

Most at times, I feel those statements are hype from the group of that account to making gamblers rush to play with the casino most especially when they are advertising or promoting a casino on their handle, they organize themselves to be making comments as such to see how they could initiate interaction with their followers who do not really understand what they are up to and they chat them up or comment on their replies and that is how they get at them and they get traffic from such post and conversations they initiate.

Nothing bad to think in that way actually because you have to also believe in what you do for you to be successful on it too. This is it, this is exactly how gamblers think, majority of them are hellbound to gambling as their way through this hardship world, that is why I believe that many gamblers won't make anything life changing, their believe in making millions is what will keep stealing their money from them.

I am not surprised, even people that are close to me are like this, one old friend did well in gambling and I believe he got lucky but many don't believe it, they want their own piece of pie too, so they become a gambler just because someone makes a good amount of money from gambling.

Today nothing great is happening with them, and they have lost tons of money already, the moment you believe that you will change your life with gambling you are in trouble, you are trapped.

I don't agree with your statement that many gamblers win more than they lose because we all know that the rate of losers are always higher than those that wins and makes profit from gambling so there is never a time i have come across the statistics of winners being higher than losers. Despite that gambling is more of luck, there is no way majority of gamblers can get lucky and profit more than they lose but just few people that can testify of winning more than they lose. Anyone who treats gambling as a profession or source of income just because they are lucky to have been winning more than they are losing, should also be ready when things starts going in the opposite directions because there is no way you can get lucky all the time in gambling as some times you win and other times you lose. We just have to see gambling as a game of leisure and fun and not make so much efforts to make it through gambling if not you may just be planning your downfall with your own hands.

If we gamble because we want to make huge money through gamble, then we are possibly making a very big mistake. Actually, as gambling is made for entertainments, it's better to gamble with that purpose instead of gambling with the opposite intentions.
However, no matter how we think we can win or let's say, no matter how sure you think the odds are, it's better to stake with a small amount (one you can afford to lose), so that even though you lost the bet you won't feel bad about the money you wagered.

And he forgets that he has another $300 loss. So everyone should do monthly and yearly gambling profit and loss analysis to avoid gambling addiction.

A friend of mine has been lucky enough to consecutive winnings.
When I learnt of it, I told him to calm down that everyday is not going to be as usual but he turned me off and say... I should not wish him bad luck because he has so much believed it is his time to shine and we most definitely make it on gambling.
This guy said to me that he has excessive believe that gambling has got a reserve of him buying his dream car in the gambling.
I took a depressive breath and got disappointed of him having such thought of not taking control of himself.
And was not up to a week I could feel my guy depreciating on his fitness. I showed concerned of him on that.

This time he was the one on a deep breath feeling disappointed of himself because the chances of his lucky days were over where the casino has taken back all that he had profited from them and he has even been on debt while trying to recover his lost and then he is loosing more.

I just took a backward and said to him... That serves you right. You must have learnt on the hard way at this moment.

Sometimes, people only learn their lesson after reality hits them. And when that happened, at least they still have their support system who will never criticize them of their mistakes.

Gambling can really be so tempting due to some factors that would affect our psychological and emotional state. However, if you know how to deal with all these triggering factors, you wouldn’t easily fall on gambling addiction because you are the one who controls gambling, rather than being in controlled with gambling.

I 100% agree into this sentiment on which people or human beings do only be able to learn up things accordingly on the time or moment that they will really be able to experience unfortunate conditions. Usually we will really be able to learn up things when things hits up hard on which it comes into a point that we dont even a single penny into our pockets. We do literally stop at the moment or time that we dont have any more money to play, but on the moment or time that you do still have something that you will be able to pull into your pocket then you will definitely be trying out to play and will really be that indulge yourself until the very end. Regrets do always come at the end and it will be that just depending on you whether you will really be that tolerating out such condition until the very end or will really be able to make out some immediate action in midway?

For those who had been continuously thinking that they could make it through then those people are usually those lazy ones who do rely themselves on making money with gambling. On the moment that they will really be thinking up this way then they are really that bound into that having that potential disaster into their lives specially into their financial aspect.

I just don't let myself believe that I will get rich on gambling, which allows me to stop in time and not try to cling to every chance, promising myself that this is the last bet that can bring me to the next bottom. The problem with many players is that they think that pressing the "spin" button will allow them to withdraw money constantly, but this is an illusion that no one wants to believe in. Players need to be more realistic and understand that the casino is not waiting for them to make everyone rich. Of course, I don't want to say that everyone loses, but this is the majority, and only a few are lucky who really get rich and will not worry about anything in life.
