Have you had this kind of believe before now, probably when you newly started gamby?
There are people who are naturally like this in everything they are doing it must not be gambling aspect but in other part of their lives. Thought it happens to be gambling statement, but they can break out if they can manage their risk in terms if financial management. A gambler can make it through gambling if he has other aspects of making money that keep sustaining them, with this they have removed desperation to moderate gambling but yet are determined to make it through gambling and of course is possible just as they said "one sure odd" is enough to give them the required amount they need since they are already determined to make it through gambling.

"Whether the devil likes it or not, this money must be made through gambling. "

"One sure odd is enough to give me a heavy cash out"

"I must make it through gambling"

"I will never give up. "

" We lose to win more"
Most addicted gamblers are always having this kind of mindset, that’s why they are always finding it difficult to stop gambling even when they are supposed to stop. They believe if they stop, they won’t be able to achieve their aim, or maybe their win might come when they decide to take a break, that’s why they don’t give up whenever they are gambling. Addicted gamblers do have different mindsets whenever they are gambling, that’s why they don’t always give up easily. Even when some are out of cash, they do look for ways to get money just to continue gambling, having the mindset to win when they take the risk.

You call that as the mindset of a gambler.. once you call yourself a gambler, you are a high risk taker, and people who think like that does not only consider gambling as a way of having fun but they consider gambling as a way to make money as well, and they'll do everything to win.

However, they have to be careful with what they wish as that will put them prone to addiction, because of their obsessiion to gambling they won't notice that they are risking too much just to feed their fantasy to win big time. That's why this rule is very important, and I will always repeat it everytime I see a topic like this, "gamble what you can afford to lose only".

I believe, most gamblers are guilty of that kind of sentiments at one point in their gambling life. We are promising one more game to bet on but instead, the scenario will be - we keep on betting up until we have no more bankroll to use. It is quite addictive and if you don't know how to contain this habit, you can easily be the slave of this activity.

~
The latter ones sound pretty addiction normal, first one just sounds like an edgy nerd trying to sound cool lol. Honestly can't believe ANYONE says stuff like this, like in all seriousness. I've always believed stuff like this was said in the passing, just a joke or something similar.

Didn't even think about this when I started gambling lol. Maybe the 4th one, but not that specific lines. I never justified losing, I've always acknowledged it just that I always kept on playing just wanting to win in general.

Losing is always part of this activity. I don't think anyone only experience winning here. So if you already know the nature of this activity, why are you still hoping that you would hit big at the end of every session?

I think so too. I have seen profiles more than once that write only about success and successful bets, and all this is accompanied only by positive comments with a large number of likes, and looking at this, it seems that the player is really successful.
But it is worth taking a closer look at the accounts and everything becomes clearer that this is just a wrapper for a scam.
We should not believe everything that we see online. Even many things online are not real but fake. Although some bet slips are real and the gambler actually won but gambling and betting are beyond that. Some will show their winnings but not show their losses. If you can be able to look at their account, that would be when you will see the truth. They may not have impressive accounts at all. They may even be losing in total profits.  Some people do it for no two reasons than to scam people.

Can you guys believe that there are people (gamblers) thinking these way?
That quote could be a from a real genuine but deluded person, but this also could be from someone who wants to create social media persona around gambling as a lifestyle.

Because this would be very controversial subject that would get clicks, especially if that person fakes success, like most social influencers start. They start by buying followers and comments like you quoted. They could also claim, that they already have sponsorships to make them seem successful. Somehow people buy into that, because they see these people as inspiration and as someone who knows what they are talking about. That's why people follow rich people in the first place, they seem them as some kind of money authorities and wise people (which is almost never the case).

But short answer to your question:

Obviously there are some people that believe that, just like there are some people who wait next big win to end their gambling addiction.
But simplest explanation for those comments are that they are from most likely paid bots. They don't even cost that much and providing fake following and fake fans is a booming industry.

I feel like comments in social medias are mostly created by bots.

It doesn't only one short comment, with AI, they're more creative. Let's say the account is an Indian, but you will find they made appropriate comments using other local language. I think they took many comments and use AI to combine it.

I think people who thinking like these ways mostly are silent readers, instead of making comments, they will choose to gamble.

If you see a gambler with such mindset, will you advise the person or just allow the person to learn their lesson?

Of course, there is, even some of my friends have such thoughts.

When gamblers have their principles in the game, to be honest, it will be very difficult to give advice. Then I will let him continue his gambling principles calmly. Let them feel whether they are strong enough to accept the reality that occurs or will continue to focus on the principles they hold.

It really never crossed my mind to think or place such a gamble. Because I know, that if I have such a thought, I am actually entertaining myself from the dissatisfaction with the gambling results that I do.

Those comments are from gamblers to try to stay positive, there are some classic quotes on the gambling world, my favorite is the next one:

"Go big or go home"

This way of thinking makes us lose all after a huge win, when the win isn't enough to satisfy our goal then we will start placing big bets, and that's the only way to go big or go home. The sad part is that 99% of time users end up going home.

They are just saying that to encourage themselves and justify their losses. They are natural gamblers who do not evaluate risks carefully. Saying 'I will never give up' is like challenging the house, aiming to beat them. However, in reality, the house edge can neither be eliminated nor minimized. We all share the same fate: to lose in the long run. The only difference is a matter of time.

So we have to be realistic all the time, don't just look at the bright side that would only result to encourage yourself to lose more.. and that other thing, we lose more to win more, that never exist.

" We lose to win more"
This can’t be applied in gambling. Gambling is not an activity where hard work and perseverance gives off results. Sometimes no matter how much you gamble, nothing good still comes out of it. I don’t know why people think that if they just keep going it will all be worth it at the end. They will learn their lesson sooner or later and change their mindset.

I will just let them live their lives. If they are happy with how they live then I will be happy to leave them alone. I know my own beliefs and I will live my life through that.

Well, this is also his personal concept about gambling, and we have no hold on that. As long as he doesn’t gamble using his funds to pay his bills, then no worries with that. He makes money on his own, so he also want to enjoy that with gambling.

I was also once like that, but after series of huge losses, I realized that there was really no guarantees with gambling. You can gamble and often lose, while expecting a huge win is rare, and sometimes even your winnings still go back to the casino because you bet without setting limits of your own.

I don't want to be a hypocrite, but I sometimes think that way and I don't think there's nothing wrong with it as long as you have your limitations, which is gambling with money that you can afford to lose, There's an opportunity to make money so why deprive yourself with the opportunity?
There's excitement when you are fighting to make profit; you are not going with the flow but exerting your will, and that's what makes gambling exciting.

I had to add the quotation because it's not my statement.

It's so delusional to have this kind of believe but yeah, there are gamblers who are thinking in such way. I stumbled unto the X page of a gambler last night, he happens to be sharing only game prediction on his page and has a lot of followers and usually have a lot of comments on his predictions, so while I was going through the comments of users on one of his prediction, I saw comments like;

"Whether the devil likes it or not, this money must be made through gambling. "

"One sure odd is enough to give me a heavy cash out"

"I must make it through gambling"

"I will never give up. "

" We lose to win more"

Bla bla bla, I can not over emphasize on the delusional comments I saw, I just can not track the guy's page again but if I come across it, I will share it here.

First, people who have delusions like that are people who are definitely in addiction, of course people like that are very difficult for us to be aware, but yes emotionally if he is our friend then it is very important for us to give advice and remind him even though the opportunity to hear is small .
In the end we have to leave it and hit hard stones so that they are broken and that's where they will realize that they have made mistakes about gambling, they will realize when they get trouble that cannot be passed easily, such as the many debts and various kinds of difficulties from the impact Gambling Addiction.

Its actually a normal thing for some people.i guess these set of people are those that have touched a reasonable amount of win from gambling before so it construct this mindset that they can actually make it through gambling. First off, they should know that gambling is not an occupation. It's something we do for fun and hope that our luck falls into play. When we make such statements, it give us the wrong kind of idea that one day we will finally make that one win that will just cover up all the losses we have been making but unfortunately we just end up becoming pathetic. Gambling is risky and there cannot a a guarantee that one will make a win.

Your money your rules. Gambling is a way to entertain yourself so anyone can do whatever he likes using his own money. Our personal belief on what is right shouldn’t be enforced to others because they are the one who earned the money. Unless this is a family that share with my money then that’s the time I might share my opinion.

Been there done that.

Martingale.

When I first learned about it, I thought I just accessed the cheat codes of the world of finance. I was in high school at that time. I was making bets on sports. My strategy was simple. If I win, I’ll make another bet. If I lose, I’ll double my wager!

Losing was not an option. I had to win. Victory was inevitable.

Then somehow I got smarter hehe and abandoned this shitty idea. Learn to math bois. Saves you from a lot of trouble.

That was hilarious! With that kind of mindset, he deserves to learn his lesson on his own, because it only seems that if you are going to advise him, he won’t listen at all but will surely stick to his own belief. At least he will learn certainly from his own mistakes.

This is why I don’t attract people into gambling. Because there are really those who sees gambling as their instant access to gain wealth, when we all know it’s more possible that we will drag into poverty when we gamble blindly and irresponsibly.

people like that with these sort of mindset about gambling there is nothing in the world you want to say to them that will make them go back on their determination. Except they get burnt that's when they learn. It's only the hard way that their mind can be renewed.

Some of these gamblers are so vulnerable that they could easily be influenced and have their mind manipulated by those online tipsters who encourages them with motivational speeches to not give-up but their real intentions is to having larger followers on their page to get paid by X.
