The most important thing is to choose a couple of top coins from the list of top 100 coins On Coinmarketcap. Then analyze which one has its upcoming project related developments, how good is their project is etc. Always make sure to diversify your portfolio by choosing to invest in a couple of coins that would put your investment in a safe zone.

I don't get it. If you are only choosing from top 10 coins, why you still need to see which coin is better than others? Just divide your money and put in those 10 top coins and you should be fine. Whats many benefits? The only one thing you and other people want from investment is seeing the price going up.
I don't think all the coins in the top 10 will survive though. I really don't believe in projects such as EOS and Tron, they are basically worse versions of ethereum that are more centralized. Stick with ethereum and bitcoin if you want to play it safe.
Spread 100 percent of your capital into 20 parts. And for every 5 percent buy the first 20 coins from the coinmarket list. The simpler, the approach, the less you will puzzle. The only hard decision is where to take profits.

Investing in altcoins is risky... you really need to know what you are doing. I would have suggested investing in cheap coins with solid projects but something bad could still happen to them and no one would want to be blamed for giving wrong investment advice.
Many people are asked for the best altcoins to invest and if they "really know what they are doing" I don't think there will be a need to open this type of thread. Long term investment in coins like litecoin and ethereum are good as these coins has be with us for a very long time. However if I will advice op I will say he should do the research himself and stop looking for suggestions! Investing in altcoins is risky... you really need to know what you are doing. It is better to really do one’s personal research and get the project approved directly by us than to make decision from others suggestion, when we know that people will only promote whatever coin they are holding too whether it is a good one or not. Sentiments really come in when asking people about projects and we are all guilty of this.

all altcoins of course can all be profitable, but what is difficult for us to predict is when altcoins go up, especially now there are so many altcoins made, and there are many altcoins that when registering at market prices rise high and can suddenly drop dramatically and it will take a long time to get up again, so you can choose an altcoin that you think has very fast potential and movement, so you can make short-term investment profits, if in the long run, choose bitcoin, it's my safest.

The most important thing is not to choose shitcoin, I highly recommend that you buy popular coins in the coinmarketcap. At least choose one of the top 20 cmc, then analyze the coins. I prefer to choose from the top 5 cmc because these coins are more potential.
Judging from the many good news spread in the media regarding performance and cooperation with several companies and famous figures, I think Tron and Ripple are the best choices at the moment
I think they will be good in future. Right now, I cannot say that there is great potential in TRON and Ripple. Ripple is great but Tron has been in hot water lately. There are some great coins in the market as well and if you have plans to invest in any of them and make some good money, better go for the best coins and not Tron or ripple.

If you are as confused as you say then stay out of the market, the markets are not for people that do not know what to do or why they are doing it, also you want to rely on the expertise of others but if you do not know what to do then how can you evaluate the advice members of the forum are giving you? You could be given good or bad advice and you will be unable to tell the difference, you should not rush your development, there are always going to be profitable coins to invest but before you invest you need to learn. 
Previously you have to determine which investment you will do, whether long term or short term. If it is a long term then you can choose some big names like Bitcoin, ethereum, or ripple. But if you choose the short term it seems that Bnb coin is quite attractive.

The best thing you can do is be able to buy everything you can in bitcoin, and if you want to have some altcoins it is best to buy those that are in the top of the top 5 in CMC, This is because always this type of coins they are very similar in structure and history to bitcoin.
If I have money, I will choose the top 5 at CMC or at least top 10 coin list because that is the good coins that I can choose to buy now. But that will not just for the top 10 list because I am sure that the other coins will have the same things to be the potential coins in the future. As long as he can choose the right coins in that list, I am sure that he will make a lot of money from crypto.

There nobody recognizes what shits make you profitable but shitcoin market is a very big opportunity for anyone I guess. The most important thing to get familiar with your need and makes a bold move. Top 10 altcoins must be on your need list.

There are lot of good altcoins that you can invest which has a potential to give you profit. Perhaps, altcoins that are on top exchange list must be be your top priority, because for sure they have a good or huge traders in there as well. Here you can check at the https://coinmarketcap.com/ and one of this coins for me that are good was TRX, XBX, Vein and Ethereum.

Never allow somebody to tell you in which or what coins/tokens to invest because this involves our money that we earned hard just to trust someone telling you which to buy Better not to invest unless you’re sure enough on which to take,crypto is very risky while the volatility added losing to us so be careful

I would suggest, you invest in those coins that are reputable ones. BTC and ETH are the leading ones who are on the top of crypto coins. However, if you want to diversify investments, consider some coins like tron, dogecoin, monero and bnb. You can DYOR to confirm if these coins are really worth to invest or not.

When you are talking of altcoins, kindly learn to always distinguish them or class them into two. It is not all altcoins that are risky, when we talk of altcoins that are risky, we can talk of maybe those ones that are below top 100, while from the top 100, the ones with the to 50 are highly reliable. Investing in altcoins is risky... you really need to know what you are doing. I think you would agree with me that coins like Ethereum, EOS, Binance and many of them out their cannot really be seen as risky investment, though if one is to pick the most reliable coin, it will be bitcoin, which is why I usually implore people to focus more on bitcoin more before diversifying to other top altcoins.
