If you think Bitcoin is expensive you can decide to buy bitcoin in frictions and accumulate Bitcoin to the amount you desire. Bitcoin is not expensive like the way you think , just buy the amount you can afford to lose. Investing in Bitcoin doesn't mean you need  to invest all the Bitcoin , it will be very wise for you to just invest in what you can afford to lose,  do not try to force yourself on Bitcoin to the level which you do not see yourself in. Go for the amount that you can raise.
In fact, investing money in Bitcoin will never be lost as long as we are able to look after the Bitcoin very well in our own wallet, because a decline in the price of Bitcoin cannot be said to be a loss. But this is only limited to reducing the amount of money we have invested in Bitcoin due to the influence of the price decrease, but when the price increases, the amount of money we have invested will also increase so that it can produce more profits. So it cannot be considered a loss as long as we still hold Bitcoin tightly enough.

I have a little knowledge but I need a guide. Bought some cryptocurrency like XRP and Bitcoin. Currently people only talk about Bitcoin but the price is very high for me to afford investing in it. I don't know why I feel like it's the only cryptocurrency worth investing and I would love to try  but am still learning gradually about it.
One thing you should know is that bitcoin can be bought in fractions. Meaning you can buy what you can afford. like buying 0.0007575 BTC at $31 in current exchange rate. Not necessarily buying a hole (1)BTC. You can be buying it gradually or bit by bit. Maybe weekly or monthly. Depending on your source of income. And meanwhile don be decived by the pump you see in other coins, buy selling your bitcoin for trash because it has been the mistake of many people here. And we have lernt from our mistakes and wouldn't want anyone to fall for such. Except you wan to take a glance of it. Trust me you wouldn't want to even try it.

XRP isn't a bad investment regardless of how much people speak about it, it's always important you don't base your judgement on cryptocurrency from what people speculate, that's why it's always advised you DYOR, because not every speculations out there is true or will actually give you the desired results, it will be much better is you seek good knowledge for yourself and do all you do based on such knowledge, that way you will be in a better position to invest rightly a d be decisive about what to do at any point in such regards.

Bitcoin isn't the only cryptocurrency that should be invested in but then you need to understand the dynamics of others as compared to Bitcoin so as to influence your choice better.

Bitcoin happens to be the most talked about cryptocurrency for several reasons which ranges from it being the pioneer cryptocurrency to being the only truly decentralized cryptocurrency in the cryptospace. Not owning a few and yet dangle in the cryptospace gives the impression of, your not really sure of what your doing.

One mistake you just might be making right now is, having to attribute some importance to what is being said or what you’ve figured to be true and still not yet to invest because, you feel your not financially strong enough.
This would always seem to be the idea when your gaze is fixed on where the market price is capped. Withdraw your focus from the current market price and understand that, Bitcoin has got the Satoshi denomination. Pile that and in months, you could still own some Bitcoin(s).

You can't blame the people if they talk only bitcoin because that is the most secured crypto investment in the market despite of its high volatility. And frankly speaking, yes bitcoin is actually more expensive compared to other crypto coins because the profits you will also gain in the future is bigger than any crypto coin is. So never hesitate buying bitcoin even a fraction of it, that will be huge already when you hold it for long term.

Educate yourself more on bitcoin investment. But never miss the opportunity to invest in bitcoin now most especially that bitcoin halving is near and those who have bigger investments with bitcoin will definitely the one to benefit the most the market.

You're damn right bitcoin right now is the only cryptocurrency worth investing on, it's with an irrelevant risk when compared to other altcoins supposing you are investing for a long term. Don't get bothered about the price you don't have to owned 1bitcoin to be a proud BTC owner you can always buy from how much you have and probably DCA to increase your portfolio returns eventually. About not having cemented knowledge it's fine as long as you have the interest to learn, you can invest and be learning at same time in that way you're growing both in knowledge and portfolio.

If you want 1 BTC it is certainly very expensive because it is now in the range of $37k, that is a lot of money for many people on earth, only a few people can buy more bitcoin.

But we have our own way of collecting bitcoin, one of which is collecting bitcoin when the decline occurs, as before at the end of 2022 bitcoin experienced a price drop of up to $15k, and if you want to buy bitcoin at a low price then you have to look for the lowest price point in a cycle. But it will be very difficult and certainly too long to wait, so we still have an alternative strategy to accumulate bitcoin, namely with DCA, you can make purchases from a predetermined amount of time within a certain period of time, for example if you want to collect $10,000 in bitcoin, then you divide it by the purchase period, such as 10 months, buyer $1000 / month, then in the course of 10 months you will find a cheap price and maybe you will get a fairly expensive price too, but must be calm enough because we are on our way to a new ATH.

Just an addition, you better buy Bitcoin pieces to keep your money than Altcoin that you yourself do not know how the project is developing, I think it is a bad investor.

Consider this: a few years back, the price of Bitcoin was much lower than it is now. So, saying it's too pricey might not hold when you look at its growth. Also, you don't need to buy a whole Bitcoin upfront. You can start small, using a strategy like Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA), gradually adding to your investment over time. It's a way to ease into it. And don't worry about being late to the game, there's still plenty of opportunity. Bitcoin has a solid history, and if you believe in its long-term potential, it could be a worthwhile investment that withstands the test of time and thrives.

XRP and Bitcoin, who can guarantee profits and value stability between these two coins. There needs to be a comparison between the coins you are targeting, in the end only the best and most popular will be the choice. You don't need to collect money to get 1 or 0.5 Bitcoin, you can easily get Bitcoin with whatever amount of money you have. Your feelings about Bitcoin are correct, you just need confidence and money that is not used for other purposes to invest in Bitcoin.

BTC is the best at the moment even though it is always swayed by the market price. There's nothing wrong with XRP either and this coin is already very legendary in the ears of traders, it's just that the issue hasn't been resolved yet and if everything is clear, it's not impossible that it will shoot higher. So, back to the OP, which one do you want to choose and you're free OP in investing crypto world.

People talk only about Bitcoin because is what they prefer, is the coin they find to be the best, with the price on the high side is normal, it can go up and down. You feel the price is high for you but if you set your target properly I think you can afford it.
You saying you don't know why cryptocurrency is worth investing, to me is because you know is worth investing not that you don't know, you know you can gain from it when you start investing but the question is. Before going into investing do you have the tool to lead (knowledge about Bitcoin investment) you in the crypto world? If you don't then seek for knowledge about it before setting yourself in it.

A lot of people missed out because they had the belief that the bitcoin price was already too high for them to invest, and they didn’t invest in bitcoin, but now they are regretting why they didn’t invest in bitcoin when they had the belief that it was too high. Do you know the most interesting part of bitcoin? No amount is too small for you to invest, and with a little amount of money, you can be able to get yourself some bitcoin. You don’t have to wait till you have the amount of money that can buy 1 bitcoin before you should buy bitcoin if you keep on thinking that the bitcoin price is too high and you can’t afford it. You might end up missing out on the next bull run.

Everyone has trust in bitcoin compared to other altcoins, that’s why it’s being talked about more than any other coin. Some people had the feeling that the bitcoin price was too high earlier, and some of them decided to invest in some altcoins, but the altcoins that they invested in are nowhere to be found today. They are now regretting why they chose altcoin and didn’t invest in bitcoin at the price they thought was high.

you can always wait for the price to go down(which could happen anytime), but the question is, how low is affordable for you?

When do you know that bitcoin price is going to drop, and how low do you think bitcoin will go? I don’t know the price at which bitcoin will drop to before the OP will be interested in investing in it. Maybe when bitcoin drops to $1k or below, the OP will be able to afford bitcoin. The Op should just do his analysis and invest in bitcoin, Op shouldn’t expect a massive dump from bitcoin, there are some ranges that I believe bitcoin can never dump to. If the Op is really interested in investing in bitcoin, then he will stop giving excuses.

You don't need to buy large amounts to take an investment approach in bitcoin and you should allocate funds that are proportional to your abilities if you want to invest it. The reason is clear because bitcoin is one of the best and bitcoin is also able to maintain the value of the investments you make. Simply put, when you invest in bitcoin you don't need to worry about the price and even if bitcoin experiences a decline in the future, there will always be a way for bitcoin to return to the recovery path.

If you don't have a lot of money to buy then use DCA as a way to collect bitcoins. There are many posts explaining DCA on this forum and all you need to do is study them to understand the correct way to use it. There is nothing difficult when you want to try to learn it because something that is studied properly will provide good conclusions when we want to carry it out.

Since you are in the bitcointalk forum, expect that majority of the people will only talk about bitcoin as the main topic. But that does not mean that it's the only coin worth investing knowing there are really a lot but they are not as profitable like bitcoin. Research is the key. However, if you want to own bitcoin, then start buying even a portion of it. You don't have to buy a whole bitcoin, just a portion of it and follow the DCA strategy so you can increase gradually your bitcoin hodling.

It's a good thing that you are studying bitcoin first before you decide to invest. That way, no matter how high its volatility and no matter how risky it is, you are aware already on how to overcome them and end up with a successful investment.

Okay well it’s nice investing in bitcoin cus am a living testimony since I invested on BTC things have been okay even my part of savings have been very successful
You will continue to be fine as long as you can be patient with Bitcoin investments, because what causes destruction in a person is not having patience and prioritizing greed when seeing other people become rich. Even though in every job there is always a process for it and there are no get-rich-quick jobs anywhere, so you will still be fine as long as you still really believe in Bitcoin and continue to buy Bitcoin with the money you have prepared.

We don't have to buy 1 bitcoin, even though the price of bitcoin is expensive we can still buy bitcoin in small amounts, we can buy bitcoin for only $10

Actually, for me personally, buying altcoins is not a problem as long as we can choose altcoins that have good potential. I usually buy altcoins that are in the top 10 list on coinmaeketcap. For unpopular altcoins, I usually avoid them because they are too risky

I'm not trying to discourage you but trying to get an investment that will give a return like Bitcoin is like looking for a diamond in your house surrounding because there is none. Bitcoin it is what is today because it was the first crypto everyone believes and since it's the most decentralized crypto, it remain many people favorite everytime. But, if I'm you, I will split my investment and put one in Xrp and put the remain half in bitcoin, even if you cannot buy a whole btc, you can still buy some fraction of bitcoin and trust me, you will gain something in the long run.

If you have more funds, it's even better you don't put all your eggs in one basket, split the funds and buy different type of coins. There is one that you will cherish among the rest because that's the one that might change your life forever but I hope you know that altcoins are very dangerous, a profit can turn to a loss in a matter of minutes, that's what I leant from altcoins this year.

Though the price of BTC is currently $35, which is never too expensive to deter you from investing, I believe that it is never too late to make Bitcoin investments. You should acknowledge that you cannot afford to make an investment if you do not have enough cash on hand. Moreover, managing your emotions is a difficulty, so you should first learn to control them if you are not feeling particularly emotional.

But for now, I will not urge you to start your trip with a Bitcoin investment since, before you begin investing, you must first obtain sufficient education and understanding about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. As a newbie you have to, learning more about how the market operates and his techniques will help you avoid losses. Knowledge is the best key to achieving whatever you want to do or start; without it, there is no way to succeed.
