If you still want to grow your money then why don't you just store your bitcoin in a cold storage and wait for the price to increase,  After a few years there is a big chance that it will be profitable.

You can also try investing in a gambling casino,  Just make sure to study the gambling site you chosen.

Since you can't dedicate much of your time investments are good for you but be cautious because its risky.

If I have to quit like OP, I would rather save the altcoins and also invest to the rest that i think has potential in the future. Most good coins or tokens today are getting better plans for its adoption and are also smart enough to just run on platforms. Check them out one of the best I think is ICN.

yes its a good advice but for me, i would save only bitcoin and for me bitcoin is really worth it to keep for a long time. but for the altcoin, i think we only choose the best altcoins that will give us a value in long term. beside that, i don't think that tokens is a good to keep because we should make a list and then we should read all of the tokens that maybe can give us a value and its need a time to understand the long journey from the tokens.
The decision is base on our understanding, in the early times nobody knows that bitcoin will be as big as today because we cannot foreseen the future, if you believe altcoins will replace bitcoin in the future then it's good to hold but to be safe in the risky world, you should only focus with bitcoin.

Lol, with 40 BTC you can earn a very decent extra income without working. If I had this money I would invest it very well to make the money work for me. Trading can give good returns, but it's very risk, in the long run you lost 7 BTC, it's not much compared to the money you still have, but you could avoid this loss if you had invested in another thing since the beginning.

On the internet it's hard to find good investments, I would check something in a trusted bank and earn passive income from them.

Well, if you're out of trading because they do not have time for it, maybe it was the right reason. but, if you're out for losing, I guess it's not an excuse. Well, we've all lost trading, but, if you want to improve yourself professionally in trading, then you need to keep trying, no matter how many times you lose.
When the losses are due to lack of knowledge and not having enough time to improve knowledge on trading then what would be the options left for a trader other than quitting.

In my personal experience like gambling, trading also will be attracting traders to come back again. So, quitting will not be a permanent end. Hopefully traders will resume their trading after some breaks.

It depends on the person. If you for example quit due to the constant losses that you are suffering without any improvement, then it says something. Some people might indeed look to get back where they left, but if you don't realize what you're doing wrong, then there is no end to the losses that you will be making. Trading is no joke. People that can't adapt, will end up being run over. The train doesn't stop. Wink

Personally, I think it was a right decision. If you are just losing money with trading, there is no reason to continue with this.
It's not so easy as many people usually say, and there is no safe life if you live only trading. It's the same when someone thinks he can live only by gambling money.
If I can suggest you something to do with the 40 BTCs, I think you should invest it in different sites. With 40 BTCs it's possible to earn a decent income from lending in Poloniex too. You are lucky to have this amount of money.
I think it is not a good reason that if you lose you will quit it is just a sign of you are easily retreat honestly if you are a trader you will not be calling you  a trader or profession trader if you do not experience of bad or loses everything is happening from the start.. like other business that they are losing in the first time after that they learn and use what they are learn until they are making a good income.

I'm not sure that altcoins would be a better option for those who had faced bitter experience with trading. Because I am also not having fruitful experience with altcoin investments and trading in long run. I had made profits with one or two altcoins but own big losses with massive dump made my previous profits get washed out.

So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

Meaning you loss 7BTC, Well it will still be depend on how are you gonna use your remaining BTC. If you wanna grow it more you can continue trading on different sites. But the question is why are quitting.

Did you really read and try to understand OP's post? He mentioned he quit trading because he can't give it full time. And I agree with his decision which is actually the same scenario when I quit trading.

And by the way did Avirunes paid you in your signature? I'm sorry but you don't deserve it. You are suppose to at least give it time to visit for some updates. Now you keep wearing a scam signature which was already stopped many days ago.

I think that you took a great decision by doing that.
Very few people learn from their mistakes and stop repeating them, because I have seen many going bankrupt just because they can't stop themselves doing trading as it becomes an addiction just like gambling.

I could just add that wise men learn from the mistakes of others, ordinary people learn from their own mistakes, and only fools don't learn from anything. On the other hand, people typically don't make the same mistake twice, it is usually three or more times. As Einstein once said, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results...

And compulsive trading (just like gambling) can easily make people lose their head altogether

Real simple, start trading here. Seriously though, maybe :
1) Invest in a gambling site, because of the house edge you'll win in the long run
2) Have a look at this post, as I'm not going to repeat something already said https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.12165431

I don't just understand and didn't get it so well why some of the member here must start trading in the gambling sites though this was designed to take advantage of human weakness. Even they know there are many gambler here too but only one people can hit the jackpot out of many players in the gambling sites.

If I were you, I would hold on to your bitcoin as long as you can because there is a good chance that itwill continue to gain value. You could cash a little out if you think that it's to risky of an investment.
if OP'd lost the passion to trade and seems not interested anymore because he's gaining nothing for 7 years then it's not wrong to just move out from trading. maybe he's could earn more in another job instead of trading and keep holding when keep losing too. for the good of OP just grow your money anywhere which seems realistic. 40 bitcoin could make up a pretty decent business or store

if i have that money, then i will do an investment in offline and online, buy gold as my investment and still holding my bitcoin as my other investment, and the rest of my money, i will use it for my daily life. i am sure that if i choose the right investment, then i can get the profit in middle time until long time after.

its a good decision to quit trading and maybe you need to think the other jobs beside doing trading in your daily. or maybe you get boring in trading so you make decision to quit trading.

He is not holding bitcoins, as OP said he quit in trading because he does not have a good outcome for almost 2 years of trading if I were not mistaken. Holding bitcoins is only for future value but there are people like traders who would like to make an active income.
