I also use dex exchange for trade but I prefer exchange centralize even though it is very dangerous because many hackers attack but the trading volume in the exchange is very different from the dex exchange which has a low volume.
Well i am also not using any exchange at the moment. And the reason is the price. The market is down and with this bearish market, there are more chances of loss then profits. So my take is that do trading when the market is going bullish.
This year I have tried trading the last I did was December of this year but because of the market condition I stopped buying and selling coins I also prefer p2p transactions it's hassle-free but some of the top coins can only be traded in the centralized exchange.
For security reasons, I don't leave my funds in many exchanges, equally my trading fund has depleted because of the long bearish market. Some exchanges are just too greedy in their transaction fees and withdrawal fees. Peer to peer might replace all these centralized exchanges in the future.
If it is all about fiat exchanges will always be centralized no matter what you do, exchanges should have to follow or else they don't exist. And that's why we should not leave our funds in any exchanges because when something went wrong we can't do anything about it and they will just leave you a piece of advice and some flowery words that would eventually wither without even getting a single cent.

I'm just using certain exchanges. Only if a token from bounty campaigns is traded in a different exchange, then I open a new account in that exchange and sell that token. Otherwise, I usually only trade on five different exchanges.
Damn! i just had the worst experience with Bleutrade exchange 
transferred some funds to the Bleutrade Classic version to trade, i couldn't execute any sell order because the exchange keeps reporting API error, then i swap to the Malta Version, there i couldn't access any funds in my wallet because even the wallet could not display available funds, to make things worse their telegram admin could not render any solution except re-direct complaints , luckily withdrawal still works

I don't have an account with changelly but I am particularly looking forward to Ethershift because I am a participant of the project. But I don't know if they are in anyway connected with Changelly or similar in usage. Until the platform is fully operational.

We should aware and anticipate when we are using centralized exchanges since there is a significant possibility of being hacked. We don't own the private keys, then we don't own the money should explain about it clearly. In other hands, Decentralized exchanges development are lagged behind of the cryptocurrencies space. DEX's that fits with cryptocurrencies nature still have some major problem that makes the community won't use it.
Cryptopia, The latest hacked centralized exchange and some of the users claimed Binance force KYC verification should urge the community to fix the problem and find a relieving solution. I hope those sad events could make the decentralized exchange and atomic swap development have a significant improvement.

I am still using exchanges such as Binance, Bittrex and Kucoin to trade. Changelly is good, but it doesn’t support some of the coins. I believe if we don’t store coins in the exchanges, we should be safe from the hack.
from the three exchanges that you wrote, I prefer to continue to have assets in the binary exchange place, because at present high trading volumes only occur in binary and only binance which has very fast coin price movements, from rapid price movements that will give you have a lot of profits. This is truly the best way to protect your funds without keeping them in your account. I think that Changenow, in this case, will be the best option for the service without registration. I use them now and find this service very convenient.
There are many exchanges today and unfortunately most of them are not good. They usually want to cut our money. For exampe HitBTC or Yobit. They have too expensive withdraw fees. I had to use yobit lately and they took 0.0012 BTC for my withdraw. When i send BTC from my wallet i usually pay 0.000075 BTC. Also i am having some problems with LA Token and i would recommend you to not work with them. But i also work with Bittrex and i am very happy with them, best exchange for me.
Hitbtc and yobit has very well known as the the worst exchange site in the world. Remember how hitbtc was creating the limitation to create an order, both of these exchange sites are very bad exchange sites at this moment dude

Yeah, there are absolutely tons of issues with the centralized exchange, hacking, manipulation, bot, and so on. But I don't think many people will soon move to the decentralized exchange because of the lack of features and some stability issues. I have not met any decentralized exchange that I can use as comfortable as I use the centralized one. And this might be sounded weird but even though it is decentralized I think we still need a customer support in those DEX.
No e-mail,NO phone number,No profile,No password is only happen in the Decentralized exchange but i don't think which is most safest exchange. Because i got hacked 890$ in forkdelta exchange so we never safe in DEX exchange. ethershift and tokenmom both of dex exchange? I think those very new exchange. Still without IDEX i am not going to use another DEX exchange.

Usually in that exchanges you had mentioned and like ether and forkdelta only has low in volume which is you're limited in buying or selling your coin. And several of these were cheat coin where doesn't list in any big exchanges such as binance and kucoin. However, it's still comfortable to use and might be profitable if you already accustomed in that kind of exchanges.

I do feel you but not being hacked the problem that i face before is that i deposit in a coin from my wallet even after a few days i still did not see the coin in my exchange wallet which is a heache.
