Im never good at trading ,always lose money but how about those who lose money due to exchange been hacked? Well thanks to new exchanges that only support p2p ,no profiles ,no emails ,no passwords, they are the safest out there ,this is why I'm so hooked with changelly since 2016 ,so use this kind of exchanges and you are safe from hacks and phishing who is with me? Other exchanges that are like changelly are ethershift and tokenmom ,there might be others too
You absolutely right. Never trust any exchange and never keep your money at the exchanges. Even dont trust software wallets and websites. Buy a hardware wallet and keep your coins there. Just use the exchanges for buy and sell and after the trade transfer your coins.

I am also do not like the idea that someone has control over my funds, and you are actually losing it by depositing on every centralised exchange. Thats why I prefer to stay decentralised and to use IDEX or Forkdelta.

Well, good for you but those kind of exchanges are not for trading as you said in fact, I think that anyone wants to do fast exchange coin for another (small amount)would use this p2p exchange better because it will save him/her some money due to normal exchanges withdrawal fees and trades fees. But the majority of people are using exchanges for trading or when they want to exchange a big amount of coins, with a big amount of coins normal exchanges are better in fees because the withdrawal fees are fixed number whether you withdraw 1 BTC or 10 BTC but with p2p they usually have % fees.
When I want to exchange a coin for another I always do the calculation and go with the best option no need to be afraid of hacking etc, it is just a fast exchange I will not store any coins anywhere.

As for me, I use both centralized and decentralized exchanges. In some aspects, especially trading volume/ liquidity, and also speed of operation, DEX usually have setbacks. I only use DEX when I can connect my wallet via a web 3 browser like metamask or sometimes create new wallet on the DEX. For centralized exchanges,  I trade greatly on binance and kucoin.

Unfortunately, hack issues are really annoying. Thieves are finding new ways to steal someone's money. But this kind of people is in everywhere.

I think you shouldn't give up and work hard, watch the market, and learn how should you trade. And move away from SCAM exchanges.

It seems to me there is no difference decentralized exchange or not.The main thing that were the volumes on the exchanges.Your wallet can be kept safe.To do this, you can simply create a new wallet and transfer the into it assets that need to be sold.

I remember MtGox case after reading your post and it is still not clear till today what happened to lost bitcoins except sold ones with over the counter. Dexs are future of current generation of exchanges and sooner or later we will be able to use exchanges without identifying ourselves. Hacked exchanges usually send bulk emails to customers about cracked hash data. It is responsibility of customer to listen an advices and chainging required input details.

I am sure they will take good care of our assets. They also don't want the good name of their exchange to be polluted. If their exchange is hacked, they will definitely fix it as soon as possible. Like Cryptopia. I am sure our assets are still safe.

for markets that use P2P I only use changer but I use it to exchange digital currency not from crypto to be exchanged for crypto currencies such as perfect money, but for Crypto P2P trading is a less appropriate place

If the hackers will be the task to crack some particular exchange or get private keys of a certain person, they will perform it, so do not overestimate and underestimate anything in this world.

Decentralized exchanges are good at not knowing personal information, but it is difficult to encounter decentralized exchanges that work normally today. Why do not we use them if they are secure and reliable? If you look at the new ICOs, you will see that the majority is about exchange, but which of them is decentralized?

If you use only few exchanges then it means you have little alternate coins
I do not mean etherum ripple or stellar

I mean upcoming altcoins such as iagon or hyperbridge

Which would make you use other exchanges

I also don't use a lot of exchange. some of not so famous exchange got hacked and just disappeared or just having a very low volumes. Some are just collecting your data and turned to be a scam exchange.
I just stick with some exchange and wait for my token to be listed there.

It is surprising to observe how the exchanges that were previously quite popular, for example hotbit, turn into garbage on which it becomes difficult to sell some coins. I faced enormous difficulties for the last time, and I will never use this exchange again.

I fully support you, colleague, decentralized exchanges - this is the best thing that could happen to the world of cryptocurrencies in the past two or three years. I also prefer to use them whenever possible. The most convenient in this respect is the IDEX, although it is not completely decentralized, but a hybrid option.

With your point about hacking activity its really hard to trust centralized exchange nowadays as they really prone to attacks, we  just need to be more
active reviewing each website/exchange that we are going to entrust our money, and if possible after your activity from that particular exchange withdraw
your funds right away and keep it inside your wallets, just use the service and pay the fee then keep your assets safe inside your own wallets.

The reason behind we use binance and the centralized exchanges is because of the volume it offers, of course we can use the forkdelta and all other that doesn't require registration but then you can't just do what you can do with exchanges that has huge volume. What I can probably just do in forkdelta is dump a token that isn't listed anywhere, buy cheap tokens on it and then move out and back to Chinese exchanges.

Unfortunately, but centralized exchanges are very dangerous, no matter how many people trade on them. For this reason for a long time already I have started trading mainly on decentralized exchanges, now I spend the most time on IDEX.

Exchanges always intend to give the best support to the userbase. In between due to some sort of technical breach, issues arise and the same leads to massive loss of funds. Rather than using funds with exchanges on centralized platform it is always good to use them only by the time of trading and take it back to the wallet with the private key in our hands for better security.
