I strongly agree that 2017 is indeed a very good year for the crypto world. Because that's when the price of all crypto rises and can't be dammed. Different in 2018. Very low crypto prices, indeed this is very painful.

Yes it is true. 2017 is the best year for crypto because the price of bitcoin and altcoin increase so high. And many ico are successful and many investors get much profit from ico and also bounty hunter get rich from bounty. But now... The market falling down and many ico scam many project dont pay the bounty hunter. Many ico token after into the market the price is very down than ico price.

Every year will always be the best year for crypto, but that of course depends on the way you see it. The thing with a lot of people is that they look at bullish trend as just the only opportunity the market brings, but they usually do not consider the fact that the bear market also bring about opportunities to accumulate and that to me sound like a year giving smart people pretty good bargain to invest in a project they believe in its long term and be patient knowing that at some point, the market will most definitely recover. It is a market, so that is certainly something that will happen for sure.

Statistics, data and history shows that 2017 is the best year for Cryptos because the market price of this year is the most expensive record for Crypto market history in which many lives were change into prosperity specially to those who believed in crypto during the early days that it was introduced. Hopefully, history may repeat itself as many people are now losing confidence of this investment.

I agree, but there will be another great year. When, we don't know yet.

But to put this in perspective. Bitcoin price last April 2017 was only around $2,000. At current price of bitcoin at $6,000. That is still a 200% gain vs last year's price - 18+ months ago.

This only means that either btc still has room to go down OR it will still continue to go up and sustain the current price.

. We don't know what will happen in next year, maybe it'll be much better than 2017. Although 2018 is not a really good year for crypto market but I don't think 2019 will be the same. Maybe in 2019, all cryptocurrencies in crypto market will rise to new ATH price especially BTC and ETH Cheesy

I think the 2nd wave of millionaires were made this recent bubble. The first wave was made when btc hit $2,000.

I agree with your last sentence. Thinking that we will never see something like that again is pointless. Even now there are many very good coins on the market costing much less than their potential. I bet some traders become millionaires in these very days, but more of them will become ones in the near future. Actually this huge drop in price of all crytpocurrencies during this year provided opportunities for the newcomers to make some good profits. If all the prices were at the level of December 2017 right now, it would be hard to say how much time it will take for the prices to rise significantly. Well, with today's level it's not that hard. I mean it could take years, but now we are talking months. Of course no one can tell how much it will take exactly, and I may be wrong in my assertions too, but I think there is a huge probability of nearing to their previous ATH for all established cryptos in the upcoming months.

Yes, the year 2017 was really a good year for bitcoin and Investors... The bull run gave birth to a lot of publicity for bitcoin and many more new investors. I think this is why the 2018 has been really slow and steady.. A correction.

IMO, the best is yet to come. The user-base is constantly increasing on a month-to-month basis, irrespective of all the uncertainties. The peak valuation may be achieved sometime during the 2020s, if I am not wrong.

Well, it wasn't just those months, the entire 2017 was great.
In fact, I would say that the months before the end of the year were great because the growth was more stable and sustainable.
Yes, it was going up and down like it usually does, but the overall it was steady and strong.

Then, the huge price spike was, of course terrific. But there was no way that could go on and here we are almost a year later with a dead market.
It would great if we all cashed out during then, but most people just kept on trading and buying into icos without cashing out.

Me, I ended up cashing out just enough to make back what I had put into it, so at least I am even.
But I should have sold it all and then bought back in now, that would have been the smartest move.

As far as if that is the all time high, I don't think so, crypto has even more room to grow and I believe we will start seeing progress soon.

We can not be sure of that. Although Bitcoin's prices have risen sharply and many people have become wealthy, many now bankrupt. In my opinion, that certainly is not the best time. The best time is when its price is its true value and it will be stable in the long run.
