Anyone know the approximate amount the weekly dividend from AM-PT shares are?

I counted around 0.6% a couple of weeks ago, I guess...

Well my shares would get off Bitfunder the second he even considers it.

There are motions up to do exactly that:

https://btct.co/security/ASICMINER-PT (motions tab)

If you have shares please vote on all three motions ASAP.  They expire soon and I'd like them to pass.

Cheers.

Bitfunder: https://bitfunder.com/asset/G.ASICMINER-PT

It's currently about .1-.3 cheaper per share to buy through that PT than any other source.  Not sure why this is, but if you are buying, you might consider that.

And why no one is mentioning that Burnside takes a percentage of the dividends while DeadTerra doesn't?

He doesn't... yet :-)

I checked that asicminer is legit
I checked that bitfunder is legit. However, as a precaution I saw that bitfunder publishs all private address from everyone that own stocks.
I trust bitcoin of course.

However, will asicminer recoqnize me as the owner of asicminer stock if owner of bitfunder run away? Do they make that kind of statement?

BitFunder  is OK....    if I do .....

^ that's what I would recommend if you are starting out. Simple as that. I use BTCT.co for 3 reasons: 1. cold storage so even if the site gets hacked they can bounce back. and 2. the domain isn't a .com and is based offshore away from potential US regulation/seizure  3. It's run by a very reputable person on this forum and the shares are paid every wednesday.

There are many ways to buy shares good luck with your stocks!   Cool

I would suggest bitfunder very highly. No management fees

There is no real reason for you to own "actual" shares over pass-throughs.  I own both and feel very confident that there is minimum risk in owning pass through shares.  Buying a couple here and there and having them transfered out to friedcat has to be a huge headache for him.  I like that DeadTerra set up a high limit for that.
There is a slight advantage to getting dividends faster, but yeah.

There are no management fees on the BTC-TC one either.  There was a 90 day hiatus put on them and there are currently motions up to extend the hiatus indefinitely.

I agree that Friedcat is overworked, but having a 250 share limit for withdrawal is probably more about DeaDTerra's sanity.  He has quite a few PT's to keep track of.  Wink

Cheers.

Conversly, you can buy shares on the passthroughs after knowing what the dividend will be... Not that this is real advantage (maybe it is?   Huh

What do you mean by transfer the shares out?

Also I see many names

G.ASICMINER-PT

Then ASICMINER-PT

Which one is the real ASICMINER The seller of eruptor blade?
Actual ASICMiner shares are not listed in the exchange and is managed by friedcat directly. You can change the shares bought from the passthrough to 'actual' shares if you're afraid bitfunder / btct.co running away. Read https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/howto-tradingbuyingselling-asicminer-shares-overview-and-comparison-188550 please.
