OP, how can you confirm that you wont die until bitcoin reaches atleast 50k, their is no guarantee of anyones life about next second what will happen. and you wanted to see the price minimum to 50k which is i dont think is possible until some major issues happen to fiat currency so that full world shift from fiat currency to bitcoin.

I do not think the big inflation will happen soon. The inflation is very low at the moment. A 1% interest rise will reduce the inflation rate.

On what facts or theories do you base this conclusion on inflation? This is a huge price and it will not happen over night just like that. Can you explain a bit more?

Not likely, the bitcoin price is really hard to reach the target of 50k for each bitcoin, for the moment is a dream for us if bitcoin reaches 1k or 2k USD so I doubt that for this decade bitcoin will reach 50k.
We can't know if where the price of bitcoin can go in coming time maybe after some 50 to 60 years, but for now as you said we would be really lucky if we could reach atleast 2k to 5k near future, that value would be a lot for us too.

If the bitcoin rises 50% a year, in 20 years, it will rise 3300 times, the bitcoin price will be $2 million each.
We also have to look at 50% dump on price before rather than just looking at 50% rise every year. I am sure bitcoin will never reach 50k because total supply after all bitcoin got mine is also in bigger amount (in millions) and total market of online payment processor is like in few billion annualy so we may see 3k to 5k$ per coin, which is quite realistic figure. So far, since early 2013, the price of bitcoin has risen about 25 times. So that is more than 100% every year.
In the next 5 to 10 years, the price could double every year, but after that, the price will rise much slower.
I am not patient enough to wait for $50,000 so I would be happy with taking less money.

Yeah its an unrealistic value to dream off, I don't think bitcoin has that high potential that it can ever touch the price of $50k, maximum it can go to $10k not more then that.
We need a miracle for this price to happen. Interesting headline, and thread is so old that if you see where are we after this time, it will be hard to get to 50k with this speed. I`m not saying its impossible for bitcoin to worth so much "one day", like for 50 years, maybe 100, if bitcoin survive until that time.

We just can try to predict and guess the future, bitcoin have opportunity to make some changes in world, and with that changes price can go very high. Its how we think when we feel optimistic, I have pessimistic moments also. Its gambling, if there is a chance for 50k, then is a chance for 1 dollar as well.

I also want to the Bitcoin value to be that high but I do not want to wait to long because I am not patient enough. I am sure that if the valie was $10k I would already sell all my Bitcoin.
I would bet that $50K/BTC will be after 2 reward-per-block halvings (~2020 year).
Ha ha, I love this post, seeing where we're at after the last halving. I think quite a few people gave up on bitcoin, but the hardcore people are still here and strong.Don't think we're getting to the 50K benchmark anytime soon, if at all. I'm pro-bitcoin all the way, but there would need to be some serious whales buying a lot of coin for that to happen. It could happen if someone like Warren Buffett stepped in and bought, but that's not going to happen.
I see it is nearly impossible to happen except if bitcoin become one of the main used currencies in the world and I do not think bitcoin can handle that huge number of txs now.
and it really might become like that to be honest, i hope that it is going to be even bigger in the future and make me really huge profit
We where lucky if the price will hit at 50k usd but for now as my speculation its hard to think that the price of bitcoin will hit at 50k value..

Well just lets hope that we can reach that value for bitcoin before we die.. but it can still happen in early stage if bitcoin will release locally in every country that more stores are accepting bitcoin as payment.. and i think if it will happen more people will attracting to buy bitcoins and the price of bitcoin will increase more fast.
how on earth do you think bitcoin will reach 1 million per coin? the money has to come from somewhere. it would give bitcoin a market cap of 21,000,000,000,000 if all coins are mined
