Unless you time travel into the future, and when I say future I mean 50 years from now, you could simply just be dreaming of that. I am not being a contrarian to your thoughts / wishes but better keep your expectations reasonably. I'd be happy if 20 years from now, bitcoin is at $5000. And at that point, the price would have stabilized in such a way that it won't fall off or skyrocket too much.
Its mean you will be live long life. Its really funny to me, because if you are realistic man than you know the day will never come in hurry, but i also with you, but not to die until, i have only wish, the day will come very soon when bitcoin might be come at 50k = 1 BTC.
Before bitcoin goes to 50k im pretty sure you are already 6 feet under and turned into ashes. Bitcoin will need centuries to achieved the price of 20k and 50k is so impossible.
We all be dead when the price of bitcoin would reach that point and the future generations would witness that event or even our grandsons. $50k is way too high it isnt realistic to speculate such price. As of now of august 2016 bitcoin price didnt even surpass the $700 price how much more in $50k? Its too impossible but who knows? we dont know the future.

i think its possible that bitcoin reach to $50k but it will be take too long time like 40 or 50 years and it can be possible in 1 or 2 year if all people of the world get awareness about bitcoin and all people start to buy bitcoin then its possible sooner. It will be 50K in 2025 IMO

I think 50K will be reached if the success of bitcoin and our support for bitcoin continued these 10 years without any break or without any tragedy, in the last few years we have saw a bigger increase in the price of bitcoin which is not stopped and is on its way to increase more, as soon bitcoin reach to more people its value will increase.

Seems a bit too insane to every occur, the market will stick around what it is at and float at, lets say 550-610 range for the next couple months.

Bitcoin can achieve that price some day in future but no one knows when that exactly time will come, and no one is hoping to see that price and will be satisfied even if it touches $2k in future.

it is not impossible , many people was think in 2009 ago when bitcoin created bitcoin will not woth even $100 and even worthless nothing can do with bitcoin etc , but you can see by yourself bitcoin hit $1200+ in 2013 .from worthless to worthy , and current $500 price are really possible to hit $50k!

When people's saving are to be confiscated due to the banking crisis to help the bail out, people will buy the bitcoin.

50k will never happen. When bitcoin reaches 50k$, that simply means USD will be worthless by then. (0.00002btc = 1$) USD will lose value over time, as everything but it will never be worthless as long as USA is there.

seriously though, we know neither when you will die, nor when (or if) bitcoin will reach 50k
that being said, I do think it's likely bitcoin will reach $50k+ in the reasonably near future, as long as we can agree on how to solve the on-chain scaling and keeping it decentralized and up to date to keep competeitve compared to altcoins.
At this rate, bitcoin is having massive problems and people are sticking their head in the sand and if that keeps going on, an altcoin will replace bitcoin. Either that, or in the best case bitcoin will fork.
