You have to be in some sort of help to other. Your posts must be insightful and analytical so that people can find them beneficial. Little by little, these contribution will help you earn merit.

Well doing different activities which are helpfull to other members will earn you merit points. There are no other way as far as i know. Doing activities which are not helpful won't help you.

The key is to make some quality posts. Instead of looking for the merit points you need to find some interesting topics. That will definitely bring the merits.

Yes, rather… actually, it seems it didn’t even matter at all what we wrote here. He did a quick "veni vidi vici", got the merit for the OP (God knows why), and changed the motto to "I wish not to look back", bye bye, arrivederci. Quite a good bounty for two lines (pun intended)…

Edit: 4 replies in a row below from four different accounts with the same activity and created 2 minutes apart from each other ... easy to guess what they are ...

Similar cases, likely from the same bot/farm batch found here: Negative Year, Positive Future

A fellow shitposter has already merited him for this thread. Christmas has come early.

And what was his first post after getting that 1 merit?

~ of course he quoted 1 million lines of text~

I think that you should first of all enjoy what you are doing. If you want merit, then I can reward you!
Just give him advice please ,  don't spoiled him with your merit. We all know that it's hard to get even a single merit so please be considerate to the others and maybe that 1 merit may deserve other user also.

Looking over your posting history, one of the likely main issues is that your posts tend to be rather shallow in content.
That's putting it mildly.  OP makes generic, garbage shitposts like this:

You can read different opinion from others and draw your conclusion from it, so you will have different perspective on your decision making and understand more about Bitcoin.
....which add nothing to any discussion, and sentiments like the above have been expressed thousands of times in spam threads in every spam section on the forum.  That's the problem.  Fortunately for OP, someone gave him a mercy-merit, or he bought the merit he got.  I have little doubt that's the last one he's going to earn if he keeps making garbage posts--and I'm sure he will keep making them.   Shitposters don't want to improve, they just want merits the easy way.  That's why they make threads like this, which are an annoying combination of whining and begging.

create interesting posts, help people, make interesting reviews and you will be able to restore your status
Ah yes, the usual generic answer given by members who've usually earned zero merits so far.  Glad you stopped by.

I looked at your post history to see if I could award any merits, but I quit fairly soon. Here are my two tips.

- Don't use all caps for titles. I'm not sure why I opene this thread, as I usually ignore the all caps titles.
- Don't make full quotes. It clogs up the thread, and it is very rare for it to be useful. This isthe reason you didn't get any merits from me when I looked at your post history.

Ok, so you got your first merit for the OP, so mission accomplished, or is it?  Is a single merit the sole objective, or is the idea to move on from there?

Looking over your posting history, one of the likely main issues is that your posts tend to be rather shallow in content. Giving more thought and research to your posts could raise the stakes, but content matters and, for now, your posts kind of fall short in that area. You really don’t seem to post much at all, which is fine, but if you move on to doing so thanks to that merit you received today, and motivated by enrolling in a campaign, it would be wise to work on the content side, in detriment of the quantity factor. That will give your account better chances of being around in the long run.

I have being trying all possible best to make it work on having just a merit but it seems everything not working and my account is more than 5months old.

Please what other methods can I use to achieve this because I'm about to give up?

STOP THINKING ABOUT MERIT

You need to align your internal perspective/behavior in order for your to change.  If you keep on thinking about how to earn a merit, then you will tire yourself posting for something that you think a quality post and if that post does not earn a single merit, then you will get frustrated.

If you will just read, read, read for your to learn and grow then post to contribute genuinely, you will be surprised that some of your posts will earn merit (even though you think that the posts are not merit-worthy).  Aside from that, there will be joy in your part because your intention is just to help and no frustration about not getting a merit will come into you.

Post on different sections of the forum. Don't limit yourself to one board.

Try not to post on megathreads that have no point in discussing the topic any further because it's already answered countless times.

Here are some topics that might help you in getting a merit or two.

Guide for getting + merit
Newbie's Guide to getting merit
TMAN's guide to getting merit
Motivation thread for users that can't get merit because they aren't good in english

You shouldn't give up because of merit. You need to work hard and try to contribute to this forum, then someone will give you merit. Like always try to make an informative post about cryptocurrency, avoid spam and this types of posts also should be avoided! Even you can buy the Copper member tag to treat like a Jr member. Good Luck.

There's no method in getting merits here. I suggest not to try to hard otherwise you will just post garbage or you might force yourself to plagiarize for the sake of having that 1 merit. Just be yourself and comments on topic that you are familiar with. You can also do some research first before posting but don't copy and paste. Goodluck.

If you are very eager for merit then apart from making quality post you can figure out a problem that the forum is facing and suggest or do something about it, if it catches attentions of senior members here they might give you a merit.

I think there is no secret about it rather than make a contributory post to the forum and members. If you make a thread that is useful, after people finish reading, you might be lucky to get merit from the reader.
I agree, merit was given depends on our post by other people. Actually you dont need to stress yourself to have it. Just construct a good and high quality post which can see people worth it to give merit. You are new here. Better to study more and read articles about bitcoin and about the merit system.
