With a big player like PayPal finally serious about crypto and want to be the pioneer on the bridge between the real business with crypto, I think the bullish trend will continue in the long term. Any setback or bearish will just a temporary. That hasn't include DeFi projects which also a strong fact in the long run of bullish for crypto in the future. You won't bet on it but I am.

PayPal is planning to implement crypto payment, that's not a bad news at all and we already have DeFi projects making Ethereum bullish this days.. that's two major news that can trigger bullrun soon but..... Don't make a bet on this, nothing might probably happen, actions speaks louder than words, maybe if PayPal actually get this done then, just maybe .......
paypal has successfully integrated the crypto currency system into their system, and has done the news that Paypal is able to save Bitcoin, of course this is extraordinary, mass adoption continues, Hold your BTC
Decentralized finance projects don't make Ethereum bullish. We knew that Ethereum would make bullrun during Ethereum 2.0. I didn't know that successfully PayPal integrated the cryptocurrency. That's how cryptocurrency future is more valuable than we thought. Still I'm confused about what the security problem will be, after this PayPal integrated.

The last news that I heard about this is that PayPal will enable its users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies through a mobile payment service, and to implement this idea, it has already entered into an agreement with the Paxos blockchain startup.

Interesting, now companies big or small are aware and know that cryptocurrencies are increasingly in demand. Of course they have to move faster than the others in order to really reap the big profits.

Big companies know how to make big profits. They are looking for ways to work on trending things so that they can reach more people faster. The popularity of cryptocurrency is bringing big companies like paypal. This will allow cryptocurrency to reach a larger number of people who did not know about cryptocurrency for so long. Cryptocurrency adoption requires large companies that have huge sales every day, such as Amazon. If Amazon accepts crypto as payment, so where do you think the price of Bitcoin will go? Bitcoin can go at a price we haven't imagined so far. So the integration of paypal alone will not result in anythin super big.

The main thing is that the cryptocurrency market is already growing and the prices of cryptocurrencies are growing and this is at least something, so then we just need to hope and believe that these positive news will continue to help the cryptocurrency market grow to new heights.

At first I thought that the highest thing PayPal can do is do build it's own crypto coin but yesterday while surfing the web it seems PayPal is targeting Bitcoin, they aren't planning to go separate blockchain, this is a big news
Paypal doesn’t seem old school. It is the one to follow the trend. So sooner or later it was going to step foot in the crypto world. Many big corporations, businesses, money giants and companies may despise bitcoin a little, but everyone wants a piece of it. No ones going to give up on making profits be it centralized system or decentralized system.

Seeing the positive approach of paypal towards crypto currency is not surprising, but I would like to see how this money giant tries to bend the technology to its own will and tries to control it.

It’s been more than 2 years since people have been dragging paypal’s name into this market. There’s always hype and fake news running in the market about paypal preparing to enter the digital crypto market and then the officials’ tweet about the same not being true. The same happened with ripple a couple of times.

There were rumours that paypal was planning on using XRP which created the hype among people and boosted the prices a bit, but it was later revealed by paypal that no such statement was made by them. To the honest, the whole community runs on rumours and hypes so be careful about what you listen or rather whom you listen to.

I see that almost all service sites have received crypto. By default they accept BTC, BCH and Ethereum.
I guess you meant major services but I am not seeing amazon is accepting cryptocurrencies yet. Only if amazon kind of frequently using services accepting cryptocurrencies, then we can be sure about reaching the level of "cryptos in mainstream payment" will be possible. I guess when BTC will be getting some new ATH, it will start happening.

This will make it easy for PayPal users. Previously they only received Fiat payments. I rarely use PayPal because I receive payments using Fiat. I see that almost all service sites have received crypto. By default they accept BTC, BCH and Ethereum.

Then you don't like the fact that no one wants to engage in cryptocurrency, then you don't like that someone starts doing it. Maybe you should already decide on your desires and not pour out negativity on everything you see?

Paypal accepting cryptos is just a rumour I guess because none of the reputed cryoto news platform mentioned about this.Crypto market is always unpredictable so be ready to face the consequences before investing.
It is already been out and written that Paypal has indeed a plan on making a crypto counter part of their platform. But I don't think that it would be as easy as they think, just look at what Facebook Libra has become, it has been a years since the rumor came out, and it has conducted an airdrop already but still no progress in they devs.

Let's not rely on PayPal taking over crypto payment, libra tried years back and nothing good comes out of it, if PayPal really starts accepting crypto as means of payment it will open door to more crypto adoption but don't get your hopes too high
Facebook was making their own cryptocurrency by the means of Libra and that would have given them a lot of power in the market and maybe the monopoly that they are targeting by buying companies here and there. But PayPal accepting payments in crypto means a lot for the mass adaption that people are talking about from a lot of time as it will encourage people to buy crypto and PayPal will definitely be having a guide to teach the people about the cryptocurrencies in general.
Crypto is too volatile to be used as payment method, im not sure if paypal is willing to take that risk, unless it's gonna be a third party thing. Steam used to accept bitcoin as payment method but they removed it later on because it's volatile. If paypal will ever make a token i think it's gonna be a stablecoin since alot of people here still have doubts about stablecoins, maybe paypal can fill in that gap.

Until now I have not heard any information about this issue, it seems they are having some problems and will postpone it. Like Libra has been delayed this year because of legal issues

Paypal would definitely get it done. Many of the payment processor are already into buying and selling crypto and Paypal would not stay behind. With paypal letting users buy crypto, it would be easier for a large group of people to buy crypto with their bank account/salary. This would be a positive thing for crypto adoption as many people are still struggling to buy crypto due to the hassle involved. There are many dapps in the past that has made Ethereum's network congestive but had no impact on price, the current Defi boom seems to be similar. Though ETH 2.0 is what we are expecting to boost the price of ETH.
If paypal will ever consider using crypto as payment they might consider using a stable coin or create their own chain, BTC is too volatile to use as of now, and as for selling and buying crypto there is a lot of reputable exchanges out there that can offer better security.
maybe paypal will create their own cryptocurrency, it will add their reputation as digital payment provider. integration between  bitcoin or cryptocurrency with paypal will be good combination that will bring new impact to crypto market and also be a pioneer for digital payment acceptance in the world.

Its too early to adopt because of this news but when Paypal makes a big move then that is the best time to enter, though if you have a higher risk tolerance then do it. Investing on the news is the best actually, this is the common law on investing if there's a hype news enter early.

More good news to come but I also agree that we need more actions that the hype words just like on Dodgecoin right now, which is full of hype. Don't listen to that easily so you wont get trap on top, be careful on your investments and study first every project and statement.

The more people will be frustrated with them if they are not going to actually give it a go for this endeavor.

They realize that people are already moving to crypto because of their policy like dispute of payments which the money goes back to the buyer and sellers sent the product without getting it back after the dispute. Scammers are taking advantage of this PayPal feature which is why people are using BTC.

They will be left behind with their old system if they are not going to take this opportunity to change their ways of doing things.

The only concern is PayPal team may decides to back off on this project later, but if PayPal can successfully do it as said, then this will bring more bull run to cryptocurrency market, probably with this, Ethereum and top altcoins will pump more  soon.

That's the issue, paypal may backoff at last. Just like how Facebook is 'feet dragging' with Libra, due to regulatory issues. It will be a big bang if PAYPAL embeds crypto at last, will give more crypto exposure and entrance to millions also fostering crypto to go mainstream.
