If PayPal wants to implement that kind of service, I think they can because they have all the resources to make it happen. But are you sure about that information, is that reliable? or just gossip, Because as I remember Paypal was backed out in the Calibra project because of many problems involving crypto and other legal scrutiny, thats why I doubt that information. so for now, just wait and see, for what will happens next.

PayPal is planning to implement crypto payment, that's not a bad news at all and we already have DeFi projects making Ethereum bullish this days.. that's two major news that can trigger bullrun soon but..... Don't make a bet on this, nothing might probably happen, actions speaks louder than words, maybe if PayPal actually get this done then, just maybe .......
The Paypal news I think is just a rumor and I didn't read articles from trusted sources telling that they will implement it.

With regards to the DEFI projects of Ethereum, I believe that this will take a long time but they are already in the process of developing it. Holding a bit of BTC and ETH would be fine though just like me. I'm holding a bit of ETH and most of my portfolio is on BTC. Just don't expect too much in these kind of news spreading in the internet.

Maybe so. This is why after the slight bullish trend the crash begun. For all we know its just a rumor and those who bought the news now are regretting selling their BTC for a lower price. Much like getting robbed without even a knife to their necks.  We all know they hate BTC since the time it exists we can't just expect them to change their thought about it and join the club.

I am seeing this PayPal cryptocurrencies payment project like what we have last year on Facebook coin. It might not be actualize soon. I believe that we still have long time to go on this.
I also agree with you, surely they will have a lot of difficulties implementing it. Because it will be like Libra, it will have a lot of legal difficulties and it will take a lot of time in the future for their ideas to be implemented.

This is quite interesting to see and how serious is Paypal for this adoption.

https://www.financemagnates.com/cryptocurrency/news/is-paypal-poised-to-enter-crypto-all-you-need-to-know/

If they really on that determination and interest to take crypto well that it looks great. They have tried it before but it never happens and hoping for this turn they could finally make it. This could actually be helping them out and still be competent knowing the fact that crypto adoption is getting stronger.

Why not OP? If ever Paypal implemented this method Im sure it will favor most users cause insteaf of having or using paypal through our credit or debit card, we can spare some crypto instead.

But seeing this happen possibly may take some time to do. I know they are considering a lot of things if this will be good for their platform. But for me, when this occured then it will be a great innovation and addition to payment system.

It's better no to make move because PayPal is planning to implement crypto, just buy reliable coins and hold, also take advantages when available, as for those saying PayPal won't use Bitcoin because of volatility well I think that volatility is the reason why PayPal is interested, everyone is looking at volatility as the enemy whereas that volatility is what makes crypto very good

Paypal would definitely get it done. Many of the payment processor are already into buying and selling crypto and Paypal would not stay behind. With paypal letting users buy crypto, it would be easier for a large group of people to buy crypto with their bank account/salary. This would be a positive thing for crypto adoption as many people are still struggling to buy crypto due to the hassle involved. There are many dapps in the past that has made Ethereum's network congestive but had no impact on price, the current Defi boom seems to be similar. Though ETH 2.0 is what we are expecting to boost the price of ETH.
If paypal will ever consider using crypto as payment they might consider using a stable coin or create their own chain, BTC is too volatile to use as of now, and as for selling and buying crypto there is a lot of reputable exchanges out there that can offer better security.

Nothing is particular to expect a good run from this because we already knew the stand of Paypal ever since so i believe that there
are so many factor to consider before buying this idea that This market will Bullying just
because of this news.

Buy Bitcoin or your altcoins because you trust this and not because there is coming good news,
and about ethereum being bullish these days?what about now that this falls 220$ again?

Paypal are surely thinking of profit, it's a win-win situation for crypto and paypal, it will increase their revenue as crypto market is already a big market, it's a billion dollars market already so I guess that attracts them. As paypal introduces as to people, they will only become more popular, however, as to the expectation that it will result to the increase of price of bitcoin, maybe the hype will but when it's implemented, it will not happen right away.

Let us always remember that most of the pump in the market are just caused by hype, and when hype is over, everything will come back to normal..

The effect of this news if it will happen is for crypto market's long-term and that would certainly help to increase adoption.

Just evaluate what happens if PayPal implements cryptocurrency payments, do you think all the cryptocurrency traders will flock to PayPal who has a history of freezing the account without any reason for months? no way but then the users who are using PayPal to trade might consider it as an added advantage and nothing else and it will not make any huge waves in the price of bitcoin and it will not trigger anything in the market.

If Paypal has that thing in mind, I think implementing crypto payment in their app might be their priority by knowing that cryptocurrency or blockchain technology is now spreading fast as possible in a lots of companies. I think they won't hessitate applying it because I am sure they know the history of blockchain tech and they know for sure what benefits they could get.

This case is not new, many organisation and companies have been said to adopt crypto/blockchain as a payment system. Watford United England also did the same with sportbets.io, a casino platform using bitcoin as payment, Facebook wanted to implement Libra stable coin as payment and transaction system but obstructed by US laws, now PayPal is slowly adopting crypto payment system, this implementation may or may not in turn bring in more investors to crypto space because many feel cryptocurrency is still a scam.

It may not bring new investors which is a probability but it will foster more awareness which is most fundamental at this stage of crypto,  there is need for wider awareness to initiate adoption, when people speak of crypto adoption they tend to forget that very few percent of the world population are aware of crypto, so that awareness needs to be increased before any other thing.

At first I thought that the highest thing PayPal can do is do build it's own crypto coin but yesterday while surfing the web it seems PayPal is targeting Bitcoin, they aren't planning to go separate blockchain, this is a big news

if its true that they don't  want to create their own coins then its not only a big news but many investors will come to support bitcoin since PayPal is one of the most popular online payment use by this generation it will give more hype bitcoin currency as the owner of PayPal also believe in bitcoin future to use as a new currency world wide.

Paypal accepting cryptos is just a rumour I guess because none of the reputed cryoto news platform mentioned about this.Crypto market is always unpredictable so be ready to face the consequences before investing.
