Clueless!
hahahaha, you can still look good, just don't race for pinks.  it would still be a money printer.  sometime more sometime less.  right now it would pull around 3200 a month or more at 7.5 gh  around 5200 at 10.9 gh  I would give it a try if they weren't gone already.

Understood, but if it doesn't perform at full speed why be charged full price? Imagine if you bought 10? Expecting 100GH/S but only getting 70GH/s You've lost 3 full machines worth of power......

so what is the price gonna be when it hits the market?  most miners ive seen take 4 to six months for return ROI,  at 70 gh "at todays price and difficulty" it would give over $34,000.00 a month, at 100 gh it would be over $50,000.00 a month.
the stats Ide saw showed a day and a half at 7.5 gh the rest of the time it was cranking at 10 to 12 gh,  sounds good to me,  I would hope though that the kinks get worked out for a solid product, but as is, your making money. 3 months or less and your in the black.  that's a good deal no matter if you look at its low numbers or its high numbers.

There is speculation of when it will hit market as well.

If what i've read is correct the group buy here has over 100, more likely 120 on order\paid for. That alone is 1.08+Th/s in one order. From what i'm gathering there are 3 or 4 other orders of similar numbers. so you will not have long before difficulty rises sharply with between a third and at times double the current network has rate all launching within a few weeks of each other.

ROI will be around 6 months but it's a guessing game really as Dash difficulty adjusts after each 2.5 minute block.

I'll make a bet here..that baikal will have an equiv unit (might be half sized and half the elec use) ..anyway ballpark...before these units even ship

Just saying....and lets not forget pinidea...they also may just dump some units of equiv hash/power in the mix as well

anyway, I'm out....I'll roi on my bitmain stuff...but got slapped down hard by them (taking back miners to mine against seg witness and blowing up pow scrypt
to take over the network like they have bitcoin) ..... not to mention pre-mine before shipping

which could apply here......the units in the group buy may not be the units mining in data halls for the next 2 months

anyway, unlikely...but the group buy here and time line was too rich for my blood..but good luck to all (no dog in this fight)

I wouldn't do NEAR 3200 a month, if and when they release it, there will be hundreds of them running and the difficulty will go thru the roof.

ya that's true. my numbers though were for "right now" and it was just through a little mining calculator, definitely not any comprehensive formula.  so how much do you think it would go down?
I'm sure the price for this equipment will be north of $10,000.00 once it hits the market, if you can even get it.  Baikal's 1200 gh is $4,200 to $5,200 and I cant find anywhere its in stock.  supply and demand is a mother f*%#&er sometimes

it would be disappointing if it didn't work as advertised of course, who wouldn't be, but I'm a glass half full kind of guy, 7.5 gh is still bad ass

I would still be happy if this was how it worked. it still was cranking it out more than it wasn't.

So you would be happy to lose 30% of advertised hash rate?

They changed the IP address, you can monitor on the link below.

i'm still amazed it can't do a full week mining with an average of 10ghs.

Anyone able to confirm the 10 ghs?

I like your tagline.

Someone at Hashnest told me that the Chinese save bitcoin for the future but would use lite coin for the groceries.

I can live with that!

PS  Considering I only make 5% or 6% on my Roth, the ROI is a goldmine.  Life has treated you well my friend.

It's been up for 30+ hours straight.  Pretty sweet.  I hope that all the bugs have been worked out. about 280 bucks a day.

So 280 per day   drops to 70 a day by august 14  x 120 days = roi by Dec 14th

Maybe it is worth a shot.

Good luck to the brave ones out there.

Hi,

Are there any proofs for average perfomance?

So far its showing it does not average the advertised perfomance for more than a few hours.

what is this "brake pedal" you speak of?
Hi,

Are there any proofs for average perfomance?

after flying to china they posted 3 or 4 pictures, one poor picture of a miner, 2 pics of a monitor with some stats, and one picture that was redacted. they are some short videos somewhere linked in this thread.

seems like a long way to go for so little real info like long videos and tons more pics.

ps i have no dog in this fight. just watching how it goes down. best of luck folks.
