Afghanistan had their moments during the game, but in the end the Indians used their experience to gain the upper hand. At one point, India was struggling at 90/4. But then Suryakumar Yadav joined Hardik Pandya and was able to build a sizable fifth wicket partnership. And in the end there were fireworks from Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja. Apart from Fazalhaq Farooqi and Rashid Khan, the remaining Afghan bowlers failed to take wickets at crucial intervals. And I don't know why they included Naveen-ul-Haq in the playing XI. 180 target for a team like England, who are the defending champions was not enough. WI fielding was top class but Powel missing two catches behind the wickets might be the turning point of the game. Bairstow was very lucky against the WI there were a few occasions when he should have got out. His luck was in his side don't know how long will it keep him safe.
Yes ,you are right. But had to bowl good and they should defend that target. The fielding of West Indian team was not perfect and they did many mistakes. West Indian won the last series against South Africa and won the 4 out of 4 in 16 teams group stage.Now , the competition is tough and if West Indies win the next matches, it will qualify and we will see the huge team in Semi final. Not well performance from the start by Shivam Dube, even not only in batting, he also disappointed us in fielding. Rashid Khan's bowling performance against India in today's match was very good. Rashid Khan gave his best performance against India in today's match and bowled best due to which Indian team could not score much runs in today's match.
