It was not easy for the Afghanistan batsmen to stay at the crease against Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bhumrah. Both managed to pick up three wickets each. More importantly, Bhumrah conceded only 7 runs in 4 overs. And because of Bumrah's controlled bowling, India managed to win by a huge margin of 47 runs.

The strongest teams in Group 1 are India and Australia. Bangladesh and Afghanistan cannot be among the top 2 teams in the table. I am looking forward to watch India vs Australia match. No doubt this match will be very competitive. India will definitely be looking to avenge their ODI World Cup final defeat. Undoubtedly, India wants to be the champion of the T20 World Cup.

Afghanistan had their moments during the game, but in the end the Indians used their experience to gain the upper hand. At one point, India was struggling at 90/4. But then Suryakumar Yadav joined Hardik Pandya and was able to build a sizable fifth wicket partnership. And in the end there were fireworks from Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja. Apart from Fazalhaq Farooqi and Rashid Khan, the remaining Afghan bowlers failed to take wickets at crucial intervals. And I don't know why they included Naveen-ul-Haq in the playing XI. He always leaks a lot of runs.

Yes, you and everyone else is right on the fact that India will win today's match but we should also see the negative points that could be improved for the next matches that India will be playing.

Not well performance from the start by Shivam Dube, even not only in batting, he also disappointed us in fielding. But after too many tries, he got a chance again and again and it could be dangerous for the Indian team in the playoffs if they qualify because he is like a waste place in the playing 11.
