Sri Lanka is a top team in cricket game and played this game with good runs match and won. The Sri Lankan man cricket team is very famous world wide and watching their games is always enjoyable. From my side and very sorry for Netherlands. If won the match in Netherlands he had been losing all the previous matches. Sri Lanka played a fantastic match and won with some excellent runs for Netherlands would say Sri Lanka showed great skill and determination on the field securing a well deserved victory. Sri Lanka won by 83 runs and won the match. Charith asalanka is a very talented boy. Netherlands won the toss. Netherlands elected to batting first. The 38th match between Netherlands and Sri Lanka played at Daren Sammy national stadium. The best batting performance in the Sri Lanka man team was by charith asalanka scored 46 runs and 26 balls hitting 1 fours and 5 sixs. Sri Lanka won by 201 runs. This may be the first time in the history of cricket where a bowler has completed four overs of his spell but has not cost any runs in return. Lockie Ferguson managed to achieve such a record against Papua New Guinea yesterday. He only scored 24 balls out of 24 balls but not like that he picked up three wickets in 24 balls. I never thought that such things can happen in cricket and also in T20 format. After Lockie Ferguson's record yesterday, I think maybe the rest of the players can make the impossible possible. Lockie Ferguson's career best bowling might be another match in terms of wickets but he is the only record holder for what he has done in this match.
There is no doubt that Ferguson bowled well. And this is probably the first time in the history of the World Cup. Ferguson conceded no runs in four overs and took three wickets. There is no doubt that the New Zealand bowlers have bowled brilliantly in the last two matches.
However, New Zealand failed to qualify for the next round. I don't think it's a big achievement to win against weaker teams like Uganda and Papua New Guinea. This team is one of the two weakest teams in this year's World Cup. The New Zealand team lost badly against Afghanistan and West Indies in two important matches. New Zealand lost by perhaps a huge margin of 84 runs against Afghanistan. So even though New Zealand performed very well in the last two matches, it has no value.
New Zealand wickets are usually bouncing wickets where the ball falls on the wicket and the ball comes up above the waist, this is not the case with US wickets. Instead of blaming the condition they should be blamed for their performance because Australia India Bangladesh Afghanistan they qualified for the next round where New Zealand failed.
The New Zealand team managed to win only two matches against weak teams, the other two being defeats against West Indies and Afghanistan. New Zealand's worst defeat came against Afghanistan as the Afghanistan bowlers failed to understand the delivery. This year's World Cup was a tournament full of failures for the New Zealand team. New Zealand didn't qualify for the next round, so there is definitely something wrong with them. We didn't find the New Zealand team in the few matches they left in the beginning because the New Zealand team is not such a performing team. Maybe it was because this was the first time New Zealand played in American conditions that they did not perform as expected.
I would not agree with your point of view that because New Zealand did not played before in the United States, they lost the matches. If we see that this is the first time any ICC event is held in USA, so the pitch and conditions are new for every team. It is just how these teams react to the situation and adapt the situation.
Talking about the New Zealand's journey, they lost both of their initial matches with Afghanistan and the West Indies. Although they won the last two matches against the smaller teams (Uganda and P.N.G), but that does not matter much. Well they can say that if they had the matches with smaller teams first, then they could have idea about pitches and perhaps show a better performance against big teams. I think these are just excuses and New Zealand has to admit that their performance was not up to the mark in this WC.

USA will give tough time to all teams . It played well against Pakistan and won the match and it also gave tough time to Indian team but Indian team won the match due to great batting. South African team past performance is not good and they lost the series against West Indies and Now ,South Africa team has no quality players and both teams are of same level and match will be tough for both teams and no team is favorite in USA VS SA match. USA batters are looking in good form and USA made a good team for a first time and it took players from many countries and there are less players of USA originally. And USA teams has many big players and they will play good in this match and match will be very interesting and I will see the match ball to ball.
Almost everyone will agree with you that no doubt the USA team has been the most promising team among all the other new teams that we have witnessed in this World Cup and they have done really good to reach to the Super 8s.
Today is the day when unbeaten team South Africa is going to play against the United States of America. Until now they are unbeaten just because they have faced too many small teams and their group was too much easy as compared to other groups but sad for Sri Lanka that even they could not go to super 8s.
In their group there was Nepal, Netherlands, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka too. So, they easily qualified and now it is the time to see them against the United States of America and I think for sure they will win it again and still remain unbeaten after this match. The hosts will be willing to see their team go as far as possible in this tournament.

Nicholas Pooran scored almost 100 runs and it seems like that West Indies are the favourites in this World Cup as they are in super form.
I have not seen any other team in this format of cricket recently, who is so confident in each of their matches. They are one of the best teams to win this World Cup or least go in the finals of this competition.
Pooran was on a rampage he hit 8 sixes and 6 fours against Afghanistan and destroyed all their hopes. The only shortcoming was that he missed out on his century by only 2 runs. He got run out because of an unexpected direct throw from the boundary otherwise he would have got his first century in a T20WC. If WI plays in the same manner against the ENG, then the defending champions will be out of this tournament. The first game of the Super 8 will be played tomorrow between the USA and SA, if everything goes well the SA should win the match comfortably.
USA is performing much better than other teams in this T20 World Cup. Although we have seen strong teams lose in the past so today's match against South Africa will definitely have a strong enough attack to win. Although the South Africans are not as strong as they used to be at present, if they perform poorly against the US, they will lose Math. Team USA will try hard to beat South Africa in today's match and I think if they give it their all they will succeed. If the performance of USA team players is much better than South Africa, we can expect USA team to win today's match. But since South Africa team is experienced and more regular in their cricket game, they might be able to beat USA today.

That spell by Lockie Ferguson was simply unbelievable (4-4-0-3).
I don't think we will witness anyone beating this record in T-20 anytime soon if I dare to say then, at least not in our lifetime. It could be possible in associate cricket but not in the internationals. Even 6 sixes in an over looks doable and simple task when comparing 24 dots balls spell with 3 timber in a batting dominated format.
Technically no one can "beat" this record, as he conceded 0 runs from 4 overs. Others will be able to equalize, but doing better than this is theoretically impossible. With the ICC expanding the tournament to 20 teams, we may find incidents like this happening more often. Still, it is hard to believe that this Ferguson guy, who got whacked all around the park in the IPL a few months back is now performing so well for his national team. PNG still made a somewhat decent total of 78.
Well, in this WC, many bowlers got some juicy stats so anything is possible.

And the West Indies team has taken 218 runs for the first time in T20 World Cup in today's match, losing 5 wickets, they have really done an amazing batting performance in today's match. West Indies batsman Pooran batted on fire in today's match due to which he narrowly failed to score a century by just 2 runs which is very unfortunate for him. However, in today's match Afghanistan team lost by 104 runs Afghanistan batsmen have given a very disappointing batting performance today. NZ Team gave an excellent performance after losing two consecutive match in previous match they dominated on Uganda just 40 runs while today match news Zealand restricted Papua new Guinea on 78 runs excellent bowling by new Zealand bowlers. Lockie Ferguson created history in t20 world cup by taking 3 wickets and 4 overs doing maiden this is the second time in t20 international any bowlers do his spell maiden trent boult and tim southee spell was also brilliant they took 2, 2 wickets and new Zealand team easily chased the target. PNG lost their all matches and New Zealand finished number 3 in the points table with four points if they manage to beat West Indies they will be in the Super Eight in recent few years New Zealand team performance has been outstanding black caps is giving their hundred percent but unluckily they could not deliver in knockout stages.
That spell by Lockie Ferguson was simply unbelievable (4-4-0-3). He bowled 24 deliveries in T20I cricket, and didn't conceded a single run. But even then, Papua New Guinea managed to reach a total of 78. And make no mistakes here. 78 is a decent total for an associate nation, against a team like New Zealand, given the pitch conditions. Anyway, it was the end of tournament for PNG. They lost all of the matches they played, but every time they gave a good fight to their opponents. And despite winning yesterday's match, New Zealand could not qualify for the Super8 phase.
