Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma deserve this World Cup. Team India's amazing performance in the final match impressed everyone, especially Virat Kohli's innings of 76 runs was so good. And the last catch was unbelievable. But feel bad for South Africa. It was their first final. They were very optimistic and performed well. But it's sad they didn't win. Hopefully, they can win the Waldcup in the future.

Indian bowlers also managed to perform very well. Bumrah and Arshdeep bowled very controlled. Moreover, Pandya's bowling was quite good in this match. Almost every player in the team tried to perform well in his position.

Yes, it was a collective team effort but the game changer was the catch. The out of David Miller was such an amazing catch. Surya Kumar Yadav picked it up.
The ball went up straight because David Miller hit the ball onto the full straight and it was clearly gone for the six but Surya Kumar Yadav run fast as he could and picked the catch but his balance was not maintained then he dropped the ball upper and went inside the boundary then after came out from the boundary, he held the catch. This was the crucial catch because if it was missed, it could have been six and the target would have been further reduced for the South Africans.
That short of Miller floated in the air for a while between African wins and losses. As the spectators from all over the cricketing world looked on in amazement, so did the Indian fielders. While Sky was there, The dilemma of getting or not was also revolving in his mind. But when the last moment came, he turned the ball into a catch with great effort. India won a World Cup. If that catch had been missed, Maybe India would not have won that match. Because Miller could have shorted better. The game was great. How strong the Indian team that could not be understood without watching this match.

I am also impressed by captaincy of Rohit Sharma, he gave 3rd last over to thr Bumrah and that changed the side of match and that over made pressure on SA team and before we saw that SA was close to win but bowlers played well and India won the title.
I feel differently about this. Rohit made some bad decisions in this match and he got really lucky thanks to wonderboy Bumrah. Everyone were aware of the fact that Klaasen is really good against spinners, but he still relied on Kuldeep and Axar.

Those two almost gave the game away to South Africa, but Bumrah along with Pandya turned it around successfully. Average captaincy!

Trade Big, Win Bigger!
For me South Africa is one of the unluckiest teams in this game as we have no other team having results like these with many times they were near the win, but suddenly we have consequences which give them lost, and they were not able to do anything in this game from the start we have well-balanced performance with taking three early wickets were big achievement for them but still India were able to score this target which is big achievement of them specially Virat Kohli and Axar Patel were main manufacturer of this win but at the end we have three bowlers who done amazing stuff and steal the win from the jaws of defeat.

Bumrah, Arshdeep and Pandya done amazing stuff which was not expected specially while we have good batting from the South African but in last three overs things change, and we have India as new winner of the event with after 13 years they have big ICC win.
Team India really deserve to win this world cup they fought hard throughout the tournament No one was expecting South Africa to lose the match at this stage when they needed 30 runs on 30 balls and six wickets in hand. Miller and klassen on the crease but even they could not chase when whole pressure is on Indian team such a excellent bowling by Indian bowlers especially in last 5 overs credit goes to bumrah and hardik pandya who brilliantly bowls two two overs. Hardik pandya takes klassen wickets in 17th overs which was the turning point for team India and Miller wicket was also taken by hardik pandya the aggressive shown by Indian bowlers in last overs which created pressure on south Africa batsmen where they played many dotted balls. Finally indian team won T20 world cup after a long periods 17 years

Kohli and Rohit are batsmen and therefore Arshdeep and Kuldeep are not going to replace them. In all probability, these announcements would mean more chances to younger batsmen such as Abhishek Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ishan Kishan, Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer and Riyan Parag. Sanju Samson and Rinku Singh are also targeting their space. Jadeja was an allrounder, and he will be replaced by Chahal or other spin-bowling allrounders such as Ravi Bishnoi or Washington Sundar.

There are lot of reserve players in Indian players that can replace playing 11. Bumrah was kind of magician in this world cup as he pick wickets whenever he was invited to bowl. Arshdeep has also matured his skills. Indian bowling was more impressive in this tournament, they defended 30 runs on 30 balls which is not seen before in high value games. These 3 retirements won't hurt Indian T20 squad much or even if there is some problem India has enough time before next worldcup to recover.

The spectacular catch from Surya Kumar Yadav is what stole the match completely from South Africa. I was really surprised how he could keep such a creative mind even during such intense pressure. If that ball had gone a little further, South Africa would have won it. Even if Heinrich Klaasen had been on crease a over longer, things could have been different.
India is the champion for 2024 T20 world cup, only second time for such a cricketing force. South Africa too is getting back their fame and the new players might be able to get them a world cup soon. They do a T20 world cup every two years and the next one is not far.

Kohli had a horrible tournament and there were speculations that he must be dropped from the final because of his poor form. India was 3 down in 5th over and it was Kohli who rescued India from that situation along with Patel and Dube. With this win, India become the first team to lift the World Cup unbeaten. After Kohli and Rohit, Jadeja has also announced his retirement from T20I cricket and it's a good time for them to leave international cricket as there are young players like Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, and Shivam Dube to take over.

I think at the start of the match that Virat Kohli must have played well but later we saw his performance that led the team India to reach victory but on that time, I thought he must have to play fast otherwise Indian team would not have scored high but when he started to hit then he gave us hope even to cross 200 or may touch to 190 but still the target that they gave was too much and at the end, they won.

The win matters the most otherwise people would have been blaming the Virat's slow-paced innings, had India lost the game. Now, the Indian team has become the owner of two T20I trophies. 2007 and 2024 are the year in which the Indian team won the World Cup.

The last time India won the world cup was long back in 2011, and that too under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. It has been a long wait of 13 years. I was thinking that India will again lift the trophy only if the eternal panauti (Virat Kohli) retires. But then he proved everyone wrong. And finally, the impact of IPL is showing up. There is no doubt that youngsters such as Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav and Shivam Dube benefitted from the exposure that they received in the IPL.

Virat Kohli was a shadow of himself in this World Cup. An experienced player like him could not show any remarkable performance before the final match, probably this World Cup was a failure-filled experience for him. Despite speculations about his omission, Indian team captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid remained firm believers in him. Rohit Sharma felt that Virat Kohli had saved his best performance for the final match. Virat Kohli repaid that trust and lifted the team from the brink where all Indian batsmen have failed. Maybe it's the experience that an experienced batsman can pull the team out of danger and accumulate enough capital to fight back.
The way the Indian batsmen performed, I still think if Virat Kohli had not played a patient innings without holding on to one end, India would have been all out by a small number of runs in that match.
Yes ,you are right. Virat Kohli played a crucial role in winning the T20 Cricket World Cup final . Virat Kohli is big match player and I saw in last years Virat Kohli did not play well in IPL league but they won matches in International cricket. And I saw Virat Kohli played well against Pakistan and after that I  reached to the point,he is big player and can manage the pressure in final match. I am also impressed by captaincy of Rohit Sharma, he gave 3rd last over to thr Bumrah and that changed the side of match and that over made pressure on SA team and before we saw that SA was close to win but bowlers played well and India won the title.Indian team was deserving team for the World because they worked for 4 years to win this World Cup and they miss the last year World Cup.

We don't see better batting than Virat Kohli in the entire World Cup. But in the final match when the team was in a very bad shape, Kohli played an excellent innings. India lost three wickets for just 34 runs. Still India managed to collect big because of the partnership of Kohli and Patel. Virat Kohli scored 76 runs off 59 balls and Axar Patel scored 47 runs off 31 balls. Kohli played a very important role in India's victory in this match.

Indian bowlers also managed to perform very well. Bumrah and Arshdeep bowled very controlled. Moreover, Pandya's bowling was quite good in this match. Almost every player in the team tried to perform well in his position.

When all the players equally contributed in the team the team can over come any obstacles. Kohli ,Axar, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Bumrah among these mentioned players, whose contribution would I underestimate? If one's contribution is neglected then India team cannot expect to win. Because South Africa was on the brink of victory. It was a great moment for those looking to retire from international T20 cricket, especially for Kohli. It must have been a great moment for him to finish with a big win in the last match of T20 Int. cricket of his life.

Virat Kohli has contributed a lot behind the victory in this World Cup. Virat Kohli is an experienced and veteran batsman who is an intelligent player in all aspects. We have seen that although we did not perform very well in these matches, but in the final, Virat Kohli showed his great performance and brought the team victory. If Virat Kohli didn't score such a big score, maybe the Indian team would not have won this T20 World Cup, but the bowling also contributed a lot here, especially Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah. However I think Virat Kohli is an experienced and great player for India and it must be sad for India as he has announced his retirement. Although we have seen Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli announce their retirement from international cricket, the two experienced players will definitely be missed by the Indian team.

This was no horrible time we have some bad patch for him few games, and he was looking for having good touch which he had in last and final game with every time we have room for these big players, and we can't ignore them in big events like these so having faith in him give good dividend to Indian team, and he has done historic job for his team and country while play vital role and score big runs which give them trophy after 13 years of wait.

Now we have announcement from the three players as they ended their international careers after this win and new players are ready to take over with Indian players pool is now one of the toughest with too many exciting players are available to replace them and play for India which could be headache for the selectors.

If it had happened, South Africa would have had another chance to play this final. So would South Africa have won or would have gone back with the sadness of the defeat? I think South Africa would have lost by a bigger margin if they had got another chance. However, a new chapter has been written in the ICC T20 World Cup as India is winning this World Cup under the leadership of Rohit Sharma.

Then India's World Cup record includes Kapil Dev lifting one World Cup title, Mahendra Singh Dhoni lifting one World Cup trophy, and Rohit Sharma lifting another trophy in the T20 World Cup.

South Africa was shocked in the final moments of the game they didn't win the final with 26 runs needed from 24 balls and more than half the team remaining but didn't win the final game. credit to team India for stealing the victory from the mouth of South Africa's most important final game of the WC. Rohit Sharma got his dream complete by winning the World Cup and taking retirement from international T20 cricket. South African players played well but the end was not well.  Heinrich Klaasen played an excellent inning but unluckily didn't finish the match for his team. In the 15th over Heinrich Klaasen scored 24 runs to Axar Patel by hitting 3 sixes and required a run rate under 6 but other South African players didn't score 6 runs per over and lost the trophy.

I think a team is perfected by the combination of the young and the old. Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jadeja are very experienced players. So I don't think it's time for Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Jadeja to retire from the T20 World Cup.

It is also true that new players should be given a chance. And it is not possible that the place of one will be filled by another. Sachin Tendulkar was just Sachin Tendulkar. Sourav Ganguly was Sourav Ganguly. Virat Kohli was Virat Kohli. That means no one can take someone's place. But over time new players will come and adapt themselves to the environment.

Anyway, I appreciate the Indian cricket team and wish them prosperity in the future.
