Today I was in complete shock while enjoying the first semi-final match of ICC 2024 Men's Twenty20 World Cup between Afghanistan and South Africa. And thought we might be seeing a different Afghanistan team in today's match.

The Afghanistan team did not perform as well against South Africa as they did against Australia and Bangladesh. In this match, the Afghanistan team came under a lot of pressure from the beginning and then they could not stand upright. Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Mohammad Nabi and Noor Ahmed are the three batsmen who hit golden ducks. Moreover, the most surprising thing is that none of Afghanistan's batsmen could reach double figures. We saw low scoring matches where we expected competitive matches. Now we are waiting for the second semi-final match where India and England will face each other.

It's seems that Afghanistan's performance has sunk the value of my yesterday's prediction In yesterday's prediction I said this match will not be easy for South Africa. And what I saw in the match was the easiest match for South Africa in this World Cup. However, I knew Afghanistan's batting performance was not good but never thought it would prove to be so bad with this performance.
But luckily I didn't take any bet due to the unpredictable conditions in this match, and it was best not to because if I took a bet I would have placed on Afghanistan. And maybe I should regret my loss today.

Correctly, today we see a unbelievable performance of South Africa sqaud in match especially in bowling inning against Afghanistan sqaud in first semi final match. I already believe that this was the much difficult task for Afghanistan sqaud to defeat South Africa squad in this match and South Africa says still unbeaten in ICC Men T20 World Cup and congrats for reaching on final match hoper second sqaud in final match will be India sqaud and then we see big match among these squads. In today 1st semi final match, Afghanistan squad has begun this match first with batting Inning buly winning toss task and this was the worst decision of Afghanistan sqaud to choose bat inning. Beginning of match, South Africa sqaud put high burden to Afghanistan batters to pick starter and earlier batter wickets alIbrahim Zadran and Rahmanullah Gurbaz, these wickets are very important for Afghanistan sqaud. IND will be in the finals playing against RSA if that happens, which means that ENG will not get a chance to compete. What a big mess Afghanistan made today of themselves. They won the toss, batted first and got only 56 runs. This might be the worst batting by any team in the tournament. Or it was best bowling by the South African bowlers.

Next semifinal will be played today between India and England. Rain is predicted in Guyana and if the game gets suspended then India will go to the finals as they are the top team on the point table. ICC forgot to allocate an extra day for the semifinals knowing that rain can disrupt the game.

Well said. We saw the matches of South Africa against Bangladesh and Nepal on those matches the performance are so close. And since teams like Bangladesh and Nepal have been able to compete well with South Africa, I think this match with Afghanistan is not going to be easy for the South African team. And if they think that they can easily win this match with Afghanistan, then their situation can be like that of an Australian team.

Basically it is wrong to expect so much from Bangladesh. There are some senior cricketers of Bangladesh who when asked about their performance they say that they win almost fifty to 40% matches in the entire tournament which is a big deal for them. When BCB president is asked, he always says that the target of Bangladesh is always the next World Cup. How can those whose plans are so small achieve anything big in a big tournament like the World Cup?

Tomorrow we will watch two main matches of the tournament. Afghanistan vs South Africa at 1:30AM and India Vs England 3:30PM . I am very excited to watch these matches because these matches will be high voltage match and we will see high competition between four teams. India is stronger than England but we saw last World Cup in which India was much stronger than any other team but India could not win the World Cup. More chances are India will beat England but England team can also upset Indian team because Buttler is in full form and that player is equal to one team when he is in full form and he has capability to bend the match to their side.Afghanistan has more chances to qualify for final but South Africa could also performe in tomorrow match . Let see what happens.
