Though Mohammad Shami did his job perfectly, but Indian spinners and fielders had a tough day. Dropped catches helped Mitchell and Ravindra build a solid innings. Otherwise, New Zealand's score would have been much lower. Daryl Mitchell delivered a brilliant century, and there was a 159-run partnership between Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell that helped New Zealand post a total of 273 runs.

NZ caught up real well after losing two early wickets. I feel this where England went wrong yesterday, if you wanna make big score or chasing it, you don't necessarily go guns blazing starting first over. Teams either go under pressure and eat up unnecessary balls or try to hit each ball and get out, the latter happened with England.
Jadeja's catch drop was unexpected, but he recouped it in other games where he did unimaginable breakthroughs

India won the toss by choose to bowl first. The reason being India has been good in chasing targets in this tournament. The Indian bowlers started well by taking two wickets quickly. There could have been another wicket if Jadeja had taken the catch of Ravindra. I never expected a simple catch could have been dropped by him. I hope this catch drop doesn't became a pain for the Indian team.
Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell are batting very responsibly. Their collection was 33 runs in the first 10 overs. At the end of 20 overs, New Zealand collected 91 runs. New Zealand did not lose any more wickets. Rachin Ravindras remained unbeaten on 39 off 46 balls and Daryl Mitchell on 31 off 38 balls. New Zealand's batting order is very strong. New Zealand have the potential to deliver big targets if Ravindra and Mitchell's partnership lasts. Tom Latham, Phillips and Chapman are all capable of playing big innings. I would say if New Zealand don't lose wickets in next 10 overs they will give 300+ target today.
