Most of the time, I do not trust ICO's from Russia they tend to go bad&deceitful and scam. I avoid it and sometimes even if the ICO is not from Russia but their team members are Russian, I get uninterested already.

In Russia there is as yet no legislative base for regulating crypto-currencies, so in my opinion, ICO in Russia is a big risk. However, now the world is tightening the rules of using crypts. Singapore, Hong Kong, Estonia, Great Britain and Gibraltar. These countries are actively developing the business environment for crypto-currency projects

And I'm afraid that Russia will also put a tougher regulations if not a outright ban on crypto. Because they still haven't proved anything yet. They said that they will established a mining farm in the beginning of the year but I don't know what happen to that plan.

And besides I haven't find any credibility in them because they always contract themselves. You will hear positive news and articles, but the next day, someone will also another statement totally in opposite of the first one. So everyone is really confuse about their intentions.

On my opinion they generally are scam. I can’t understand the reason but only few of them are successful (Waves, for example) and the rest of them are scam with unfair teams. After some attempts I try to avoid Russian ICOs.

It is not necessary to judge the project by the country of its registration, just as stupid to judge a person by his nationality. In the Russian legislation there is a movement towards the regulation of the behavior of ICO and other issues related to cryptocurrencies. I think this will have a positive impact on the degree of responsibility of projects organizers and will stop speculation in the field of crypto-currencies.

It really does not matter the country of origin of an ico because scam icos can come out of anywhere really, it is the quality of the project and the quality of the coins that they are offering that matters in the long run when we look at it, we all want to make money, it does not matter where the origin is, as long as the ico ends up making us money

I'm Russian myself and I won't suggest you to invest in the ICO's, surely there's small part of fair ICO's. But mostly it WILL be a scam, trust me, I know what I'm saying.

I think that it is possible to create good projects in Russia. The whole world is very wary of Russia. Maybe it somehow affects advertising, attracting customers, investors, etc.

People what do you think about investment in russian icos?
I have invest in a few ico and I do not think about the country that which country is it from as I often search for the potential of the project that how well Will it go and howuch active are the developers of that project if both of these are verified then there is no any fear that there will be any fear of scam. It do not depend on country but it depends on developers

Russian ICOs discredited themselves, but there are successful projects among them. For example, Credits, which grew 3 times and hit the top-130 after ICOs. From the current ICOs, I recommend Vestarin. The project has great prospects to become the best marketplace for blockchain, so I would recommend investing in this ICO.

My view that success of ICO does not depend from nationality of founders. I know good examples of sucessfull Russian ICOs - for example WAVES, WINGS, KICKICO, etc.
I  think your should to assess another factors than ICO's nationality.

People what do you think about investment in russian icos?

I like some projects of Russian developers. I recently invested some money in the ICO Arcona. I would very much like to see this project reach a high level of development. Let's see what happens.

Anyway I chose also BeEasy, you can see it in my signature! Developers from Russia. In my opinion good project.

I think that the project of Pavel Durov just can't fail. I'm ready to invest big money in this project. This is a very serious man who will fulfill his obligations 100%. I don't have confidence in other projects created by the russians because of scams, but TON is legit by nature Wink

There is a very big danger that many of the projects created by Russian engineers will be doomed to failure. We are not talking about Vitalik, because he is Canadian. We are talking about other Russian projects

Everytime I check the project teams and see Russian members, I try to avoid participating either in bounty programs or ICOs. The main reason for this is my personal experience and the reports of famous Russian crypto traders...

If you are looking at different Russian ICOs, have a look at the following: https://bubbletone.io
They have a great idea, a perfect team, the working beta-version was shown in Barcelona in February this year.

I always skip russian ICOs because they have poor perfomance price statistics after ICO (often they just collect our money and don't do anything).

I have to notice that we'd have no any ICOs without Russian creator of Ethereum. And there are frauds and scams projects from any country.
