Altcoins will be best choice in this both option because none of ICO will be 100 percentage safe while you going to invest for short period as well. But for altcoin investment you can assure yourself stating short term profit and volume in the exchange.

I think that wonderful time has passed when it was profitable to invest in the ICO. Now we all know that during the listing of the coin, its price is rapidly falling and, accordingly, there is no point in participating in the ICO.
Ico investments can be a bit risky compared to the altcoin investment. If you are looking for not valued coins. You can choose from icos recently finished and on exchange. Their price can be lower than ico price. They have much more potential.

Personally, I'll go for altcoin investment because altcoins are profitable especially if you are in for long term investment.

ICO investment offers more profit compared to altcoins. However, high profit means high risk. My suggestion is divide your investment into two, one at ICO and the rest at altcoins. At least you have a backup whatever happens to ICO you had invested in.
I believe that the most profitable investment is an investment in the Altcoins. This is my opinion, I understand that it may differ from the opinions of other people. There are cases when tokens after ICO rose very high in price, but my choice is Altcoins
It really depends on the project and its price at the same time. Because if you will look at the new cryptocurrencies in CMC you'll see that most of them below ICO prices. So I think right now there are many altcoins better than most of the ICOs today unless if you're looking at solid ones like the dencoin tokens. And specially today that ICO is facing a lot of issues like project scamming and so on, so i guess its better to invest with the altcoins.
If that happens to me, of course I will invest in altcoin. Because, investment in ICO is certainly very risky if the project is not good. And for altcoin investments, you can invest in a number of altcoins that you think are good for making a profit there.
I think it would be better to compare IEO investment and top10 altcoins investment. Both these types of investment are good in this bullish market.
i admit that ICO investment are high risk rather than famous coin investment, but when you find very good and most potential ICO, it can return you more than you expect. ICO investment need more research and effort than altcoin investment, but my strategy are always hodling both investment. i dont do trading or short term period investment, its more healthier for me. better for you to not put your investment in ome basket, try both investment with proper research so you can cover one and other lost.

Depends on you where is better for your knowledge and understanding, for me I choose both ICOs and altcoins but need to give more quality time to study choosing altcoins and ICO's how to make profits.

You do not need to choose because of course people will going to choose altcoins investment or the famous coins because it is less risk nbecause the coin is already listed to the CMC. Unless the coin become dump very low that is consequence but it will only happen to the coin who are shitcoin.

Both will get the job done. If you want to make sure just go for altcoin investments. But there are also ICOs that are really good investments. ANd you can also get a lot from investing cheap. But the problem is just you have to be careful when it comes to investing on those ICOs because fraud ICOs are spreading.
I think the investment in ICO for now is very bad, because the market conditions are unstable and still turbulent so many ICO projects fail in exchange, so I suggest investing in the best Altcoin like Ethereum, BNB, XRP and others.

I like these investments. Investments into ICO and altcoins can be very profitable, but they have big risk. But now, when the market begins the growth I chose investments into perspective altcoins. in my opinion, it will make for more profit.

I think instead of investing in ICO, you should choose the altcoin that is available in this market because the market recently has a tendency to increase more and if you choose a good coin then the chance to earn more than 200% is It is very easy if you have good knowledge in this market Ico investment can give you profits that is double than that what altcoin can give because ico's are cheap and it got even cheaper if you invest within a specific time given by them although you must be verry picky because ico's are known to be verry risky and most of them usually failed to hit the market because they fail to reach their qouta or cap but altcoin investment were usually already listed but they dont give any bonuses aside from when thier value decrease due to fluctuations .
I think ICO could double our investment is questionable because a lot ICO after listed in market, the price drop below ICO price for many factor. I am prefer choosing invest in popular altcoin and already have big daily transaction.
