You say:  ICO is new way to get Free money?
I'm not sure if you understand how ico's work. You have to invest in it, often with BTC and/or ETH so it is not free.
Now can you make money with ico's? That's a totally different question.
actually, you're don't understand the meaning of my question. i mean "free money" is  how you make money easily and quickly without spending much money  Cheesy

There are definitely a lot of fake ICOs out there. It really comes down to doing your research and of course taking a bit of risk. As they say, buyer beware.

Well yes, 90% ICO are fake only. The sole purpose is to earn and run away. And the best thing is you don't even have to give any fiat or real coin to your investors. Just take their money, toss them some random erc token and disappear. But that being said, there are many projects which use ICO to gather funds and develop real projects like golem, lunyr, decentraland, steemit etc. So all ICOs are not bad, but most are!!

Ask any ICO project owners now and they won't be able to deny that the main driving force behind the ICO launch was to raise funds in the easiest way possible. All research and statistics already show that ICO is by far the quickest, most effective way to get money without the hassle of regulatory documentation (a whitepaper is all that is needed these days).

So of course it has become a playground for scammers. Marketing people and ponzi operators also take advantage of people's greed, offering crazy bounties and now even referral bonuses. All in the name of getting in as much investment as possible.

So yeah, I have to agree. A couple of gems maybe but only in a mountain of free-money scams.

I do not know why! I only think that Ico project is a more modern Ponzi method right now.  Huh
How about you, YES OR NOR ?   Huh
90% of the ICO projects now can be called modern ponzi scams like you said OP because some only intends to gather money for themselves but not all ICO's are like that. IMO, ICO is not a new way to gather free money. In the investor's case, they need to invest money in order to gain profit. The same goes with the developers of ICO. In order to setup an ICO, they also need to pay for hosting of their website in order to start their crowdsale.

Not all ICO's can give you free money, there are ICO's who are fake, developers will abandoned the project once they collected enough funds for their own purposes (profit). Others will sell all the remaining tokens then again abandoned the project. A legit ICO can make you free money just by following the rules indicated on how to join their Airdrop or bounty campaign, also there are ICO's who are too good to be true but eventually will turn into a fake one, so please remember that.

A legit ICO does have a good and respectable developers (which you can search their achievements or their current trust rating), it should have a good roadmap, complete white paper and very, very strict with their rules which will prevent spammers (newbie accounts) to join such one.

It's not a binary choice. There are some very legitimate projects available which are more suited to the ICO stucture of funding than others. However, the recent trend toward the easily accessible ERC-20 tokens has muddied the waters significantly so it requires more skill and effort to recognize the legitimate projects from the money grabs in recent times. Therefore, you are wise to avoid ICO's during this trend because there are very few projects which are both legitimately presented AND successfully executed.

It can be said that most ICO's are fake, scams or simply don't or won't work in the long run. I wouldn't say that all ICO devs have bad motives, but the ones that do will obviously take their earnings and eject.
You simply need to do some good research, keep a good communication bridge between the ICO's team and if or when you decide on investing and hope you don't fall victim to scams.
