there are some ico that do not have good quality, but there are also ikos that have good quality. Well, sometimes, a good ico has a great investor. sometimes investing in ico becomes the best thing, but all this is under threat.

Investing in ICO could be risky and it could be good as well.

ICO is a good investment to make money, though investing in ICO has a high risk but it is important to understand for the investors that these risk will definitely double or triple in the coming month.

Make sure you are to take risk, then afford the one that you tend to loss. This can be either a small amount or this can be a big amount. Wut ico we can predict to some extent all about the real growth based on different features as well real time usage. Even successful projects go as a scam due to lack of promotion. So ico is interlinked to lot of factors. It's our responsibility to make the better decision while investing.

Step 1: As with any investment, don't invest money you can't afford to lose.
-Even if the company is legit, crypto is stocks on steroids and are very volatile and unpredictable
-You could win or lose big so be prepared for both
-It is NOT gambling as you can learn to pick a winner with proper preparation. It's like playing cards and legally (and more easily) being able to count them.

Step 2: Make sure the company is REAL and not a scam.
-Pictures of staff members
-Staff members linkedin accounts
-Pictures of staff members together
-Videos of staff members/interviews
-Pictures of office
-Office location (research address)
-Social media presence of company
-Dig around the website...does it look legit? Is the English native-level?
-Email them-do they respond promptly and in English?
-Google CEO/CTO/developers/marketers and found out who they are and what they've done.
-Do they have a working product already?
-Do they have funding or investors already?
-Does it give you a good or bad gut feeling?
-Think to yourself...if I had 10,000-20,000 dollars, could I recreate everything that is on their website, forums, etc? If so, beware...

Step 3: Research the project
-Whitepaper (clear plan and goals, well written, not just a bunch of buzzwords)
-Roadmap (reasonable and clear)
-Is there demand for what they are doing?
-Is their technology proprietary or unique?
-Are they well-respected and connected in the industry?
-Is their advisory panel well-respected and connected?
-Search them on forums like this one, and find out the general consensus on their project, its viability
-Search their legal team and contact them if possible beforehand
-What will they use your money for?
-How will they make MONEY?
-How will you be able to make money when they make money?
-Do you feel passionate about what they are doing?

Step4:
Invest or don't invest based on all of the above.

From some of my experiences and reading on threads, investing in ICOs can be profitable and sometimes not, it depends on the success of its sales and project, and if you really want to invest in ICOs you should be really keen in investing, because there is also an ICO scam.

of course it is a good investment, but I suggest before entering an ICO, first check the project whether the future really will be useful because it all affect the price of the token going forward.

In my opinion i think ICO is a good investment. Although majority are skeptical about it but the main issue is to do necessary research before investing in any ICO to ascertain how successful the project will be by thoroughly going through their white paper and also the team handling the project.

I dont thin the current ICO model that most projects are doing is the best approach to raising money in crypto. I think we need a better solution to really kick things off.

ICO can be a fantastic investment, but with so many offers it's difficult to choose the good one (moreover, the majority of them are scams or done in an amatorial way).
The only answer is to gain a real competence on the matter, nad to take decision with logic and good information.

Yes ico is good to invest , but you need to know first what will the ico is capable of to earn profits from it. Make research in an ico that you are interested to invest in. Do not just invest in an ico because many ico are just tom ake money for themselves and when they had enough they will eventually run all the money they get. Good ico to inveat is hard to know. You better have to smart in choosing.

So ICO is a gambling investment so far yet, if I as a newbie in cryptoworld I prefer mining rather than ICO. I cant accept the risk of ICO btw thats why I choose mining or participate bounty, then the reward I've got from them I invested into top 5 cryptocurrency or I hold it when it good on development
