The thing for you to consider about investing in ICO's is that they are potentially extremely risky investments.

Investing in ICOs might be profitable for alot of people but i won't suggest it to people who don't knoe much about ICOs. If you have done alot of research on the particular ICO you want to invest in, and if it looks good then you should go for it. If you don't know much about the ICO you want to invest in then it would be better not to invest in it as there is a bog chance that you might lose your money. As you know there are some scam ICOs too so you need to be very careful.

Actually I recommend you do not ivest in ICO now, because of a lot of scam ICO's. It's really hard to find a profitable ICO with promising and working project. I lost some of my btc when tried invest in ICO.

Well like any real life project a startup have it's own properties and mostly important risks/rewarding associated with them... generally ICO are startup with partial or not completed products, ideas that are meant to grow upon years of roadmaps, you must be interested with the fact that success ICO could gave you flips in profit in a short time but that's not always the case, therefore it's a must to always seek for the right one and succeed in find so would generate you a goldmine like how any early investor does, i would say promising ICOs are always a good investment to look into, strong team realistic idea and products might certain bring you further. You go for those but take your time in getting the right one.
With Bitcoin and Eth both having golden run at the moment, ICO will be facing situation of lesser funding! This will eventually lead to dump when tokens hit exchanges! So ICO in not the best buy at the moment.

It is a good investment that it can give to anyone who will participate in the ico. I know many of the member in this forum got their profit most of the time in the ico project.
ICOs are extremely difficult to evaluate, especially if you have no experience with investments. Using a small amount of money to "gamble" is fine since it could just work out and has much better chances than playing the lottery or a casino. But it would be an extremely bad idea for someone with no serious experience to put a large amount of money into ICOs.
I think ICO is one of the best invesment in this market for my opinion. With small amount of investment you can make good money. You can't know the campaign will work or not but if you invest $100 you could make $100.000. You can loose your $100 ok but you can make fortune too. It's smart to risk your $100..
for some people even a lot of people in this diforum definitely judge that ico is a good investment because they surely follow it and I think it's interesting

Based on the level of sophistication of the question I'm concerned that it might not be the best investment for you. It's like when people ask me if they should invest in stocks, and the type of returns that they should expect. You should really have an advanced learning of the subject, and at a minimum know the difference between utility token, security tokens, advantages of using blockchains over databases, etc. For the the last example you would then be able to differentiate when a blockchain is truly needed for a project, versus when a database would do just as well or better, but the blockchain component is used exclusively for the purpose of raising money.
Nobody can beat the ico Return of investment rate.
