Its depends on you , because from my experience , i have scammed some ICO.
But i think not all ICO its not good for investment.
Maybe u must ask "How to choose a good ICO for investment".
Yeah sometimes we must research about the ICO , their team , and the roadmap/whitepaper , their have a concept for getting their investor.
If their have a good concept , promising.
Maybe i will invest on their project , but , its depends on you , Research first before u invest to an ICO.
Maybe 60% Bad ICO and 40% Success ICO.

90% of ICO are garbage and only 10% are the real deal and winners. Its to be able to identify the real deal and not get caught up. You should invest according to the information you self-study and decide, not to crowd, not follow the feelings and ensure your investment if lost does not affect your real life.

I suspect that most of the ico is now does not suitable for investment. And its not profitable to invest.because i have seen last 6 months that most of the ico failed their price when the coin started to trade on exchange.even 1/3rd ico`s price can not be keept .only rear of ico can keep their ico price on exchange.so i dont think its no need to take a high risk.

can say that ICO is one place where we can invest. but things like that have a big enough risk if the ICO does not reach the target, what we invest may not be in accordance with what we expect. I think it's too risky for newbies who are still inexperienced.

Before investing in an ICO, you should know first the basics. Like what are ICO's, why they are such created aside from the opportunity that one day, the money you invest in will grow more versus what you invest.

An ICO will only be a good investment if their road map is for longer-term. Don't just look on the project or coin features, look for the project platform and reform.

But, be careful, as long-term ICO's sometimes tend to break down compared to short ones as people nowadays go crazy only for tokens and hoping one day the coins that they have will turn them into instant millionaires. Grin

You might be very happy of getting profit from ICO results. Because it is a very hard thing to choose the right ICO and to predict its success.. Especially now.
From 40 ICO's maybe just 4-5 will be successful and profitable. But if you chose right one you will get a great profit.

Can you share your strategy of choosing the ICOs to invest? Which points lead you to decision making? I will be glad to hear info from the man who already got profit from them. Maybe some tips, hints. Just curious of other experienced people's opinions about this.

Yes ICO is a really good investment, but again you need to be sure how strong is the project.

And one more important thing you need to consider, In which phase of ICO you are investing.

I mean, as there happens that we mostly get in during crowdsale, where as there was a pre sale where the investors have got a real good bonus. In such cases it's preferable to wait till the coin hits the exchanges and buy during the dump, which is bound to happen with the presale investors dumping the coins.

Always remember to do your own research. There are a crap load of sites out there rating ICO's. those are nice to read, but don't make decisions based on them.

It is up you to find the ones that actually hold potential value, mostly done via looking at the ideas, whitepapers, team etc.
It is quite a cool way of crowdfunding, and a lot of money are being raised and made that way, so many prominent lads are utilizing that method of financing their ideas, all it takes is to find the ones that are worth trusting your money with.

Off course it is good investment but at the same you need to face lot of risk in it because we don't know whether they are legit on or not. Before investing we have to do some research whether the have capability to prove themselves in the market.

Almost ICO has scam and you must know the operations or workings project in ico, then know the team who participated in ico. You can be research on how icos works before tou are participate and know all about the ICOs for your protection against in the hand of scammers.
