Sometimes it is a good thing to invest in ICO sometimes it is not. Well basically if the team is good, the product has a future then you may take a risk to invest into that ICO. You must understand that you are not investing into a firm product but into an idea. Sometimes it works out well sometimes it doesnt. Right now the release of ICO dates is also critical. If the release date is somewhere near a btc fork, then you might want to keep your money in btc as you can buy cheaper later as people tend to dump their tokens. You can also acquire cheaper tokens when the bounty is distributed where the bounty hunters go for their quick buck. It totally depends. I would say wait for the product release, then evaluate the product then invest. Or if you like some risk, do invest a little in the ico. If it works for you then get some more when it dumps.

there is no good price, so do not invest, this is not a sensible idea

Most times , ICOs can o either ways, it can make some Money and it can also make you lose some, Most coins can go ×4 or more afetr ICO, whike some stay below ICO price. Before investing in any ICO, it must be one you're are very knowledgeable about. Go through the whole project and see what it is all about.

Most of ico's are traded below ico price,so what for to buy ico.But if you find good, legitimate ico with workable product coming just after ico or already developed product than it is worth to close look. But i agree 90% ico's are like hype shitcoins just stealing bigger money

ICO can be a good investment if we do proper research about a particular ICO as not all ICOs are nor all ICOs bad. Nowadays finding of good ICO is like found a gem from sea but if you some one you can get good profit from that in long run. Always check the project, team working behind the ICO and full road-map of project.
If we do try to look at on the number of ICO or projects in the market now we can really say that it would really be a tough job on finding the gem for sure but once you hit the right project then the award would really be satisfying since this would really generate or make you some decent profits. This is why as an ICO investor we should really search up things carefully.

It is the best investment but you need to find first which is the best ICO to invest in. Not all of them are good, actually I think the most of them are very bad investment. At the moment I think there is not a good ICO to invest .. Personally I still wait for something really good.

Ico are promised profit providers. Here during the presale the investors were provided with few offers on the first come first served basis. So even if the project didn't grow big, most of the time investors won't end up losing until the project goes as a scam. Here, before investing user needs to understand the worthiness of the project as well it's long term road map.

Hello, Friends...

I Recently listen about the ICO (Initial Coin Offerings)! But I'm confused, Is it a Right Investment or Not?

Anyone Suggests me!

comparring with the fact that you will have to increasingly pay interest for storing money on the bank account or pay with inflation you have to invest anyway. because the banker cartels arent working, they are confusing a lot, and they also are printing money to live on the back of others powering inflation even more

if you cant invest you use someone that can help you with that, but in the end you have to try your best finding the best investments

ICO's are a double edged sword, you need to do extensive research before investing in one as most of them are either linked to scams, vapourware and all sorts of ponzi schemes. Typically these ICO's are bought on a low price and the tokens are dumped once it hits exchanges. If you're lucky they may go up (like Tenx, OMG), although a dump is always imminent after a few hundred percent gains so always protect your investment by taking out your capital first once your in profit.

Another thing you might want to consider instead of ICO's are airdrops. These are coins given for free as a marketing effort and adoption of the coin by the market. ll you need to do is meet the requirements that they impose and you are able to receive your own share of the tokens. One good project to look at as of the moment is the DeepOnion airdrop. They don't have an ICO and it's totally airdrop based, you just need to apply and pass the required number of posts for members. They have a really strong community and a growing number of supporters right now, so you might want to check them out here in BCT. You can also check their official website at deeponion.org, their community forum at https://deeponion.org/community.

I see Deep Onion everywhere... Isn't it a signature campaign though? Also, what makes it so special that it has such a huge community?

Make A Bet on WORKING SOFTWARE
October 22, 2017, 09:23:00 AM
I suggest you do your own research in deciding if an ICO is a good investment or not. A lot of people here will tell you not to because there have been a lot of scammy ICOs. However you have to do research into the product(if they have one), the team, and their roadmap to see where the project is headed.

Agreed.  Especially if they have working software.

I think there are so many questions that are more or less the same as you, but still can not be answered, because following an investment in ico is a very risky and profitable thing if the project is successful and the coin released on the market can go up, but it is very rare

Depends on the ICO. Most of them seem to just be here to ride the crypto hype wave.

But there are a few that seem like they really want to see their idea flourish. And within those there are some that actually seem like they could succeed too that also have a realistic idea with a lot of potential.

The most important thing is to not listen to what others say on this forum and to make up your own mind. Invest in what you like and understand and never invest more than you are willing to lose.

For me it is a good way of investment to join in an ICOs especially if thus ICOs are success because you can get double or triple times of your investment return.

ICO is a good way to raise fund but for investment, I can't say 100% good. There are some fake ICOs that make ICO look dirty. The others are legit ICOs like ten x pay. Investing in ICO wich has long and continuing project will be worthy. ICO with unrealistic project will be worthless because the price of the token will be dropped after ICO finished. I bought SCL for 0.5 and now it is worth 0.3 eth. Why the project isn't serius and the supply of the token is too large.

Definitely ICO is STILL a good investment in my own opinion. But you need to be vigilant, make your intense research especially if huge money involve. There are so many ICO's and reported scam so better check the community before considering to invest in an ICO.
