It all depends. Investing in ICO is very risky and you have to assess the project carefully. As an early investor in the said project, you can buy the token lower in its market value with bonuses but you have to be confident enough that after the ICO, that token will get higher in value and the projects makes sense as a business.

now it is a lot of fraud cases that occur, from scam project to project is good but there are those who use it with phishing, and it is not a trivial thing. but of course it does not make us afraid to invest in an ico, which is important is the analysis in investing

Just because there are some ICO being scam then it is generalization on all ico. its wrong of course there is a legit ICO where they have real projects that want to be realized. then from before buying ico make sure you do picky and checking first, is it ico scam or not. potential or not..

The best way to invest is research and get involved in communities, searching for the right coin that will grow for for sure. ICO's often wont grow for sure, as many of them are just a system to get money, then developers go to sleep for few months and coin falls. there are cool projects, usually coins for payment and not tokens, that have good developers. the world now changing to the crypto payment and there will be more coins that get much more value. its for sure

Bitcoin is the best way to invest in and other alt coins as well. Holding bitcoin is going to give you large amount of profit for the years to come. And if you are kind of bored for holding your bitcoins and other alt coins, ICO's are also a good way to make money but you only need to be aware that not all are good as you need to be prepare too for some of it are just trying to scam people from crowdfunding.

ICO is a good way to invest BUT;
Before you will engage in any coins that offers ICO you must first conduct extensive research about it.
Don't just go with the flow, don't let others dictate your decisions.
Have your own research with regards to the legitimacy of their coins.
The risk is always there, but with sufficient knowledge you may avoid them.

Usually when the ico is at a level where the hype will allow it to grow bigger then they will usually launch something early. If a team has the resources to pull something like that then it would be a good team.

I agree that ICO is one of the best way to invest. But there are some ICOs that end up unsuccessful. So better be careful joining and choose the most trusted bounty managers and developers. And as well as the concept of the project.

Yes I think, but be careful before before investing on some ICO's because some of them are not that worthy. Maybe before investing on an ICO always check it's price to make sure you would gain enough profit, and not just wasting your time.

Nah one of the worst ways in my opinion.
Project creators that call themselves devs (obviously some are good devs, most aren't though) get paid 10/100 /1000 times what normal devs are getting paid.

They are raking in millions of dollars before even doing any development.
On top of that there's a constant stream of ico's asking for money.

All in all it's getting pretty annoying.
