Civic CEO Vinny Lingham explains that administering an ICO takes months. Civic had received considerable praise during its sold-out sale for the way it handled the demand for tokens and ensured what Lingham described as “very wide” distribution. He also released a brief guide to prospective businesses.

ICO might be the best way to invest our money because we cannot know if we are investing in an ICO that is best because everything can be a best opportunity if you know what you are doing so it is still up to you on how you are going to make it as the best way to invest, if you will understand or study the ico then you might call it the best way to invest because you can invest in the great projects.

I wouldn't say best.. It's the most promising way and therefore the riskiest, as well. Because it holds so much potential, people go crazy about it and also promote it like crazy, i.e. pump&dump.

Like for every investment you should know quite precisely what it's about and in the best case have some influence on how your investment performs. (and I don't mean to make marketing for the coins of your portfolio)

To answer the question: It depends... It depends on how much you understand what you are investing in.

Where else can you make 500%+ returns in a month or a few ?

On top of that we're expanding our financial futures by being able to create our own currencies. I feel like we'll be returning to the barter days.

If you are smart in seeing prospects and developers of an ico team, maybe ico is a smart investment place. But if you are blind in seeing a project then it will be a loss in investing. So if you want to invest ico try looking for some friends who are willing to give advice and science about ico because already many successful people who invest in ico crypto

Yeah it is an opportunity if you get to buy ICO coins . If the coin is good, We should make a research of the particular coin, and we should be very careful on the selection of coins. Volume of the coin and its market cap are to be observed since that help us to predict whether the coin is worthy or not. The best way to invest is to evaluate the project and not take into account the fact it is an ICO, there are many projects out there that have not felt the need to raise x amount of money prior to doing anything, a prime example of this is bitcoin itself. And you need just to be smart to identify which one is a reliable and makes sense project or it is just for the sake of exit scam.

Pre ICO is even better as in PRE ICO you may earn a very good bonus or discount for purchasing your coins or tokens early. Usually in many ICOS, once they get listed on exchanges, they often get dumped very hard even below ICO price. So always best to try to get the early bird bonuses. Also if you are going to long term hold then dump is not a problem anyway. My Wife and I now search out early PRE ICOS but of course there is only so much money to go around and now we do not have much left to invest in significant amounts, only small portions left form my salary at the moment as we are holding a few coins already.

Exactly. ICO is a pretty good investment option, the offered transparency system becomes an added value.
but there are also ICOs that are at risk of a scam , therefore we must be smart to choose ICO where to invest.

In a certain way, yes, it is less risky if you have checked out few things about the ICO thoroughly. When looking into ICO there are a  few things that I look at before putting my own money in. No 1 is the team behind the project. I see that if they have worked prior to planning/launching the ICO have worked in big companies or done a successful startup or not. Or are these basically nobodies and random people who are throwing a whitepaper without having any experience in crypto currencies are are trying to make a quick buck. So this is No1 for me. No2 is that I check if the ICO is a legit company or is backed by a legit company and has been around for a few years. Third thing is I see if people are excited about the ICO or not? Are they making waves? Do they have a press presence or not. I like when and if an ICO is covered by Coindesk & Techcrunch. Also if the ICO had a presale, how good was the response. Was the presale accomplished what it wanted to. How much did the presale gather in terms of USD. Lastly and most importantly, I see that if the ICO is hard capped or the team is just interested to make as much money as they can.

One such ICO that has all the above said points and I am personally investing is Blackmooncrypto. For more information you may visit https://blackmooncrypto.com/ or join their telegram chat https://t.me/blackmooncrypto

Yes I think so, Invest in ICO has potential to make big profit but before jump it should be make research first about their team, learn the whitepaper and other fundamental of the project.
There are still many things to invest your money. Dont think that ICO can save you forever. Trust me. I do beleive that it is not a good way to invest because there are too many scammy projects outside. trading is better and altcoins are also greater than ICO

Do you think ICO is the best way to invest in?

Investing is one of the risky thing you can do . But I think investing to ICO is the best way to have a good profit, but then again you need to choose wisely in what ICO coins you will invest . Try to check first about their backgrounds.
We are lucky here that the forum itself is being protected by many people and if there is a scam it is easily kicked out.
We can some vouch for the new coins and invest with. We will just have to pick the ones that we think will grow large.
There is always a risk with every coin and as I see it the more riskier the better the profit and that will take just a short time.

The majority of the ICO have shown huge decrease of price due to lack of follow up or quick development. Sometimes it is much better to invest after the ICO closes.
Exactly
Like status network token is below the ICO price now and SONM is 40% down the ICO price. But some of the ICO did well in the past. Now adays it is like ICO mania and every new company launching their ICO for fund raising.
Do you want start a new website or an app? Then launch an ICO
This is actually happening currently
