With ICB, you don't have to wait for pow stop to stake.Pow and Pos cowork forever (near 200 years).
ICB is a scrypt coin; however it has advance features that don't like most of other scrypt coins. It's rather hard to mine ICB. Block reward is 10 ICB/min. We can see that when we check mining info from wallet, it shows that ICB is attracting many miner to mine ICB continously from the time source code was released. There has been more than 30.000 blocks passed however there're only about 150.000 ICB created more. That means mining just reaches about 50% effectiveness or about 5 ICB/min is being mined by POW. All fund for ICO still be locked in cold wallet that means staking is not really joining minting new coins. When finishing ICO, most of ICB supply are released for holders to stake, PoW miners will even hard to earn 1 ICB/min. At that time, miners could choose to continue mining or not based on ICB price and mining profit.
Anyway, there's always POW existence to support a strong ICB network (POS only scrypt coins are known to suffered severed security problems, especially when their networks are not matured enough).
Pioneer88 had a clever calculation on PoW reward and PoS interest which will encourage both miners and stakers then lead to achieve a stable ICB price at its highest possible level.

then the coin become pure POS and the only way to get new coins is staking.

If you have a pc then you should pm dev to just get your rewards when they are on exchange,but why would you participate on a campaign if there's no way on your part that you can acquire the coin,it's much better to particpate on campaign that pays bitcoin.

Dev is trustworthy you can opt to get your coin when it is on exchange I'm sure it will be listed on exchange after the ICO,just pm him or you can have a friend to keep your coin while their is no exchange yet,then transfer when we have one.

I think android wallet is yet to be released, though it can be made by some person that knows how to create an android wallet because the source code had been released.   But sad to say that asking or paying someone to create an android wallet will cost you around 0.8 to 1.5 BTC depends on your negotiation.  Better to use the window wallet qt as a wallet for now and wait for the android wallet to be released.  Most probably android wallet will be available  some months after the ICO is done.

edit : you can try to redownload the wallet qt, maybe there is some error while you are downloading the file.

ICB source code is published and miner has started mining ICB. If mining runs countinously from now till the end of December, there're about 400.000 ICB will be mined. This is less than bounty for facebook or twitter bounty compaign. So mining while crowdfunding could be considered a kind of bounty - network consolidation bounty.
Anyone who wants to earn some ICB for fun could start join pool mining which is introduced on OP.
As long as ICB haven't launched exchanges yet, releasing a little bit ICB or not will not affect on ICB investors.
I think the reason Pioneer88 published source code is that he wanted to expend his team, drive some developers to his project. We can feel that this action took effect based on a quick progress in ICOBID movement these days.

Of course all bounty should and must be paid after the Ico,it's a gneral rules that applies to all Ico or pre sale
although there are some coins that do not pay people who promote their coin,but I doubt this will happen to ICOBID
