2019 had been a great year for IEO's that had a large toll on the traditional way of issuing ICO. IEO too is an easier way to issue an IEO, in that sense, we could call 2019 a much more successful year for ICO in comparison to 2018. The market is again climbing in a natural pace and getting higher support levels that would be beneficial for investors in long term.

IEOs certainly seem to have advantages over ICOs most notably being "ease" of having everything take place on one exchange but many scam exchanges such as coinsbit and p2pb2b are sending fake volume to Coinmarketcap to try to make themselves looks bigger and better than others but in the end they are nothing more than modern day thieves waiting to scam as many users as possible before exiting. They are even operating their own IEOs using their own fake IEO projects in the hope to dupe users.

Which IEOs would you say were successful in 2018/19?

ICO in 2019 could not really attract investors to participate. It seems that IEO is popular. ICO is dead, I think this is true, I have not seen any ICO project really successful this year.

ICO in 2019 experienced many failures and has also been replaced by the IEO platform. Many projects that I participated in did not reach softcap and then returned the funds to investors. This also has an impact on bounty hunters because their work will be in vain. In 2019 this is indeed a bad year for ICOs and maybe ICO is no longer interesting and will be replaced by IEO.

Which exchanges were facilitating these IEOs that you say were successful and what are the names of the projects?
Mycro (MYO) was one of them and they claim to have a sold out IEO at Bitforex
Another project who previously held an ICO then had an OEO  almost a year later was XchangeRate (XRR) at Eterbase.

In 2019, it seems that ICO seems to slowly disappear into our vision, but IEO is very dazzling in 2019. I think this has a lot to do with the exchange platform. Exchanges and IEOs are associated with users. But users still need to look at the authenticity of the project.

Year 2019 is not so good year for ICO but I can say that it is still another year of success because even the price is very movable and most of the time ICO suffer from very low price it stays alive and this is the most import thing that happened. Even there is so many case of scam since 2018, the trust of investors is still on ICO and I classified it as an success not a failure.

In your opinion are there any ICOs in 2019 that have been notable successes?
In your opinion are there any ICOs in 2019 that have been notable failures?
In your opinion are there any ICOs in 2019 that have been notable scams?

How would you sum up ICOs in 2019 so far?

Most projects I have seen that started as ICOs have stopped and switched to IEOs or will be switching to IEOs after releasing their MVP. I don't know really if the change in token sale method can be considered a success or a failure because they are similar in my view.

Which exchanges were facilitating these IEOs that you say were successful and what are the names of the projects?

I heard that the ICO MiricaleTELE was very successful and the project works well. but recently I found out that the project’s CEO has left the telegram chats and token holders cannot withsraw dividends.

Ive joined the campaign of Miracle tele before and I admit I almost invest wih it since its process is very interesting and many hook up with it. But due to recent news that the CEO haas left probably it will go on a exit turn later on. Im not saying this is a scam already but think about the last email they send? Due to CEO left, team are now off for vacation? Until when? Or for good? Same with some ICOs before. There will be drama or any news about what happened on CEO or team. I think they ruin the reputation of a good project they created early or should I say hooked up with money collected and stop the real project objective.

Definitely a failure year for ICO's. We no longer here this buzzword and have been replace by guess what, IEO. And I'm sure developers or projects are going to move into this new business model in the next coming years. ICO investors is shifting into this new model because of the success of IEO. Big exchanges like Binance is taking the lead and almost all of their IEO launchpad is a success so it make sense for investors to move away for ICO model, just saying. Scammers are still there, but the chances are slim in IEO's though because trading exchanges are going to filter it because they launch the product on their platform.

Just like 2018 in 2019 I think ICO will not be much glimpsed by crypto investors, because most of them are traumatized by failed ICO projects, and now investors prefer the IEO project

yes, the trends move from ICO to IEO in this year,
a lot of investors choose IEO now rather than ICO, because they think IEO is safer than ICO mate

So far none after the hype and marketing, investors are quick to the dump and forget the hype

In your opinion are there any ICOs in 2019 that have been notable scams?

Ironx is a such a huge scam 26 million and their exchange platform is such a big mess and a big shit

How would you sum up ICOs in 2019 so far?
There's a recent study that Bitcoin dominance has reached 90% and ICO is almost dead, investors are wiser to invest in the top and old coins in the market, than gamble in a new one, but who knows there could be a reverse in the coming year I don't rule the possibility.

2019 is not for ico's , 2019 is for ieo's.

I can say "yes" for this. Since IEOs can be more popular than ICOs, people prefer to invest in IEOs than ICOs nowadays. The developers realize it very well, then most projects provide IEOs as their initial token sale model. So, this is actually making ICOs decreasing so much this year.

ICO's were just a way for many scammers to jump on the bandwagon.
Thankfully government regulation has helped in this department.
For sure a few ICO's will succeed, but the majority looked very scammy to me.
IEO's are likely to replace many and we will see more in the future along with tighter regulations from government watchdogs in the industry.

I see several ICO projects having difficulty getting funding. investors are more interested in IEO.
despite some successful ICOs, but IEO promises greater hype and greater profits. Just look at IEO binance is always in demand by many people and successfully provides huge benefits.

What happened to the ICO phenomenem of 2017? The craze which swept the crypto world and brought crypto based investment on a mass scale never seen before has subsided.

ICOs are still happening but with less fanfare and there does not seem to be any investor appetite probably because the amount of scams hugely outnumbering legitimate projects.

Add to that the number of bounty participants being scammed by the ICO project operators it stands to reason they are not promoting ICOs which has also contributed to the lack of ICO success.

IEOs have started to kick in and that too has made ICOs less appealing.

The presence of IEO is like making ICO becoming obsolete. Yes, I can say that is true.
For me, ICO is still good even though IEO has kicked ICO as mentioned in this topic. I see, the IEO project only benefits a few parties that are packaged as if investing in IEO projects is safer than ICO.
2019 can I say the most complicated year. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

In your opinion are there any ICOs in 2019 that have been notable successes?
Not so many ICOs have been notable successes, i just know the only ICO which has been notable successes was QDAO but after the first round of ICO crowdsale and it's moving towards IEO in the next round(50x return).

In your opinion are there any ICOs in 2019 that have been notable failures?

There are so many failures ICOs. To call out them all will be a difficult task.

In your opinion are there any ICOs in 2019 that have been notable scams?

It's just like plustoken.

How would you sum up ICOs in 2019 so far?

ICOs are not so impressive again and so far in this year, the market has already dominated by the IEO.
The end of the era for ICO but i can say these ICOs are doing mass migration to search any exchange sites to create cooperation to launch IEO.
We'll see the next waves in IEO form

It clear the dev is scammer that why one of the reason many ICO's is failure because of the reason, the investors and participants are can't receive their rewards. For me in my own opinion 2019 is time of IEO investor and crypto enthusiasm are now turn on to invest IEO projects.

I think that 2019 is still not very successful for the ICO. This year, a new direction of IEO appeared, which replaced the ICO. Therefore, we can say that most likely 2019 is the year of failure for the ICO.

Your right after all the what happen from a lot of project came from ico's people and investor are worried and scared to invest in ICOs project because of the scamms

In my opinion, ICOs have so far being the major reason why startups can actually reach their goals and materialise their dreams. It is true that the startups have turned to ICOs to generate funds for their projects but more real is the solutions these startups have given through the help of funding, considering these I will affirm that ICOs have been a success.
