There are some gambling sites where you can roll for free and earn some coins. But its very little money, not worth it if you ask me.I used to roll at freebitco.in for some time but I dont go there now.
These types of sites are really just faucets that have a way to keep you at the site while you are waiting to get to claim your "free" coins again

Generally speaking, you won't get much from the free rolls in the gambling sites.
But there are some special events from time to time, such as the "happy hours" in PD and "crazy hours" Luckybit, in which you can earn significant amount. Smiley

Well you can get members status pretty fast, but yeah, until then newbie campaigns aren't bad, faucets aren't that worth, maybe just dailybitcoins, coinad or freebitco.in.

I prefer Zakir over Muhammed when mentioning me!
IMO Joining a campaign is best thing for newbies to earn some coins. They can also try to earn some coins from High paying faucets like bitcoinzebra , dailyfreebits etc. . .

Faucets used to be decent about a year and a half ago...now it's all gone to crap, even though people made so much on their btc, seems like they are skimping even more now that they are rich

When I started here, there were no signature campaign for "newbies" and it was pretty hard to make coins. I sucked on the faucets and waited to become a member to be able to participate in them.

The waiting paid off, atleast now I am earning something, here. Newbies should make coins more easily now, with atleast 2 signature campaigns helping them on their feet.

If you have something to sell at home, example Books. {Go to a local book exchange, and sell them for fiat, and buy BTC with it} Or sell them online at the market place.
yeah that's very good someone make signature campaign for newbie and jr.member Grin
like opened new market for newbie and jr.member
but i'm little curious why you still choose your current signature campaign instead PD, that pay your 4x more than your current signature campaign. why?

It's Money 2.0| It’s gold for nerds | It's Bitcoin
The easiest way is signatures, they pay a lot of realiable bitcoin and it is more profitable than faucets.

Also it encourages you to keep informed about bitcoin.

Another good option is investing in a company or starting your own company and accept bitcoin.

can you explain more detail about signatures?
Every post that you post will contain something below your post, your "signature" you are able to change your signature whenever you want and when changed your new signature will be displayed on your prior and future posts (until you change your signature again)

Looking for some ideas here as well. Sig ads look like a legit option for more senior members.
do mintpal voting
in example - http://coinzen.org/index.php/topic,913.0.html
they pay you around 35k-40k satoshi / vote (in hyper, not bitcoin)
it's almost equal payment for one post in PD signature campaign

you can earn bitcoin by put their advertisement in your signature space
that advertisement will show every time you post in this forum
before that you must join signature campaign, most of all need member level as minimum requirements. but you can find signature campaign who accept newbie, just click link at shorena's post above
there's two popular types of signature campaign :
pay per post - you earn bitcoin based how many constructive posts that you made in periode of time (usually weekly, monthly)
pay per fixed amount - you earn bitcoin based on their offer in period of time, with minimal posts must reach. (for example : 0.05 BTC / month, minimum 50 posts made)

What are some new options we can use to get some of the people just stumbling into the world of BTC or people who have been out for a while and know they can't mine or afford to buy any equipment or outright by BTC to get a little piece of the coin?

Personally I've been struggling with ideas myself for a couple of weeks, ad sites are out because they pay out too little. I remember when bitvistor was paying out a good deal of coins for each website but that was well over a year or so ago. Faucets are becoming a thing of the past, people can't afford high speed asic's or outright buying coins.

Anybody have any new ideas?
I would just like to say thanks to all the people who posted some ideas. ty

Exactly.
Newbies would just get frustrated after spending an hour on faucets and making a few cents.
On the other hand, newbies can make reasonable amount of bitcoin with sig programs.

Crypto Swap Exchange
For bitcoins, been doing faucets as I don't have enough activity yet to do the signatures.

As a newbie, you can join the 777coin signature program. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/777coin-signature-personal-msg-campaign-newbjrmem-ref-bonus-10-654009 Smiley

The rates that they pay make it so it is almost not even worth it.

Once you achieve member status, a sig campaign is a must.

Why? It is still better than faucets, isn't it?

If you put in significant time to "just post because I am getting paid" as a newbie then you will have difficulty spending time on the forums actually learning about bitcoin.
It actually isn't good to have newbies in a signature campaign. Most of them do not have much knowledge about bitcoin and cannot give an accurate answer. It can create spams in the forum, not saying all of the newbies as some have a good knowledge of bitcoin.

Don't forget about the annoying 360 seconds limit for people with <= 14 activity.
They should have "significant time" to check the forums, while they are waiting to make their posts. Tongue
