Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley
Technically bitcoin serve as a currency that serve as universal currency on all crypto-currency which is happens to be the form of alternative altcoins. So if bitcoin would experience a loss or a glitch on its system changes in terms of all form of crypto-currency will also take place resulting for a loss of investment for people that used altcoin on tradings and investment.

If we're looking at the fact that you can let bitcoin die and focus on alts without trading with bitcoin, it would ve okay but in reality, I don't see it happening since there are a lot of people, influential and smart people, backing bitcoin and continues to use it. I myself would want Bitcoin to continue because it has been a revolutionary invention for transactions. Eliminating middlemen.

If bitcoin dies I think that altcoins will definitely take a major hit and their price will definitely get affected but in a short amount of time they will surely get back up.

. If that happened, which I particularly find impossible. There would be a market collapse, because the market base is the BTC. For example, if the dollar were to break down there would be an impact on all world trade and the world market as we know it would end, so would the Altcoins.

Just answering your morbid question. If Bitcoin dies, the altcoin will surely rise. For example if the whole nation make a command of turning down all miners and exchange sites and web wallets. People will surely jumped to altcoin. This would make the altcoin price soar.

But if the all nation would ban the CRYPTO CURRENCY as a whole. This includes Bitcoin and Altcoin. Of course both BTC and Alt will die.

I think Bitcoin won't die because there are lots of people that are making profit out of it, in short it is benefitiary to them. And since Bitcoin is dependent on the market demand, as long as Bitcoin is having a demand in the market it will last for a long time. And I don't see the connection of alt coin to Bitcoin when it comes to both of its existence and end. I don't think so but maybe, it will be in favor for altcoins if and only if  Bitcoin will die.

I think it will never die because it is booming and has great potential in the future. Besides, even if it is lost, I believe there will be a second Bitcoin that will appear and will grow even further.

I agree with you, in this era of globalization everyone will be looking for Bitcoin, because in the future it will be very difficult to get Bitcoin, let alone the Bitcoin price is now quite high, maybe for the future the price will be much higher. . of the current price so I'm not so sure that Bitcoin will die.

No one could even predict that mate, since the whole blockchain network admins really are doing such improvements of bitcoin systems I'm confidently been positive with bitcoin to gain more strong connections to the society in the future. It that bcc is created and funded by those bigger whales, how much more with bitcoin itself will be funded and be added it's current volume right now; so no reasons for it to die and price will be much higher will be possible in the future price surges.
Bitcoin will never die unless people start to reject Bitcoin so thus the alt coins too. People are more aware in Bitcoin and it's almost impossible to reject Bitcoin since the value of it's price is very high. It could surpass the price of gold in the future if people will still continue to support Bitcoin.

Altcoins depend on ethereum and bitcoins mainly as they are the currencies for which most altcoins trade and a slight dump too makes the price drop. See CDT price now which is 0.04 when it was 0.2 few days back and same goes for other altcoins like Mybit, PPT that are suffering now even when the price is above $200 for ETH and above $4000 for bTC. If bitcoin prices reduce to half, many coins would be valued below 1 cent.

This is true and we see this trend yesterday when The People's Bank of China which is the central bank of Chine put the ban on ICO and its funding in China the price of bitcoin drop 5% and ETH price drop by 12% but others altcoin prices drop to nearly 20%.

In the event that bitcoin bites the die, altcoin would most beyond words in light of the fact that bitcoin and altcoin have a major association with each other that their costs are practically associated with their trades from altcoin to bitcoin. The motivation behind why altcoin is extremely mainstream too is that bitcoin is famous as well. So in the event that  to die  bitcoin, altcoin will die  as well

Bitcoin, or more generally electronic cash, is an idea whose time has
come. It's something people have been working towards for decades
at this point. If BTC were to tank, (which isn't going to happen), not only
would altcoins not die, it would energize the crypto/finsec communities
to make the Next Big Thing™ without being in the shadow of the
big known currency.

Alt-coins, or more specifically all the clone shitcoin-qt currencies,
or tokens, or what-have-you, might fade out if BTC went. But the
idea has absolutely taken hold, and gained no small amount of mainstream
traction. So alternative currencies in some form or another will
always be with us.

I don't see any reason for Bitcoin to die but incase it does definetely altcoins will die as well. Bitcoin is a leader here and all are kind of derivatives in real sense.

I think with the value, the market and the many enthusiasts it is not possible bitcoin will die. But if the future bitcoin die may have to be seen from various aspects first because this will certainly affect the sustainability of altcoin.

Bitcoin has just started and still has to reach a huge population. It is not dying anytime soon. But if anyhow Bitcoin dies, then definitely the whole cryptocurrency market will die. Bitcoin dominates the cryptocurrency market and is the main medium for buying altcoins. People trust altcoins because of the success of Bitcoin only.

This is partially right.
Let us assume Case 1 where governments of majority countries put ban on Bitcoin. Then it is automatic that other coins will have to die as there existence will be considered illegal too.
Now come to Case 2. Suppose Bitcoin technologies become outdated and it no longer remains profitable mining it. Sooner or later everyone will abandon Bitcoin chain but on contrary other coins will cherish.

I think the whole point of this market is decentralization. So, if the more decentralized currency dies, the same could happen to any other.

When we think that bitcoin is popular crypto currency right now, then why we think negative ? That bitcoin will be die in future. It mean we have a doubt in our mind and we are not fully accept bitcoin as a future popular crypto currency. But it is right if bitcoin die in future then sure other altcoin will be die, because then people not believe in any other onces.
