Yes it may be that, because there is a life that is definitely dead and what in the world will sooner or later be lost and there may be other options that will be different but the purpose is the same .. I think its not, even though bitcoin is the pillars of all the coin but it will not directly make all coin gone because most of the altcoin is fueled by smart contract in the blockchain as what ethereum does, so as long as there is still ethereum then people still continue in the crypto activity making ethereum as there goal.

This is a very interesting question for discussion. If bitcoin as a result of some extraordinary circumstances disappears, I do not see any reason to worry about altcoyins. Why should they disappear? I think that they will continue to work. It's just then interesting - will they be free in price terms? Perhaps everything will depend on the maturity of the market.

No one actually knows, if bitcoin will be gone, there are still other altcons. Take note that bitcoin and other altcoins has their own use case and purpose. Another coin might even pop-up which has the same purpose or even surpass bitcoin's convenience and use case. I am sure that crypto currency is here to stay since we are already in an era where people are dependent in technology, and cryptocurrency is the next best thing in terms of technology, safety, and fund security.

I believe yes, because there are actually lots of potential tokens and I think some of them could still survive without bitcoin. We all know that some tokens rely and just survive through bitcoin but I believe that if ever bitcoin is gone, there are still altcoins that will shine in the market.

In this online industry there are too many altcoin so if you think if Bitcoin gone other crypto currency will be gone but I think it is not possible to die other crypto currency when gone Bitcoin because there are too many country make his own coin for his crypto currency market so it is not possible to did other coin if gone Bitcoin. Now Bitcoin is a world best crypto currency, I think it is not possible to destroy crypto currency.

Usually when the price of bitcoin starts to drop on the crypto-currencies trading market, most of the altcoins price will starts to drop too, so I think if bitcoin is gone, there will be a lot of altcoins that will not survive on the crypto-currencies trading market too.

And why should other types of crypto currency disappear if bitcoin disappears? It may be that in this case they will start to develop freely, as the price binding to bitcoin will disappear.

It is honestly really hard to predict because most altcoins rely on the value of bitcoin. However, there is still a possibility because some coins are strong enough to stand firm without depending on other coins. But still, bitcoin would still have a big impact so I think bitcoin still matters because it is known to be the father of all coins.

Bitcoin will not going to die and it will never going to happen because bitcoin today has been already make it's trademark to people. Hence, if it would happen maybe some or other coin may survive but wouldn't lasts. And it could be the Ethereum who will lead the crypto world and would have a high value but not greater than the value of bitcoin.
