I think yes, especially when upcoming coins will correct what Bitcoin might be failing at. Like for instance, the skyrocketing transaction fees, lag sites, inability to withdraw a certain sum brought about by the ceiling amount of withdrawals/transactions per day, and etc. If you observe these lapses closely, you will see these are within the control of Bitcoin per se. That is why I see it wrong to have it decentralized for a longer time than it is today. Its being decentralized will cause its demise for sure because some people are using Bitcoin's platform to make money and abuse it without much regard on the detrimental effects of their actions on Bitcoin. These type of people are only concerned about earning, hence, they will do everything in their power to make money regardless of its long-term effects to all stakeholders.

Basing on the market today bitcoin is dumping hard and also the alt coins. I guess without bitcoin the other coins will be gone too. What do you think?
I believe that if the bitcoin disappears then the crypto market will also disappear. You can see that the market is being influenced by so much bitcoin price increase and altcoin is also affected by the bitcoin price fluctuations. Bitcoin's market capitalization accounts for more than 45% of the total market cap.

And you think bitcoin will gone? it is a horrible statement I see your rank is a full member. How do you think like that? I don't understand every time the market goes down there will always be people asking this is the end of bitcoin and altcoin. You have to learn more again about cryptocurrency.

And you are full member, bitcoin and altcoin price down does not mean it will die but it is normal. Bitcoin price is very volatile, whenever it will crash and make the price down, and vice versa. So far we just focus on bitcoin prices, not to bitcoin users because that can make bitcoin die is the user, not the price.

Based on the topic, maybe I can say that other coins will survive, But people using the other coins will be the one that should endorse other coins to people using bitcoin before. Just keep in mind that bitcoin's price increases and decreases, it is volatile. But it is normal for that to happen, so maybe btc will nt be gone quickly.

bitcoin is the number 1 coin in the coinmarket, if bitcoin is gone, i think the whole market will crash and it's so hard to say that there is a coin that can survive, and if that happens, those coins would be ripple or ethereum

hello sir, why did you come to think that far. bitcoin will never disappear unless left by the community.
I think the most important is not bitcoin, but the technology is inside the bitcoin itself, I mean is blockchain.
I think if bitcoin is bearish it is a natural thing when a lot of issues, news, rumors are bad.

Blockchain technology will remain. There will remain coins, behind which there are powerful platforms and companies. It is also possible we will see new coins with technologies for big business
That is right and i do not think that bitcoin will comes to an end so soon, bitcoin is the new emerging currency and still it is in its early stage therefore it will survive for a long time, i think that some other altcoin will also survive because the in modern time the use of crytpo currency will continue increasing from time to time.

I also think the same thing with you sir, because bitcoin is still strong. many still have very large amounts of bitcoin.
I want to ask you, would you agree if the cryptocurrency will be regulated by the state? and all countries make their own cryptocurrency.

A hard hit may not be a bad thing, stopping the irrational game in time to really save bitcoin. It would be a real disaster if bitcoin were allowed to become a highly speculative target.

So I don't think bitcoin will disappear, it has its own viability, no one can make it disappear.

yes, I also think like that because I think bitcoin is the base of some crypto currency so when bitcoin goes down then almost all coins will also go down and if bitcoin is lost then other coins will also be difficult to survive

it is hard to predict but my answer is no...bitcoin as we all know has a strong foundation already ..when bitcoin fails and gone, the trust of bitcoiners for crypto will also lessen and eventually gone because it will come in their mind that though bitcoin who has a strong foundation still failed ,_how much more the other cyrpto who are yet to establish their name?

Looking for gigs
Now, this is an interesting question. I would say no because Bitcoin is the only gateway to be converted straight to fiat currency. For us to make a living in crypto trading, the presence of Bitcoin is necessary. Unless altcoins such as Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, Cardano, NEM, NEO, YOLO and the rest have created their own gateway to be converted straight to fiat currency, that's the thing they can survive. I think Dether is one project that would allow us to convert Ethereum straight to fiat currency. In the Philippines, we can now convert Ethereum to Philippine Peso aside from Bitcoin.

My idea is that other Alt coins come from the market based on this Bitcoin. So it is conceivable that when Bitcoin is gone, there is less chance of survival of all Alt coins.

If that happens most of the alts will go down and maybe only some will actually go down or close because they are too dependent in btc that when it falls it also falls.

it is hard to say. but i believe that if Bitcoin dies, altcoins will crash too. Because the people will lose the trust with cryptocurrency and there will be a big panic selling happens

I think alt coin will survive but only some of them, because bitcoin influence is so massive. If bitcoin is gone, investor will lose confident about crypto future. Only alt coins that have strong business will survive because their demand still there.

Beside the price fall and bad news about bitcoin still bitcoin is using by thousands of users and this figure is increasing day by day while those who believe bitcoin they know the real value of this to them and soon we can become the good investors of this currency and bitcoin will not end so we can not deliver other coins which will take place of bitcoin.

Saying that bitcoin will be gone forever is a very hypothetical statement and I don't see it getting true any time. Bitcoin was introduced on blockchain's platform which is a revolutionary technology and would find its use in the future.
If we assume that your statement was true, then yes, if bitcoin is gone then all the other alt coins would be gone as well. The reason why price of bitcoin is so high is because it is the oldest cryptocurrency in existence and people trust it. If the price would eventually fall to zero then that would mean that people have lost their trust in bitcoin and hence the alt coins would die too.
I also believe that bitcoin will not gone. Because it is now became trend and more popular i believe that it will really rise soon because of its amazing features and simplicity. However if bitcoin will gone I believe everything in crypto currency  feild is gone because bitcoin is the center of the crypto currency feild and bitcoin is the only coin that is convertable to fiat. Some other altcoin needs to be trade first.

Leading Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Company
I doubt Bitcoin going away will make other altcoins too go away.Come to think of it,people basically use Bitcoin because it is most popular but there are several robust cryptos that can take over from Bitcoin in its absence ethereum being one, ripple etc.the fact is we will need something that will be the USD of cryptocurrencies and for sure there will always be cryptos like that.
