Some people do trading Btc and alt. the other half is Btc with $, or alt with $. so BTc is also used as a benchmark price. when BTC weakens, change your alt with BTC, to get more BTC. therefore, alt prices will also go down because some people turn to BTC

I don’t think so. Suppose he has the opportunity to sell everything on average for 2-3K$. Will he drop the price to $100 for some principles? Hardly. In any case, if it is not a bluff, it will be interesting and sickly for many.

I am one hundred percent sure if Bitcoin will fall, altcoins will also fall. Now altcoins do not look good and if they fall even more it will be very bad for people who believe in altcoins.

It seems like some kind of black PR. A million BTC are great opportunities for market management. It is impossible to sell part of this even for taxes, as market liquidity does not allow this. To sell at maximum profit, he will have to create a long downtrend. But he will not be able to kill the whole market and all altcoins.
Do you really think that people have $10'000'000'000 to buy his 1 million Bitcoin if Bitcoin is at $10000? Do you think Jeff Bezos will do it? It can only fall a lot. Maybe to $100 and maybe there will be a permanent wall of Bitcoin after that. And who is gonna mine Bitcoin after if it crash to less than $1000? But yes, he can also try to sell little by little without making the market dump. But in this article, he wants to take revenge. It is going to be interesting to see if he is the real Satochi. But it can also just be a bluff to make Bitcoin fall lower. It is like playing at a casino. 50 percent chance to win.

I think the price of bitcoin will still have the potential to reduce prices but the price of bitcoin will not go down at a very cheap price, because now there is a very good moment to make the price of bitcoin expensive.

if btc drops to 7-8k range what happens to alts?
I think they will also fall, but half as much, but they will fall one hundred percent, right now they fall in any cases
Well, you have a point that if the Btc drops, the alts also will drop because we can see it the chart of cryptocurrencies. But it doesn't mean all the alts will drop if so. The reason why some alts drops when btc drops is when the rich people who holds a lot of btc and alts sold them, that is only my opinion, because it compose by a marketcap which is involved money.

I think there is a huge chance that the price of alt coins will drop as well. It always works like that. Though Bitcoin was able to break its barrier now in the $10,000, altcoins are not following up so there might be something new that is going to happen. If it goes low, I will just buy.

if btc drops to 7-8k range what happens to alts?
the investors is the reason for everything if the Bitcoin drops then no I will not interested about the investment and any other currencies so it causes everything to be drop this is the only thing happening every time while the Bitcoin is dropping
No, it's not that mate. Many frustrated buyers will have the desires to buy bitcoin and hold it for years. Some of them we're nobs and will panic when there's another declination or price. While btc drops it's always a good opportunity for everybody who wants crypto investment.

it's not a rocket science,  we all know that if bitcoin pump altcoins dumps, bitcoin dumps altcoins dump also,  only when it's stabilized,  so most of altcoins will also  dump as the king dumped too

Did you read this article? If this is true, it could be the end of cryptocurrencies in 2020 if Craig Wright can claim his 1 million Bitcoin. It could be funny to see what is going to happen if he is the real Satoshi.

if btc drops it will be very easy we see if other crypto prices will experience a drastic decline, so I think when btc prices go down it can be a moment for traders and investors to buy at low prices and wait to get to the best position when prices are high

The market is still bullish. We are in a consolidation phase. Hopefully we are now nearing the end of it, and back to price rises - some encouraging signs today.
I much prefer this sort of rise where we have periods of cooling off and establishing new support levels. It makes the whole market more resilient.
Most of us still seeing the potentials of market rising continuously, the movements showed a good sign of seeing people to buy in and invest their money back to bitcoin, pressures from sellers might been done and now it's time for buying momentum to be more stronger than those weak holders, for sure those who sell out of panic are now regretting their wrong anticipations.

Why does it have to rely with the bitcoin price?
I mean, they have their own market right? The management of the coin should be the one in charge on how the price of that certain altcoin will go up.
One good way is advertising it.
Bitcoin doesnt need it because it is popular by now. But alts wont have any buyers if not showcased to the public.
There is already USDT now where bitcoin can be traded to unlike before.

Better contact the management of the coin you are holding if they have any steps on what will happen to their market.

It's a normal phenomenon. For BTC to drop to this, a lot of money must have equally be withdrawn from the market, meaning altcoins will suffer too. We may eventually see a return of a coordinated pump and dump altcoin just to qucickly take profit and punish late comers. This whole market revolves round the bitcoin. A mate said I am okay with BTC aand ETH. Lols

precisely now what we see is a moment of improvement that occurs in bitcoin and some other altcoin assets.
bitcoin decline will definitely happen, and we've seen it happen several times this year. a severe decline occurred 2018 and that is a poor crypto market condition. I don't expect that to happen again, but if it happens I already know what I have to do.
Like you stated, there will always be decline in the value of bitcoin, and this decline state is when many people do make more profit, what most traders usually look at for when it comes to the best time to buy bitcoin is when it is in correction phase, during the time bitcoin declines, many trader accumulate as much as they can according to their capacity and then wait for the price to surge again for them to make profit.

For the biggest decline, I think that would always occur to, just that it usually a season thing, I mean when bitcoin reaches its all-time high, people would definitely start dumping their coin, and this event is what pushes the market to enter the bear market state where we will have to all start all over again like it happened in that 2018, I still expect that to happen after the bull run.

Btc keeps being the deciding factor in the market, more drop from btc at the moment will result to capitulation of most altcoin, especially those not paired to fiat in big volume exchanges.

It goes down as well. Since btc determines the price of the market, alts will also go with the price of bitcoin. When the price of bitcoin goes up, assume that alts goes up also. But when bitcoin move down, alts will go down also. In short, they are positively correlated to each other. I don't why alts are dependent to bitcoin.
