if it happens like that then altcoin will make all time low. bitcoin is the king of crypto so altcoin also follows the movements of bitcoin. bitcoin up altcoin cras, bitcoin down altcoin crash. altsesoan is when bitcoin prices are stable

I think the price of bitcoin will still have the potential to reduce prices but the price of bitcoin will not go down at a very cheap price, because now there is a very good moment to make the price of bitcoin expensive.
precisely now what we see is a moment of improvement that occurs in bitcoin and some other altcoin assets.
bitcoin decline will definitely happen, and we've seen it happen several times this year. a severe decline occurred 2018 and that is a poor crypto market condition. I don't expect that to happen again, but if it happens I already know what I have to do.
History usually repeats itself as the crypto market is considered and this the part why I love technical analysis. Speaking of 2018 market, if you ask all experienced crypto traders/investors they will tell you that such occasion ought to be expected and will also occur after the next year market cause this how the crypto market works i.e Bitcoin halving (all the market will reach a new ATH), then market correction and after correction the market gain it strength back while experience slightly increase in price with dump sometime.

if btc drops to 7-8k range what happens to alts?
if btc drops it is most likely for altcoin to also experience a significant decrease. I think right now the increase in altcoin can happen because if bitcoin also increases, so the increase or decrease in BTC will affect all altcoins.

if the btc price drops maybe now the altcoin price will also experience a big drop. now we see if the effect of btc on altcoin and the crypto market is very large, it will be easy to shake crypto by simply dropping the price of btc
BTC is a coin that can control the entire market and this is the only coin with the most stable growth during the last 7 months but this does not help altcoin increase this year because most of it Altcoin is still in a correction phase. I believe this year will still be a bad year for all investors so consider safe options because we can't be sure what will happen next.

If btc drops me and tons of others will buy a shitload sending the price miles higher again. Easy as that.
That is what a good trader does, they see a price drop, buy and then sell it when it is high, which is usually the way most whales do accumulate their coins, that is why I believe that bitcoin will never zero as against what some people are saying or as against someone fact based on shalecoin that bitcoin may go as low as $100 which I don’t believe that can ever happen, like you said, as bitcoin drops, there are thousands of people waiting to buy that price.

It is only altcoins that drops in value and people get discourage or panic sell that must, because they feel the price may never recover again, but when it comes to bitcoin, every of its drop is a disguise in blessing, just like I sold some of my coins now, I am waiting for price to still dump before I buy again.

BTC seems to have found good support around $9,500. I think we will move up from here, and I hope it is sustainable movement rather than parabolic, as that is never sustainable. My EOY target holds around $ 35,000 for BTC.

the decline in bitcoin will clearly make a decline in the overall market. we have known and seen that happen. even in a dump, we see how altcoin follows the downward movement of bitcoin. some altcoin might be able to survive and actually make an increase. but that only happens to assets that pump only on every update that is made.

Not all the time the alts will depends on the price of btc there are also some alts that excel when the price of btc drops, and that is the time the people should look into it for the reason of having a good profit in return.
The price of altcoin market will always depend on BTC for BTC is the most trusted and dominance we have in the market cryptocurrency automatically it have the upper hand than every altcoin since it have the highest support.

The market is still bullish. We are in a consolidation phase. Hopefully we are now nearing the end of it, and back to price rises - some encouraging signs today.
I much prefer this sort of rise where we have periods of cooling off and establishing new support levels. It makes the whole market more resilient.
The trend showed by the market during last weekend have proof this week market to be consolidation moment but  we both know the dump trend is every much alive until it next year and the best thing we can do now is to seize the moment.

When BTC falls, most altcoins follow it but when it rises altcoins do not with less force. The last year is proof. With the naked eye, we see the devaluation of altcoins!

Still, the altcoin is in the same situation because when bitcoin is increasing or decreasing the price of altcoin are kept decreasing in the market and the value of the coins are kept decreasing. In either way, altcoin prices are decreasing in the market.

The moment when bitcoin drops 7-8k range i would say its a Christmas day were all of its accessories are in red colors. There would be a big affect in altcoins if the value of Bitcoin is decreasing for example from $10,850.02 to $7,000.

Christmas already came early in Q1 of this year remember, we had Ethereum below $100, we had Bitcoin almost at $3k, and compare that to what price we have even today after 2019 highs all came down? Already x3 for many of the big coins in less than 6 months. I would say hodl longer if you want,,, or get out now and give us other Christmas gifts;)

we've seen bitcoin drop. if you look at 2018, then you will see where maybe bitcoin is at its lowest point after increasing height in 2017. and the conditions will not be much different if bitcoin returns to decline again.

If that would happened, then alts would just crash as well like what we have experienced in 2018 where everything went down both Altcoins and Bitcoins. We don't want to see that ever again, because Bitcoin is already doing good this year at $10.9k price range, which is good.

yes, that's a true fact.  The BTC is still now the most dominant coin and certainly its price effects to the market. So when it fails the altcoins follows it. But when it increases then the traders try to sell the altcoin and go back to the basis-BTC. That's why I think that situation happens.
The attitudes of most traders are still the same it' all about how to quickly earned so we are seeing this movements as the market still dominated by bitcoin and each movements this coin go it's been chased by traders, there's a need of much stronger pumped before we can see diversions from big earners and lift up the alts community.

there is nothing effect the other currency when the Bitcoin is dropping because each and every currency had its own development and also its own feature to develop in the investors and so I think if Bitcoin drops then people reduced investment and other currency it is the only affected things.

as long as I see the movement in the crypto world, when bitcoin goes down this will affect the value of atcoin which drops very dramatically, the value of altcoin will be as it used to be of no value. I'm worried that investors will sell their altcoin assets to buy bitcoin on a large scale
